This hotel promised so much but was generally disappointing. At first glance it looks good but we soon realised that there were lots of things we didn't like about the hotel. LOCATION yes it is right on the beach but there is a band of huge rocks between the hotel and the water so you hav to walk down the beach quite a long way to access the water. It is also at the very windiest end of this long, beautiful beach and the other end hotels would be much more comfortable where wind is concerned ROOM We spent the extra to have a Junior Suite and were very disappoite with it. All the walls were blank with no characterful pictures or anything. Overhead lighting which was very harsh - the fridge didn't work (reported twice to no effect) - the bathroom looked tired and dingy. FOOD The 'restaurant' was more like a factory canteen. No atmosphere at all - especially in the eveing with harsh ***** lighting only. We ate here the first night and that was all. Dreadful choice of wines by the glass.... LITTLE THINGS - having to go to main reception to get pool towels - having to pay 20 euros deposit in cash to use them! Not enough tables outside the restaurant to enable outdoor eating at breakfast and lunch. The hotel is very large and lacking in soul or charcter - just a mass production enterprise. I am sure you can do much better than this in Lanzarote for much less money

First time at this Hotel. Lovely location right by the beach and a short walk to the shops and restaurants. Our room was lovely and spacious, beds are so comfortable. The maid service was fantastic, room cleaned and towels changed each day. It was my Birthday and the Hotel left me a bottle of bubbly which I thought was lovely. So glad we only booked HB, the food was terrible, look warm and not a lot of choice, so glad we never had any kids with us as there is nothing for them in my opinion. The best thing I had was a cheese and onion sandwich.

Staff was great and very helpful. Jonathan was great and energetic ! The pool was great and the life guard too. It’s a stone throw away from markets , touristic events etc The only gripe I had was with 1 mm ants ? That popped up in the kitchen and bathtub was worn. But it wasn’t dirty. Cleaning lady also cleaned everyday. Definitely a lovely stay for the money and amazing staff.

Just returned from a fabulous 11 night holiday. We had a room with a side sea view lovely spacious room, walk in shower (rooms with a bath also available), mini fridge, microwave, safe (extra charge). Spacious terrace with 2 chairs, table and 2 sun loungers. Always loungers around the pool. The usual suspects reserving sun beds before 9.00 despite notices. Entertainment was good and lovely lounge area. Prices for drinks very reasonable 3.50 euros for a large beer (excellent beer). We were half board and the food was delicious plenty of choice and vegetarians well catered for. The staff were very friendly. Stand out was Renata on reception who arranged for our daughter who was staying for part of our holiday to have a room near ours. The hotel is closing in the spring for refurbishment and I hope the staff get some clarity soon on what will be happening to them when it closes as it is causing them some anxiety. It was really nice to see the staff really enjoying their jobs and hope they can return when the hotel reopens. The hotel is in fabulous location just near the beach and at the quiet end of the *****. We are planning to return next October.

Overall experience good, staff amazing especially Veronica! Manager of the main restaurant was rude at times and arrogant attitude! Not enough staff, but they coped well, we felt sorry for them! Ridiculous that you had to pay for water if you had it in a bottle, and we were all inclusive, also only had free water in the evening, out of the tap I assume, not bottled! Food was average, entertainment good, pool good, cleanliness very good! Weather was amazing, beach was across the road, close to all amenities and restaurants and shops!
