Hotel berhampiran Sillustani, Puno

Quelqatani hotel это было настоящим спасением. Мы ехали сюда из Арекипе и по дороге из 30 градусной жары нас настигла пурга и резкое похолодание аж до -5. Такой перепад был резким, шёл снег. Мы резко в автобусе переодевали вместо купальников куртки и дико замёрзли. Отель подготовлен к такой температуре. В номере было тепло. А внизу стояли кислородные баллоны, так как Пуна это высокогрный город. Мы провели здесь совсем немного времени, но были окружены заботой и вниманием. Здесь очень спокойно, просторные номера, отлично работающий вай фай и вкусные завтраки.

We stayed here for 3 nights. The staff is very helpful. They gave us an extension cord, let us check out late, provided extra heaters for the room. The rooms are clean. The water pressure is good. The water is hot. The breakfast is pleasantly nice. Coffee is good. It is located right next to the main plaza, thus surrounded by great restaurants. I highly recommend this hotel.

I chose the Hotel Hacienda Puno Centro Historico based on the location in Puno and the price and it was a great little place to stay for three nights. The location is good with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby and a short walk to the main square. The room was fine with a comfortable bed and a clean bathroom and the breakfast was ok too. All the staff were really friendly and helpful and given the location and price the hotel made for a good base.

I don’t often leave reviews, let alone negative ones, but this hotel was disappointing. First, I will say it has a good location and helpful staff. However, our two rooms had NO natural light. There was a window to an air shaft that had been tinted yellow. The lighting in the room was weak as well. We probably should have opted for a deluxe room. Every other hotel we enjoyed in Peru offered complimentary bottles of water, except this one, so it was surprising. The breakfast was mediocre. The dinner at the hotel was better. They did provide 5 minutes of complimentary oxygen, which was nice because Puno is over 12,000 feet. The hotel was clean. I wouldn’t stay here again, but it wasn’t awful.

This is a lovely little boutique hotel that is less than a 100 meters from the Plaza de Armas and Cathedral. The rooms were comfortable and quiet. They provided a space heater for the chilly night. The Stagg was very friendly and the breakfast was nice with some selections of bread, fruit, scrambled eggs and sausage, cereal, and of course coffee and tea selections. They offer coca tea too for those arriving at altitude.

This hotel is in a wonderful position on the very edge of beautiful Lake Titicaca. What a view! We wished we had had time to sit outside under the gazebo and enjoy it but were too busy going on trips the 2 days we were there.Though quite a big hotel with 70 rooms the rooms were so cosy that it felt more intimate than expected. The staff at reception were extremely helpful and the breakfasts were excellent with a wide choice of hot and cold foods and the same with the evening meals. A very pleasant experience.

The big advantage of this hotel is its lakeside location. It has a boardwalk right down to the lake. We had a lake view room, but the balcony had only one chair! There was only one chair in the room, which was not suitable for taking outdoors to the balcony. We had two suitcases and there wasn't enough floor space to open them both, without blocking access to the wardrobe. (This was billed as a superior room). The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom accessories were good. The blackout blind was useful, although we had an early start each of the two mornings that we stayed there. The bar area was cosy and the service was very friendly. As for the restaurant, we had breakfast included and we were not a bit impressed. There was very little choice of hot food and it wasn't very hot. We thought the bread was dry, but in fairness we found that to be the case in most hotels in Peru. I hate to be negative but this hotel does not live up to the Premium title. The Casa Andina in Cusco is far better.

Staying at GHL Titicaca was a memorable experience, mainly because of its stunning location on the shores of Lake Titicaca. The hotel itself is built with a rustic, yet modern aesthetic, offering guests a serene escape. The overall atmosphere is calm, making it a perfect retreat after a long day of exploring the nearby attractions. The expansive views of the lake are absolutely breathtaking, and the property's architecture blends well with the natural surroundings. LOCATION: The hotel's location is one of its strongest points. Situated directly on the edge of Lake Titicaca, it offers unparalleled views of the lake, especially at sunrise and sunset. It's also fairly close to the city center, making it easy to access nearby shops, restaurants, and local attractions. However, it’s a bit isolated, so if you want to explore the area, you’ll need to rely on a car or taxi. DINE + DRINK: The dining experience at GHL Titicaca is quite good, with a mix of Peruvian and international dishes. The restaurant has a lovely ambiance, and the staff is attentive. Breakfast is well-reviewed, offering a variety of fresh options. The choice of drinks are decent, and the hotel’s bar offers a cozy spot to relax, with mindblowing views. ROOM: We stayed in Room 200, which was a SUITE room, so this review is based on that; SIZE: Spacious enough for 2 adults and simple baggage; VIEW: Million dollar views of the magical lake; AIR-CON: Perfectly functioning cooler that helped in setting the perfect room temperature; BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part of putting us to sleep; BATHROOM:Good sized bathroom with a Stand-in shower; TOILETRIES: good quality toiletries FACILITIES: The hotel offers a solid range of facilities, including a spa, a fitness center, and an outdoor terrace with sweeping views of the lake. SERVICE: Friendly staff that cared for all our needs with a smile and made us feel pampered and well taken care of. Special Shout-out to PAUL at the bar and ANASTASIO and JOHANN at the restaurant for hosting us wonderfully!
