Coral Sea Waterworld Sharm El Sheikh

Hotel is nice enough. It’s just a bit far from both the downtown area and the airport. There are some good local food/shisha spots nearby.

We have recently got back from a 10 day stay at coral sea and what an amazing holiday we had from start to finish! We arrived late, but got taken straight to the restaurant for food and refreshments before checking in. Check in was quick and easy. The rooms were lovely, clean and spacious! The beds were so comfortable. All parts of the hotel were kept immaculate, all staff work so so hard and all very pleasant and always make the effort to say hello. Food and drinks were all lovely, we never used the main restaurant for lunch as the snack bar by the spa was lovely for lunch with plenty to choose from. We went out a couple of evenings, “Arub bucks” across the road is fab, food & cocktail’s delicious and so cheap!! Also went to “mango” Chinese restaurant just a short walk from the hotel, also lovely and very cheap. Soho square is a must! Hotel staff will sort out taxi there and back for you! We done 3 excursions, all booked through “Eslam Badr Sam” who you can find on Facebook! We done the submarine boat trip, quad buggy and dolphin show! Sam is so helpful and friendly and can’t do enough for you! We messaged him and sorted trips before we left, met him the morning after we arrived to pay and sort what days we wanted to do what, so easy and service was so reliable! Also rented a wifi box off him which was fab. We had the best holiday and coral sea and will definitely be back one day ❤️

We went on safari trip, 2 adults and a 3 year old. It was absolutely amazing. We also done the full day boat trip with scuba diving and snorkling, the scuba diving is one of the best experiences ever, the colours of the corals and the fish is amazing, would definitely recommend doing these if you are coming to egypt. We stayed here over Easter for 2weeks and had a wonderful holiday. Grounds: Beautifully kept and clean. Gardeners work hard every day. Pools: Activity pool wasn’t heated but warm enough to be in, the flooring is lining which can be slippy in places - be careful when entering. The pool is massive with a swim up bar. This is where most of the activities happen. Relax/heated pool- we spent our time at this pool as kids were allowed during Easter (my understanding is that later in the session kids are not allowed - but this could be wrong) another swim up bar with Ali and Ismail looking after the guest! (The best strawberry daiquiris) the water wasn’t very clear but we saw it being checked 2/3 times a day. Aqua park- this was the reason we came to this hotel unfortunately for my kids the pirate ship was a bit little and the big sides were all too big and dark. The the slides involved entering a dark tube so we didn’t use as much as we had hoped - that said we met plent of other children the same age who were going on the slides. The lazy river was lovely and the wave pool was ok. The lifeguards are very strict- no goggles, on the slides. No jewellery or watches. No float aids. the one time my daughter went to the top in her Aqua shoes my husband was questioned about her shoes. And another time me and a friend were questioned about our weight as there is a max weight. Beach - hotel is right on the beach and it’s stunning in my option under initialised. Has a beach bar would recommend aqua shoes. Never had a problem with sunlongers the lifeguards would help find you somewhere to settle. Room: We had a 1bedroom deluxe family room with partition. Was a great size and nicely decorated. The bathroom could do with being bit bigger for a family room but not a deal breaker. Hot water every shower and no flooding! We had a massive balcony overlooking the activity pool and beach. No where provided to hang wet clothes and towels. Beach towels are provided by housekeeping in your room and can be changed every day if you require. Food: Quality of the food was great. I did find dinners same same over the 2 weeks - plenty of beef & fish dishes. We had BBQ 4 times. They have potato corner, pasta station, live cooking station salads, breads. Pizza station. Dessert I found hit and miss. Breakfast everything was provided for you to make your choice. The beef bacon was actually really nice and poached eggs were spot on! Splash bar - quick easy food ideal for kids my favourite burgers were from here. Mermaid bar - loved prepared to order but often took a long time. Ice cream from a whippy machine was a big hit. Italian - we really enjoyed and spent 2 hours at dinner. Asian- was ok but I wouldn’t go again. Drinks: Was a bit worried about the drinks reading other reviews but found them to taste fine. Would say they are different depending on which bar you go to though. Bring drinking cups which the staff will fill
