Allure de Baranti

Good location, staff quite co-operative and preparations of demanded food were very satisfactory. Interior of the tents are impressive, need more care about the disturbing mosquitos. We had very pleasant stay there and enjoyed both sunrise and sunset.

Location and food were okay. However, we had to ask for amenities, eg electric kettle, tea bags, sugar etc. It was shocking that they stole our limca soap bar and soap case, which we brought from home. After we confronted the manager, mr pattanayak, the staff brought back our items. The staff even stole the toilettries provided by hotel. Never faced such an experience in any hotel in india or anywhere else in the world.

Awesome place and people, great view, average food quality and less veg options.

Stayed at this resort from 26 Dec to 29 Dec 23. We booked 3 rooms. In one word we totally enjoyed the stay. The location, ambiance, food, the behavior and service of staff was really remarkable.Thanks

Natural beauty, food, hospitality was good. Hotel arranged car for sight seeing. Behavior of each staff was good and cooperating.

Location of the resort is marvelous. One can see the hill on one side and baranti lake on the other. One can see the sun rise from the room. Hospitality is very good. Safe parking

Stated at allure de baranti (booked through mmt) from 14th to 15th aug 2023. This hotel is one of the best places to stay near baranti lake. Both the rooms we booked were on 1st floor and had lake view and partial hills view. The rooms were small but clean. The bathrooms were clean but the flow of water was extremely weak. The staffs were hospital and the food quality of their restaurant was nice. Breakfast (included in the package) was very minimalistic as compared to the prices charged. In the food bill, they charged us extra for the tea we did not consume and we ended up paying in hurry at the time of checking out. Overall, should be a nice stay for a day or two, because of the strategic location, near to lake and 30 mins drive to garh panchakot and also considering the substandard quality of other hotels nearby. We, our family of 4, stayed for 3N/4D in the calm and serene surroundings of this resort. Not only our room was facing the Baranti lake and the hills, but we could also experience the beauty of nature from the wide green lawns of Allure. Although the best time recommended to visit this region in Purulia, was spring (Feb-Mar) when the red flowers 'Palash' reign over the tree tops, we visited this place in end-June, after onset of monsoon. It was a good time to stay here, to witness the misty hills with clouds, as if hanging therefrom. During the rains, hot tea/coffee and crispies served in the room by the friendly resort staff were definite mood-lifters. A walk around the lake to the nearby tribal villages (only around 2.5 kms; local autos are also available as an alternative) on one of the afternoons was a refreshing experience. Food was simple and homely, as we opted more for the Veg meals variety. Non-Veg Indian/Chinese cuisines were also available for consumption which also tasted good. Overall it was a very enjoyable, leisurely stay for us.
