Nice hotel with standard of Mercure. Located near Ningxia station with walk around 400-500 m. Location may not be the best but I like hotel with cleanliness, without smell of cigarettes at all, nice staffs, many covenion stores& restaurant nearby.

Staffs greeted us warmly when we arrived, we were glad that early check-in was available since we took a midnight flight and needed a short rest. The room was sparkling clean and the location is conveniently central, about 20-30mins car ride to different attractions. Overall , pleasant stay.

The hotel is relatively new and well-maintained, and we were especially impressed by the friendly and attentive service from the front desk staff, particularly Miss 徐. The breakfast offers a good variety, although the food quality could be improved. The location, however, was not quite to our preference. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

We stayed at Mercure Hotel Qingdao May Fourth Square during our trip to Qingdao and overall we were satisfied 👍 The location is excellent – within walking distance to May Fourth Square and the seaside. There are many restaurants nearby and it’s also close to the night market, which makes evening walks very convenient. The room was comfortable and breakfast was included. The breakfast had a good variety and we enjoyed it. A special thank you to the front desk and especially Manager Wang (and Manager Huang). We did not have a local phone number, and we encountered problems when booking and paying for tickets online. Manager Wang patiently helped our whole family in the hotel lobby and spent almost 40 minutes assisting us until everything was successfully settled. We are truly grateful for his kindness and patience. It made a big difference to our trip. The only small issue was that the bedsheet in my aunt’s room might not have been perfectly clean. She has sensitive skin and can easily develop allergies if the bedding is not very clean.

Had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The service was excellent, and the staff were polite, professional, and always helpful. Special thanks to Ms. Rose for her kindness and great care throughout my stay. The food was good, with both freshly cooked dishes and a buffet line. I especially enjoyed the daily noodles, salted eggs, pork floss, and millet porridge. The room was clean and comfortable, allowing me to sleep well. During winter (late December to early January), the heater worked perfectly and made the room warm and cozy. Overall, this hotel is great value for money, and I would happily stay here again.

We stayed at Mercure May Fourth Plaza for three nights during our first trip to Qingdao, and overall, we had a pleasant experience. The hotel's location is great, especially if you plan on getting around by Didi. It's slightly tucked away from the busy May Fourth Square area, which made it feel quieter while still being conveniently located for reaching most of Qingdao's popular attractions within a short ride. The hotel itself feels modern and well maintained, with all the essential amenities you would need for a comfortable stay. Housekeeping serviced our room every day, and everything was kept clean and tidy. The room was a little smaller than we had expected, but it was still comfortable for a short stay. The soundproofing could be better, as some noise from outside the room was noticeable. Fortunately, the hotel wasn't very busy during our visit, so it didn't affect our stay too much. We were also impressed with the blackout curtains, which worked very well. As light sleepers, we appreciated being able to get a good night's sleep almost every night. Overall, I'd recommend this hotel if you're looking for a modern, reasonably priced place to stay in Qingdao for a few days. It offers good value, a convenient location, and a comfortable stay for couples or short-term travelers.

It is fantastic and excellent. Staffs and all crews are very service minded. If you are treating people well, people will treat you better sometimes. We look after the room too and all amenities reasonably well too. Will stay here again when we come again and will recommend friends if they ask me. Just a little suggestion if possible, the main dishes and desserts of breakfast to be different each day or two as it gets a bit dull after 5 nights stay like us even though they are all actually delicious.
