是老房子改造的古民居，老闆人挺好，挺熱情的。可以攜帶寵物。在我外出期間，我的狗跑出去走丟了，老闆騎着小電驢到處幫我找，非常耐心，早餐有暖暖的粥。
晚上還可以和其他客人們拼單請好的師傅來表演木偶戲，大家聚在大廳裏。房間乾淨整潔沒有異味。服務也算細緻周到。

I checked in with my daughter and sister from the 20th to the 24th December 2024 and we had a wonderful experience! The hotel is very new, and the 2 rooms are impressively spacious, providing great comfort throughout our stay.
The location, though not accessible by large vehicles, is well-served by convenient smaller vehicles called ”xiao bai,” which made getting around a breeze. This thoughtful arrangement added to the charm of the place.
One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast. As someone from Singapore, I was thrilled to find my hometown breakfast featured alongside Quanzhou cuisine. The fusion of flavors was delightful, and we looked forward to it every morning.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, with a special mention to Zhuang Zhuang for going above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Their warm hospitality truly made us feel at home.
We spent four nights here and thoroughly enjoyed every moment. I highly recommend QUANZHOU WEST ST. GUCHENG ALLEY YU Hotel to anyone visiting Quanzhou. Thank you for a memorable stay!

This is a fuss-free boutique hotel with good breakfast at the older district of the city, which is a good location as it's at 2+km radius to most attractions and museums. The staff were friendly and also gave good info and advice. Besides, the hotel gift shop sold a variety of good local stuff very reasonable prices.
HOWEVER, I'll most certainly NOT book this hotel again NOR recommend it as the room itself was poorly maintained, and its cleanliness and hygiene standard were both very questionable.
When I checked in, the bedding smelt so stale with bad odour, it was like they hadn't been changing it for ages, to which they did change the bedsheets etc. after my feedback.
On my 2nd night stay, the sewage smell from the room sink, toilet and bathroom was sooooo pungent that I had to call for service 3x to try fix it to no avail.
They've offered to change my room BUT it was already so late in the night and I was so sleepy so I declined, and had to settle for moth ball smell the whole night instead as moth balls were used to combat the sewage smell in the room. I don't understand why they couldn't use room diffuser instead even though I had requested for it. I know they had room diffuser as they were using it at their hotel lobby.

I wasn't sure what to expect of a minsu since I have always stayed in conventional hotels and was pleasantly surprised with the overall stay. The room was spacious, functional and clean and had all the amenities as if it was a regular hotel. The bed and pillows were too soft for my liking but I slept like a baby every night. Only wished the 'study' table was bigger though. And do note that there is no lift but they have one for luggage, so that's still OK. It is located at the quieter side of Xi Jie and if one turns right and continue walking, you will find interesting/quaint/independent local food options and even a 'short-cut' to the 1916 Creative Industrial zone (I just followed the crowd) where I spent couple of hours exploring. Which is a nice reprieve from the usual sights e.g. Xi Jie, temples. All in all, would recommend!

Great hotel—anticipated need, provide exceptional service
When checking in, front desk 西袖provided necessary information like aircon tuning tips that makes our stay more comfortable. She also recommended a lunch place nearby that turned out to be a highly recommended eatery.
The hotel provided, besides welcome drinks and snacks, little things like dry shampoo, dental floss sticks etc in a ‘treasure chest’ very thoughtful.
Most impressive is the laundry room. It is so well equipped that many hotels pale in comparison. Besides washer, dryer that a provided free for use, they even provide free detergents, not just for machines but also hand wash. The room comes with a basin for hand washing and steamer and normal iron. It also install sofa for guest to wait comfortably. Only suggestion is to brighten the room more.
The hotel is well situated. With 5 minutes walk to Wanda. The room cost includes the breakfast and supper, thus it is not more expensive and definitely value for money. The breakfast spread is enough to cater to international palate. I also like that all the quanzhou snacks that everyone raved about is served here and quite well done.
I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting quanzhou. In fact, I myself is actively seeking out hotels of the same brand when moving to next destination

I go business trip for this round and I would like to find some new hotel in reasonable price. At the end I found this. Hotel is grand new and very convenience.
Next to hotel is Wanda plaza and there's many small restaurant and supermarket nearby. I definitely will stay in here again as the price really good.

PPengguna Tetamu如果有超五星，一定是超五星，完全看着評論預訂的，民宿在街面上位置相當好找，房間乾淨，小院很有感覺，很適合拍照，重點是～民宿的寶藏～方姐！她真的是民宿的寶藏，是靈魂，是核心，用什麼樣子的詞語都不足為過。有孩子的一定可以選擇這家，我家孩子一天到晚跟着她，去哪裡都不去了。在閑聊中得知我們吃不慣，給我準備了晚飯，我們去遠的地方玩貼心的給我帶着路上的小食，孩子發燒了，方姐跟着忙前忙後，方姐緩解了我一個帶着孩子，孩子又生病了的焦慮，很感謝她。她真的很寶藏～遇到的問題都可以找她，她幫我找的講解 幫我買的非遺的武獅，幫我代寄明信片。孩子已經和方姐成為了朋友～下次會再來看方姐

