Got a free upgrade to a room with a window, and I was so happy with it! Even though the space was a bit small, the price was really budget-friendly. It's super close to all the attractions, which is really convenient! The lady at the front desk was also incredibly helpful. Definitely recommend!

The environment and hygiene were excellent, and our room offered a view of the church architecture. The location is quite convenient, close to the Zhanqiao Pier, Qingdao Railway Station, and the church. The room itself had a vintage decor style. Overall, we were quite satisfied with our stay.

The environment and service were both excellent. We were able to check in early and also had a late check-out. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful and friendly.

Convenient location with sea views right from the room. Only a ten-minute walk to Qingdao Station, and just downstairs from attractions like Zhanqiao Pier and Zhongshan Road. The service was excellent, and the facilities were clean and well-maintained. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Qingdao.

I personally think it's excellent, not as bad as some reviews suggest. The room was tidy and spacious, and very clean. It's super close to the Zhanqiao Pier, and there are many attractions nearby. If I ever visit again, I'll definitely rebook this hotel.

The decor has a more retro style. They gave me coffee vouchers based on the number of nights I stayed, which was perfect for grabbing a cup every morning! It's about a seven to eight-minute walk to the subway station, and you can even see a church from the window. It's also only about a ten-minute walk to Dadao Island, but it's super close to Zhanqiao Pier, making it very convenient for catching the sunrise or sunset!

It’s so convenient to travel the tourist spots such as St Michael’s church. Walking to Zhanqiao Pier from the hotel takes five mins only🤗

Everything thing was excellent. Wish I would have gotten a room with a view. The bed was also super comfy. Loved the feel of the establishment.

Staff was great, hard for English speakers but to be expected when you go to a foreign land. Were very patient using translator. Room needed to be cleaned a bit more. Tile was sticky and room was extremely hot. The A/C vent was covered in dirt and when turned on initially it would spit out dirt. I paid good money for the room and would stay here here again for cheaper, just not for $125 USD..

I enjoyed staying at James Joyce Coffetel. The room was clean and spacious. The advertised “sea-view” is only a partial sea view, but still a great view to see. There are some renovations going on and lots of drilling and building noises will affect your routine if you like sleeping in late or taking afternoon naps. Thank you for the good service!

Very close to all the center social area in Qingdao. Few minutes from the port and commercial Areas. Beautiful room, good sight out the window and very clean hotel. Would much recommend
