Red Panda Manor Pu’re

The hotel is located in Pu'er National Forest Park. We stayed in a parent-child room with a large bed and a bunk bed. The hotel provides butler service throughout the whole process. The battery car will arrive at the room within five minutes and send you to the scenic area, restaurant, and hotel lobby. It is very convenient. We ordered a few dishes in the restaurant for lunch. Because it was the Dragon Boat Festival, the hotel restaurant gave us a red local medicinal soup and rice dumplings. The hot pot for dinner was very filling and rich in ingredients. There are rhinos, red pandas, and sika deer in the scenic area, which can be fed to children. Families with children can experience it. There are also many rich parent-child activities, which need to be booked in advance. The picture is attached, and families with children can rush.

I have booked hotels on Ctrip for such a long time and never gave bad reviews, but this time the arrogance of the restaurant management staff made me very disappointed. Pu'er Red Panda Hotel is very distinctive, and all the service staff are very dedicated, especially the little girl at the front desk who checked in on the first night was very nice. Seeing that I was alone with my child, she specially helped me choose a more convenient room. It was a warm reminder that I would be a little bored with the food if I stayed for three nights. She also specifically said that if I wanted to withdraw on the last day, they would accept it. This really made me feel comfortable, and we really couldn't stand it on the third night, so we simply withdrew. But there are two points I want to reflect on the Ctrip platform. First of all, the room hygiene here needs to be improved. I know that this is not a problem with the service staff, but a loophole in management. Repeatedly, speed does not seek quality. This hotel can only do one-time transactions. Please accept the opinions of our consumers and continue to improve to deserve the price of 2,500. Second, the restaurant's meals are too monotonous. The dishes are the same every day. After dinner, I eat in the morning. I don't know if the hot dishes are left over from the previous day. Anyway, they are the same in the morning and evening. They don't consider whether customers will come at all, because there is only one restaurant for breakfast and dinner. I stayed for two days and raised some issues with the restaurant staff. They told me that I could choose other restaurants down the mountain. Are you kidding me? Where can I find a restaurant in this deep mountain forest? They had an attitude of "I don't care if I eat or not". The most annoying thing is that the restaurant manager, a man with a flat head and glasses, smiled at the waiter after hearing my opinions. As a restaurant manager, please maintain your professionalism and at least give customers some feedback. Your arrogant attitude is because there are no competitors nearby and you can only choose to eat here, so you just sit back and wait. Is this attitude of "I don't care if I eat or not" really good? For reference only, to be honest, there is no need to spend 2,500 a night just to go to a zoo. There are many hotels in the city with better conditions, hardware facilities and services than this one.

The front desk service was average. We chartered a car from Xishuangbanna Hotel and went directly to the hotel. We originally planned to take the train after visiting Xishuangbanna, but later changed the itinerary temporarily to come to the zoo. After all, the high travel fee, our season is the off-season for hotels. After getting off the highway, we encountered a total of three cars on the way up the mountain. There were quite a lot of people when we arrived. After asking, they said that most of them were tour groups, and they usually arrived after 8 o'clock. As for the service, the front desk was very indifferent at first. The elderly’s ID card could not be processed, so they asked me to scan the code to process it. Later, I was a little irritated, and they said that the elderly could use their ID cards and they would process it. Later, during the process, I probably saw that I was also a gold diamond member. It started to get better, but not much better. I added WeChat, gave a trial ticket, and said a lot of precautions in one breath, and gave a guide map, which was messy and perfunctory. The only good thing was that we arrived before 10 o'clock and had a room. The room was nice. We put our luggage down and went out to play. The animals were interesting and the concept was good. The animals were free-range and the red pandas were fed. The children had a lot of fun. In the afternoon, we went to the experience center and drank the white moonlight or moonlight white Pu'er tea there. The boss's surname is Xu. He doesn't look like a businessman, but more like a scholar. He is gentle and refined. I took the children to play with clay and draw. We had dinner at the wetland restaurant in the evening. We went there when it opened at 5:30. There was no one when we went, so we chose a sofa with a good view. Two cats came next to us, and there were ducks 🦆 and birds outside, right next to us. The restaurant is quite unique. There were red pandas strolling outside for breakfast the next day, and sika deer outside the restaurant. Let me tell you about the scary thing. It was around 3 a.m. and it was a bit cold. After we turned off the air conditioner, it was very quiet. I felt a sound, and it moved from time to time. I was scared to death. I called a service number and a big sister came and said it was a cicada outside. After it was caught, there was indeed no sound. Anyway, I was also very nervous before staying here, and I was hesitant after reading so many reviews, but after staying here, I think it is okay. I have no regrets. It is still worth experiencing. Especially in the off-season, there are fewer people, so the experience is better. It is said that the occupancy rate is only 10% these days. Let’s talk about the front desk staff. I suddenly had my period. Generally, better hotels will give free sanitary napkins, but they didn’t. I transferred it to the customer service, 58 per pack, and she helped me buy it. The service awareness is definitely not that good. I guess there is no shortage of people in this kind of place. When I left, she didn’t forget to ask me for a five-star review. How can you have the nerve to ask for it if you don’t have a five-star rating?

The Red Panda Hotel is worth a family trip. Check in during the rainy season. After a night of rain, fall asleep to the white noise and wake up to the chirping of cicadas and birds. Then walk to the restaurant for breakfast. Along the way, I see the gifts of the rainy season, many colorful mushrooms, so beautiful! This restaurant is absolutely amazing, with egrets, ducks, misty mountains, and a refreshing breakfast. The red pandas are so cute.

I personally feel that the service is very good. Both the front desk and the electric car driver have a very good attitude. The air conditioning in the room was turned on in advance, and it was very comfortable to go in. There was an electric blanket on the bed to prevent moisture. I thought the hygiene was very clean. The electric kettle was directly connected to the mineral water bottle, which was very clean. There were no disgusting problems like other hotels. The mini bar and children's toiletries were very considerate. However, you do have to pay for the extra electric car and tickets, and breakfast. Of course, you don't have to pay if you decide not to eat breakfast.

The hotel service is very good. The car is available at any time to go anywhere in the park. The service staff is friendly. There are many activities in the park all day and it is super fun. The red pandas are so cute! The hotel's red panda restaurant is one of the most popular restaurants in China. The scenery is beautiful, and there will be red pandas patrolling in the morning.
