My friends and I stayed here for a week during our spring break and it was amazing!! Super affordable and the staff were very friendly. We were traveling with a Spanish speaker so we didn’t have much difficulty, but the staff did have varying levels of English skills which is to be expected, and it wasn’t much of a problem all in all. Our apartment was clean, beautifully decorated, and well equipped, and there was a lovely pool right outside. Food wasn’t included but everything was incredibly affordable! The Florecita restaurant was super upscale and luxurious, and the other eateries had very good food as well.
The beach was really nice too! It can be pretty windy there but I’ve heard that’s not uncommon for the Dominican coast, and it wasn’t much of a bother. Overall you get what you pay for and more. We were really happy with our stay and would return. It’s not a luxury all-inclusive but it’s really amazing quality and value for the price.
One note: it’s relatively far from attractions and Bavaro beach is about a 20 minute drive. We had to call a couple of Ubers, so if you want to stay somewhere that’s really close to clubbing and activity this is not the place. We didn’t mind though.
