The room was meticulously finished, and the cleanliness was outstanding. All the staff were friendly from the very start, beginning with the driver who picked us up at the station. The team is professional and attentive to guests’ needs. Both the breakfast and lunch buffets are generous, with a well-curated selection.

A top notch hotel stay. From the moment we arrived to the day we left, all the staff from front desk, kitchen, and cleaning showed exceptional hospitality. We enjoyed both breakfast and lunch options as well as appreciated the late night option where we could also get wonton or noodle soup if we felt hungry. Overall an fantastic accomodation that exceeds expectations when staying in Pu'er.

Warm hospitality at Pu’er DeTing Boutique Hotel. The staff greet you warmly both upon arrival and departure. At check-in, we were upgraded to a room with a larger bathroom featuring a bathtub 🛀 and a basin for foot soaking. We enjoyed several perks during our stay: • Complimentary fruit (pears and apples in November) available at the entrance. • Free tea in both the lobby and the room; the room is stocked with Pu’er red tea, two instant coffees, and plenty of free bottled water (at least 4 bottles). • Free admission to the China Pu’er Tea Expo Garden, located 30 km south of Pu’er – just present your hotel card, saving about 50 RMB per person. • Complimentary simple dinner served from 5 PM to 9 PM on the top floor (usually breakfast area) offering a homemade Chinese noodle dish, typically in broth. • Special promotion for free laundry service (limited items, likely a seasonal offer). Clothes are cleaned, folded, and returned within about 3 hours or half a day, left hanging on the door handle of your room—very quick service. Pros: • Central location on a main street with all necessary amenities nearby. • Numerous benefits as detailed above. Only downside: • No fridge in the room, which is typical in many Chinese hotels.

Great place to stay, staff is helping and providing help for luggage as example, offer gift when we leave, and keep smile all your stay! Only a bit old bed maybe as too soft for me, but all clean so it’s great!

The staff were helpful and responsive to my requests throughout my stay. The hotel is strategically located in town, with a good variety of tasty food served. Overall, highly recommended and definitely worth the money.

I had an amazing experience staying at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome — always warm, attentive, and genuinely eager to help. Every interaction felt personal, and it was clear that they take great pride in providing excellent service. I also appreciated the free laundry service, which made my stay so much more convenient. The clothes came back neatly folded — a small detail, but it really set this place apart. Very grateful to the super friendly staff as well, they helped make the trip very enjoyable! Would definitely stay here again! The overall quality of service was consistently top-notch. Housekeeping was meticulous, the front desk staff were proactive in offering recommendations, and even small requests were handled quickly with a smile. It’s rare to find a hotel that combines such professional service with genuine warmth. We were so glad that we stay in Pu'er DeTing Boutique Hotel, the hotel offered an exceptional stay with its impeccable hospitality. We were welcomed with genuine warmness as we stepped into the entrance of the hotel, every staff at the reception greeted us with enthusiasm. One came out to help us wiht our luggages, another offered tea while we checked in. The thoughtful touches started from the lobby area - seasonal fresh fruits, freshly brewed Pu'er tea, ice creams, bottled drinking water (do not have to keep asking from reception) and ammenities such as cotton pad for face, floss/picks for teeth etc ... to the herbal foot soak, washing detergents, and sanitized towels in the room. What truly sets this hotel apart is the proactive staff—always going above and beyond with personalized service. The stay came with daily laundry service (a fantastic perk) and three meals offering superb dining experience with an extensive breakfast spread, lunch and supper (served from 7:30 PM to 10 PM). They were also generous, I asked for price for inviting friend to join me for breakfast, they replied to go ahead - free. The hotel’s attention to detail shines through in every aspects, the staff's responsiveness to WeChat requests is impressively prompt, and the housekeeping team (especially the friendly "aunties") adds a warm, welcoming vibe. Upon checking out, the staff proactively took our luggages and walked with us to the waiting point, helped to put our cases into the cab and sent information on DeTing at our next destination. We felt our stay in DeTing made our time in Pu'er more memorable and special. So glad we stayed there.

We had a nice stay: kids enjoyed free ice cream and snacks every time in the lobby. Laundry was for free and fast - overnight. Meals were included. Good hotel!

The hotel was very conveniently located within the Simao city centre. Rooms were clean, and the service was typically good of Chinese standards. They even had free ice cream and a supper noodle bar available for hotel guests.

This is a great business hotel. The key advantage is that they provide free laundry service. They collect in the morning and it comes back the next day.

Me and my friend came to stay at this hotel traveling from Jinghong to Pu'er. The hotel is located near by bus stop and there's plenty convenient stores and small eateries near by. The room, towels and bed sheets were very clean and bed was very comfortable. Everything worked properly and everyone at this hotel were friendly and very resourceful. I would definitely going to stay at this hotel again when coming back to Pu'er next time. I still remember the taste of welcome drink and already feel missing of the memories in Pu'er...
