We set out from Kolkata at 0800 h on 01 Nov 23 enroute to Purulia. A member of our family was a cadet in Sainik school way back in '70s. We had stopped enroute for lunch at a Dhaba. We arrived at Pearl Tree at about 1800 h and met up at reception with Mr Gaurav and Mr Sadat. We tried to explain that this was the first time an accommodation booked via Trivago did not offer complimentary breakfast. After long conversation with Mr Sadat remarking ”You don't understand” but failing to offer alternatives. We asked him to approach his superior and seek whether ”complimentary breakfast” could be offered. Rigid as he was, we said charge us the amount Rs 300/= per head. The 5 of us were senior Veterans. The accommodation was nice. Regrettably the breakfast offered was without imagination. Overall the reception dialogue was witnessed by a Mr Vidyarthi (understand he is in Marketing and Brand Managing). We departed on AM 03 Nov 23.

Very good hotel and luxurious resort at ajodhya hills top. Unique features include clean and spacious rooms, nice food, swimming pool, garden and very polite and helpful staff. What else you will need when you are away from home.

Nice location. A vast area can be seen from the balcony of almost every room. But washrooms of the old building are very dirty. Staffs behaviour is friendly and helpful. Specially the helping boys are too much caring- specially dhiren and dipak.

The location is 4 hours drive from any of the nearby airports be it durgapur, ranchi or jamshedpur, but road conditions are good. Kushal pall i is so good & beautiful that one has to visit to experience. Service & courtesy is very good & food excellent. Wonderful experience.

Very peaceful weather, nearest from the bus stand, railway station, airport, food available here with good quality. Polite hotel manager, room service is very good, near and clean rooms. Nice place for staying with family.

For people who enjoy heritage and legacy, tulin heritage bungalow should be one of the top choices. A perfect getaway from home, this old piece of architecture underlined by age old jamindar signatures is surrounded by a rose garden, mango, guava and jackfruit orchard. Decorated with hunted heads of bisons and deer give an eerie and nostalgic feel. A rich collection of old bengali literature, carrom board, a courtyard with long red seats on red flooring calls for a lazy summer evening or a lazy winter afternoon. With multiple tourist spots within an hour drive, this should be top choice doe economic stay with delicious home cooked food, super service and safe haven

Quit good with just basic facilities, affordable cost, parking available, and there is garden alike place

We came to know about this place from a youtube video. Being impressed, I booked it for a couple of nights, and got a 5% discount also, with reference to that youtube video. The room was in the main building, first floor. One friend of mine also booked it, and he was also given the discount. But later, another friend of mine booked a tent accommodation, but he was not given that discount. At a rate of Rs. 2400 per night, a discount of Rs. 120 does not matter too much, but it gives a good feeling as a customer. Anyway, three families together we visited this place in the first week of March. Location of this so called resort is really good. Our room was spacious, but it was not as well maintained or impressive as it looked in the youtube video. The bedsheet was not clean. We asked them to change it, and it took not less than half an hour to find a suitable bed sheet. Finally we settled with a bedsheet that was smaller than size of the bed itself, with couple of holes. There were few stain marks on the wall curtain, which can be usually created if someone spits there while chewing “pan”. There was no mirror in the bathroom. Our friend, who opted for tent, had to change initially, because the AC was not working. The tent looked little shabby, though the bathroom was large. Then, in their tent, they had a ‘guest’ at night. It was a wild cat, entered through a hole. Possibly, that animal used to sleep there at night, if there was no guest in that tent. On the first day they provided half litre bottles of mineral water, but they did not provide that on the second day. Reason is not known, although they charged same money for both the days. Food was very ordinary, and I think, the price is higher than what may be called ‘reasonable’. In breakfast, they were supposed to provide 5 pieces of bread, but they served only 4 pieces. We could not get a proper answer on asking why it was so. Otherwise, food was good, especially the mutton. We did not like the fried items like chicken pakora. There was no house keeping at all. No one came to clean the rooms in our stay of 2 days / 2 nights. People are unprofessional, and they are only interested in money. Considering the level of maintenance, house keeping, etc., Rs. 2400 per night is also higher than a reasonable rate. But one good thing is that they are not arrogant. Or, perhaps, we did not try too much. We, three families went there for a 3D/2N trip, and in this limited time, we decided that we would not waste our time by complaining on every point. So, we spent our time amongst ourselves, without thinking much of the negative things. So, that is the trick. Just ignore everything, and have a peaceful stay at this place. Before going there, please check other options also.
