Hotel Mercurio - Gay Friendly

Hotel Was great! Staff & Customer service was exceptional. Property was well maintained! Cleaning Staff did a great job every day with cleaning the room and providing laundry service if we needed it. Great location for being right in the middle of the Romanic Zone and within walking distance of everything.

I almost hate to post a review because if everyone knows how great this place is then it will be even harder to get a room! I just returned from 9 days at Mercurio, my 3rd time there this year. I love this place. Paul the owner is always around, the staff is the best, the place is spotless, the food is delicious, the beds are comfy, the ac is perfect and the location could not be better. Joselo, Gabriel, Israel, Monica, Adam, Paulette, David, Junior, Jorge, Briam, Rafael, all top notch. I’ve missed some names and I apologize. See you guys soon!

Stayed 6 nights and no complaints. It is older but everything works. No balcony but has nice courtyard. Quiet at night. Loved the breakfasts. Nice to be able to order drink or other food too! Location can't be beat. Friendly staff. Definitely would stay again.

It was our first time tovisit Puerto Vallarta and we decided to stay here. We were not disappointed in the slightest. Great place to stay, staff are very helpful and accomodating in every way. Great atmosphere. Great food any time of the day. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner it doesn't matter. We wouldn't hesitiate to stay there again.

I booked a ten night say at this hotel and it is worth every penny! I will be back here when i go to Puerto Vallarta again, without hesitation. This hotel is in the middle of EVERYTHING. The guests ages range from in their 20's to 70's. The rooms are nice and cozy, but dated. The sheet are clean, the beds are comfortable, the pillows are fluffy, the floors are spotless, the bathrooms are clean and there is fresh paint on the walls too! The staff members are all gems and take this hotel to a new level! Jorge is your best friend here, he runs the bar and makes excellent drinks and has knowledge of the town like no other, listen to him and you will never be steered in the wrong direction. As for the rest of the staff, one is better than the other. Briam and Rafael work the bar as well they are FUN to hang around and joke with. They are very knowledgable as well, ask them anything. Jose and Adam Jr. work in the morning and serve breakfast by the pool, they very sweet and will get you anything. Joselo and Israel work the front desk they are always with a smile and warm greeting. you will meet the cleaning staff and kitchen staff as well, if you speak Spanish you will have a blast with them too. Im telling you this place has the best people working it morning, noon and night! The food is very good and they are American sized portions at a great price! Sunday is the big party day, EVERYONE shows up at this party; locals, guests, other travelers. They have happy hour foods and drinks, music, go-go dancers, singers and other various entertainers as well from around town. All in all, this is one of the best hotel experiences I ever had!

A really nice hotel right in the heart of PV. Comfortable rooms, a chilled vibe and the food (especially the breakfast) is excellent. The staff are kind and welcoming, including to solo travellers. From talking to other visitors in PV the nightly rates are also very reasonable.

Felt like my home away from home! Special thanks to Joselo and Luis for excellent service! And the cute breakfast server was great (sorry forgot name!) This hotel has a guest house feel where people are welcomed like personal guests. Excellent daily breakfast at the pool, perfect cocktails, and clean rooms. This is the perfect location! A hideaway right in the middle of it all. Loved every moment, thanks to the great staff!

Checked in for 10 days. Check in went smoothly no issues. Got to my room. It was spacious and clean well stocked with toiletries and towels etc. Took advantage of the in room safe and refrigerator. Life saver appreciated the complimentary bottles of water provided daily that's a great perk considering that it's always hot here. Went down to the bar enjoyed my complimentary free drink upon arrival as always delicious and freshly made by Jorge service is always on point. With great drinks. By Jorge and Briham. Really loved the complimentary breakfast that comes for the guests. Fresh hot and delicious great servers David and Rafa always on point always friendly with a big smile. To be honest every one of the staff from the front desk to the cleaning staff to the people that are serving drinks food everybody including the owner everybody goes out of their way to make you feel like a VIP and make your stay as wonderful as possible. My favorite hotel in PV. Can't wait to return noticed there starting to some renovations on some rooms took a little peek in one. Looks amazing will be a great addition to a already amazing hotel.

First of all, I will not be able to say enough positive things about our stay at Hotel Mercurio! I have never stayed at a place that makes you feel like you are at home like this hotel. The room was very comfortable and clean with house-keeping services made available daily if desired. The staff are amazing from management to direct service staff. They are so accommodating unlike most places here in the United States. The food was very tasty and made fresh for breakfast, lunch and dinner if desired. The location was in a perfect walking distance to the beach, bars, restaurants, and shops. I have found my perfect place to stay from now on and plan to visit regularly. I highly recommend Hotel Mercurio!
