Hotel Puerto Varas dengan Sarapan

Our pre-trip stay with Earth River Expeditions at the Cumbres Puerto Varas Hotel was exceptional, complete with a luxurious spa and a cozy lobby fireplace, providing the perfect setting to unwind after long international travel and before our adventure. The attentive hotel staff ensured our comfort, seamlessly handling our logistics, including luggage storage for a lighter travel to the river. The views from the rooms were incredible and the lobby and dining room were well-staffed. Everyone there seemed devoted to making our stay special. It was the perfect place to begin and end our Futaleufu whitewater rafting trip adventure.

The hotel itself was lovely and very warm and comfy. The restaurant isn't in the same building, but not a drama, but for our supper we got charged nearly 100 thousand pesos, ny partners had eaten his food before I got my steak, out potatoes and chips were cold, and by time my steak finally arrived my chips were totally cold. Breakfast was fine and plentiful.

Hotel was well very comfortable and located 400 metres uphill from the main street. Large room with King size bed large windows overlooking town. Hot and cold buffet was included for breakfast from 7 till 11 am bar and dining food service until 11 pm. Very friendly staff. No coffee/tea facilities in room but hot water or tea and coffe available from bar on ground floor.

We booked Enjoy Puerto Varas because of its location, but I would recommend it not only for it's location, but its beautiful grounds, spacious gathering areas, best breakfast we had in Chile, friendliest and most helpful staff. We arrived by taxi because every rental car place at the airport said there were no cars left in Puerto Montt or Puerto Varas. At the hotel Alejandra Gallardo- greeted us at the front desk. She spoke wonderful English, helped us get a rental car, had it brought to our hotel and organized for us to return it in Temuco 5 days later. She suggested a restaurant that had the best salmon we have ever had. She upgraded our rooms. The whole experience was five star. The hotel has great style, comfortable chic with beautiful flower arrangements throughout the hotel. The hotel you can tell needs some freshening up in terms of the flooring, some refinishing and maybe a fresh coat of paint on the outside, but the style was like you found a treasure and their service and the grounds were 5 star. Because of the service, we began an incredible week in the Lakes Region.

My stay was replete with issues. The volume of my TV did not work. The electric outlets in my room did not work. When the housekeepers cleaned the room each day, they never left towels. So I had to call reception two days in a row to request them, the phone ringing off the hook because the reception staff don’t pick up if they are talking to a guest in front of them. Reception needs more staffing. Some of the employees ant reception were rude and argued with me about certain things. Unacceptable— need better customer service training. Only staff member who was remotely professional was Jose Alfredo who helped me change rooms. I would never stay here again.

This hotel was a downer! The location was fine, that was the only positive. Despite the listing on Radisson and RocketMiles saying so, there was no restaurant. No bar. No room service. No business center. The pictures clearly don’t show that this is an old hotel. Stained carpets and smoky hallways abound. The staff at the front desk seemed way too interested in their mobile phones than in guest service! Check in was 3:00pm, which was fine, but there was clearly no early check in. We had lunch, came back at 2:50 and were again told NO. Then 10 minutes later, our room was ready. We asked the housekeeper when we saw her and she said the room was ready a few hours ago! We were assigned room 412. We went to the fourth floor and the rooms were 400-411. No such room after searching and searching. When we went back downstairs to inquire, he matter-of-factly said: “Oh, 412 is on the third floor and up the stairs in the back”. Wow! Intuitive and would have been nice to know. We had to “book” our breakfast time even though it was a buffet. We arrived at 7:30 and the tables were not even set. It is unclear why we had to schedule. Overall a disappointing stay.
