Ulasan Minguo Hotel (Qingdao Catholic Church)

This hotel was in a very good location. It's conveniently located near pretty much all the major things you'd want to do in Qindao. It's about a 5 minute walk to the nearby shore which features a pier and a pagoda. Lots of shops line the streets, so you're never far from anything. Despite that, it wasn't noisy. The bedrooms were very clean and smelled really good. The staff were very, very friendly. Linda especially was a highlight among the staff, as she spoke English well and was so helpful. We received magnets on check in, which was a nice gift. The bar downstairs had some good beer. The breakfast however, was just ok. It was free, which is good, but the food itself tasted old. It was the only minor negative of the stay. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a place with friendly staff, clean rooms, and a good location. Just settle for breakfast elsewhere.

Nice hotel in the city Centre with small but cozy rooms. Probably more for single travelers. Great prize. Staff is friendly and speaks English. Breakfast buffet (Chinese style) included. Perfect location (middle of Zhongshan road), where lot of bars and old buildings are. Beach is also nearby. My room had new double windows - so it was despite the nightlife on the street very quiet.

My room was upgraded to Special Queen Room. The front desk receptionist very friendly. She recommended the transportation to the nearest farmers market and attractions.I will definitely come back again.

The location is goo, there are lots of restaurants, sights, the Catholic church etc nearby in walking distance. There is also breakfast included which was rather good. The room is rather small but it didn’t bother me. Thank you!

Nice stay. You get what you pay for with no surprises, which is really all you can hope for! The staff are friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. Location was great, right on a pedestrian food street, close to the subway and train station, as well as sightseeing locations.

Very Good location with simple breakfast and really surprised when came back to room after breakfast because someone was inside for make up room unexpectedly.

We recently had a great stay at this hotel.Their breakfast offered a delicious variety of options that exceeded my expectations. The room was clean and well-maintained, contributing to a comfortable and relaxing experience. Aside from that, the location is very convenient it is near to some places that you have to visit in Qingdao. Overall, the combination of excellent dining and a tidy, small but inviting room made for a memorable visit. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Decent hotel overall, 4/5. Cons: low-price rooms are really tiny, and also don't know why but AC didn't make staying there any better - still felt humid and not comfortable while sleeping even with AC on. Pros: it was clean, had all necessary stuff inside. Location of the hotel is great - next to the sea, and just couple of blocks away from the cathedral. They also got seafood cafe on first floor, and few beer stands. So, if you are in Qungdao for short stay - it's ok to stay there.

love this hotel because it is efficient and close to the train station. The breakfast, at a connected restaurant, is bad and should be avoided.

The street where the hotel is located was closed. Not sure if that’s permanent or only for the holiday. It is very inconvenient to reach the hotel carrying a big luggage. Breakfast was poor. I was looking forward to it based on the other guest’s reviews but it was soooo poor during my stay. I booked the family room and the view is bad. Old and new sheets are stored at the hallway. The shower is right in front of the toilet. It feels like I was in hong kong. Too difficult to shower. On the positive side, the location is few minute walk from the church, zhanqiao pier and has lots of street food and restaurants. The restaurant downstairs has delicious steamed fish and crème brûlée.

The location was very convenient, literally walking-distance to subway or bus stations. It's also close to the church and there are lots of food stores nearby. The check-in process for foreigners are easy and simple. The price is very affordable (we've stayed here for 4D3N for 720rmb, includes breakfast for 3 days and a coffee voucher can be taken at the reception desk). The room was small, but it's enough since we weren't staying at the hotel all day. The amenities are complete as listed on Trip.com . The minibars are free as well (including the ones on the fridge). Recommended hotel if you're visiting Qingdao!

Easy to find. Very friendly staff and great amenities. Its on a ***** that's full of food restaurants and nice shops to look at. Qingdao itself is such a vibrant town with lots of good food. Would happily come back and stay here again

The staffs regardless at the reception or the restaurant is very nice & caring. It's breakfast is great. For me is better than 4 star hotel that we have stayed in terms of taste & certain item u can't find in them. We have lunch & breakfast there in their famous restaurant. Location is located at walking distance to St.Michael Cathedral & Zhangqiao Pier... Room amenities offered better than what 5 stars will offered...However the bathroom is a bit tiny for us.
