Hotel was well situated, nicely decorated and quiet & comfortable rooms. The room, the bath room and especially the balcony were very much to our liking: the balcony offered a great view towards Marienburg. Also the service by the reception was smiling and great. We were on a bicycling holiday and thus the hotel offering a room with a four course dinner package sounded very tempting. The restaurant itself looked great and the service also here was friendly and smiling - but otherwise not professional at all. It started with food having come in the wrong order as they realised only after the first course that they had forgotten to bring the appetizer. Then we had to remind them that we had ordered a bottle of water. When the main courses arrived they did not bring the wine that I had ordered for that - I reminded them of that and the person who brought the food promised to remind our waiter, I waited a while, but when nothing happened I started eating slowly so that the food would not be totally cold when the wine arrives. Having ate my food halfway, and not seen a trace of any waiters, I decided to search our waiter myself. I found him and got my wine, but again it took so long that I had already finished the main course when it finally arrived. - people from two neighboring tables shared our frustration as they had had similar problems. Having ate in a restaurant for over 500 times in my life I have to say that this was one of the worst experiences (even if the food was ok - but nor great)
