Apartamentos Maribel

Basic but very, very friendly complex. Large 1 bed apartments. Yes, dated and furniture a little mismatched, but the location is superb, and the staff are, without exception, the nicest team I have come across here! Always keen to help when they can! Booked again for March..🌞🙂

Vile ! Omg please don’t read the good reviews this place is vile. The rooms are filthy. The smell when u enter is like musty the pillows are brown and smell of sweat and really need throwing in the bin. It’s absolutely boiling hot. You are just provided with a fan. The floor doesn’t look like it’s been clean and had dead bugs over the floor. The toilet had the last occupants hair and toothpaste the sink. The sheets had stains. I’ve never been to a more disgusting place than this. I know it’s a 2 star and wasn’t expecting the best but wow this really is terrible. I had the worst night sleep from being bitten and itching all night. I have woke with bites all over me. I was trying to protect my son by covering his body with mine from getting bitten. Please please do not book here. We are checking out this morning and booking somewhere else. !!

We were early for our booking but were greeted with a warm welcome and they kindly looked after all our stuff until our apartment was ready. The apartment was spotless, with comfy beds and pristine linen. We had a balcony overlooking the street and sea but the beds were on the resort-side so it wasn't noisy at night. The kitchen was fully equipped and there was even a washing machine (for clothes) in the bathroom. The pool and the sunbeds were perfect. Sheltered from the breeze and with a warm shower and a quiet, fun vibe. NB it's a small pool, 75-125cm deep. Not really for sporty kids, but perfect for grown-ups (and maybe babies/littles) to take a dip and cool down. The location is fab. 10ish mins from the airport. V close to a Spar supermarket plus the millions(ish) of shops, bars and restaurants on the main street. My friends and I felt we were at the more "chilled" end of the street, away from the people talking you into their bar etc which was nice. The staff were accommodating and friendly, and as a group of ladies we felt safe and had a great time! I can't wait to re-book!

We were a bit worried to be staying at the Apartmentos Maribel after reading some reviews,but we were both over the moon with are stay. The studio apartment was very good for are stay enough room. The only problem had to be quick for a hot shower but at least we had more time to go out. We both had a great sleep there and there is a fan provided and with the window open it was cool at night. All the staff we meet at Maribel were polite and friendly,the pool cat man the lady who cleaned the apartments and of course Christine on reception many thanks to you all. We are trying to book for my birthday next year so hopefully we will be back. Many thanks for a wonderful sta8

I love the Maribel,best and only place for me to stay,have been coming every year since 2015 and always am happy,great view from front apartments,loads of space in both rooms,bed linen changed every 2nd day,plenty of towels given even 1s for beach,Boss man Javier and his wife and children can't do enough for you/me,I wouldn't stay anywhere else, apartments always spotless as are beds,never a problem here,it's so near to ***** with no hills and the beach is across the rd,plenty of shops,cafes,restaurants and bars near by,and please God il be back there again in May.Thanks Javier and Family for always been good to me.Úna from Lahinch.

Maribel Apartments Are a great location, near to shops and Restaurants and the beach. Plenty of space around the pool and plenty of sun beds Family run, and are lovely people to deal with, Javier and his Son are very accommodating, if you ask for pool or street view if available you’ll get.. Been coming to these apartments for many many years and love it, cleaners are excellent and keep apartments spotless and keep you in great supply of towels and Toilet rolls.. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