GGuntoubupahoThe hotel is located in a central prime location in a busy but relatively quiet side street, very convenient and close to everything you ever need. Plenty of attractions,restaurants, cafes and places of interest all within walking distance. We had a fantastic time here in Quanzhou with superb and hospitable weather all through the week, no withstanding the taiphoon passing nearby.
The facilities are modern, even an inhouse cafe/ restaurant which provides prompt services with near perfect tasty food and drinks. The room service on the low desk in the room made it the best and most memorable dining experience we had during the mini honeymoon. See the photos attached.
The staff esp the reception, even the cleaners, went out of the way to attend to every needs and request from us, always with a smile and highly professional disposition. I personally saw how they handled a particularly difficult client with such grace and calmness, which settled the impasse pretty promptly. I saw the client a few days later who was full of smiles, satisfaction and appreciation of the level of comfort and services she received.
I couldn't have been happier the 4 days staying and could have extended more days had there been rooms available. But I promise to return when the first opportunity avail itself.
The only suggestion I can give is to make the slippery floor in the toilet more slip resistant. Perhaps with some thin layer of anti slip mat whenever requested by more senior clients like me. I was extra careful going in and out each time, as the water ponded easily there .

PPengguna Tetamu有幸入住貴酒店，一進門就感到很温暖，特別是前台的帥哥美女們那個熱情，很有禮貌，很耐心，百問不厭。酒店還為入住客人準備了各種免費飲料，小零食，還有一些常用的東西，酒店真是為客人着想很細心。房間環境不錯，衞生很乾凈，很安靜，地理位置不錯，離景點都很近，出門就有公交車。早攴也很豐富，種類很多。下次來泉州還住這裏啊。祝貴酒店財源廣進。

ZZeederworldWe had a lovely one night stay Very helpful and friendly hosts who live in the adjoining building Location is perfect. In between West Street and Quanzhou Ancient City. About 20 to 30 mins walk to each direction.
The ginger duck dinner (10 mins walk) and taro fritter right at the back street of this mishu (both recommended by the host) were one of the best food throughout our Fujian trip. We appreciated the host allowing us to freeze our food and helped us arrange a driver to send us to Xiamen the next day. It's door to door at RMB70 per pax (if sharing the cab with others). Cheaper than didi + train + didi and less time consuming.
The room size is slightly on the smaller side but we don't mind as we were out all day. All the basic amenities needed are provided. Most important is its clean and comfortable.
As I booked using non-Chinese no and can't read Chinese, I did not receive notifications from host right after my Trip.com booking . We depended on Baidu map to guess the location after the taxi dropped us at the main road. Be prepared to walk 2 mins into small/back lane and to enter an unlock gate to enter the compound of 2/3 residential building cluster. A bit confusing for us but we managed to locate the minshu after 5 mins.
We wish we had more time for Quanzhou. Definitely worth at 2 nights. So much more to explore here.

Kami menaiki teksi ke hotel, dan sebaik turun dari bas, seorang pelayan datang membuka pintu dan mengambil bagasi kami. Oleh kerana kami berpindah dari hotel lain lebih kurang pukul 10 pagi, kami bercadang untuk mendaftar masuk sebelum keluar bermain, jadi meja depan memberi kami kad bilik terlebih dahulu. Saya harus mengatakan bahawa perkhidmatan bilik malam hotel mengejutkan saya. Apabila saya meleret kad saya dan membuka pintu pada pukul 9 malam, saya mendapati bahawa kad bilik telah dimasukkan dan penghawa dingin telah dihidupkan, saya fikir hotel telah memberi saya bilik yang salah. Saya menghubungi meja depan dan memberitahu keadaan saya dan anak saya menunggu di pintu bilik, tidak berani masuk. Semasa menunggu, saya menangkap seorang pelayan bertanya dan mengetahui bahawa bilik telah ditempah untuk kami lebih awal dan penghawa dingin dihidupkan pada suhu yang selesa Walaupun prosesnya agak menakutkan, perkhidmatan hotel itu benar-benar tidak dapat dikatakan. Dua mangkuk air gula turut diberikan yang rasanya cukup enak dan tidak terlalu manis. Tetapi saya sendiri merasakan katil itu agak empuk dan saya berasa sedikit sakit pinggang apabila bangun pagi. Hotel ini juga menghantar 2 pek biskut ketika mendaftar keluar Walaupun rasanya biasa-biasa saja, tidak dapat dinafikan bahawa hotel ini telah melakukan semuanya dengan baik dan sangat mesra pengguna.

LLauren 红月I spent 6 nights at 2208. It had been saved on my Trip.com for many months before my summer holiday, so I was happy that they had availability for the week I planned to visit.
In order of importance for me as a solo (foreign female) traveler are: location, safety, and helpfulness of staff.
1. Location: I think the location is perfect. It’s on a small alley behind West Street and directly across from Kaiyuan Temple’s west gate. This area is very central and convenient.
2. Safety: Overall, the city is safe, but in reality it is nearby a main tourist destination, so to prevent non-guests from entering there is a gate with keypad access for late night. There was always staff inside at other times.
3. Helpfulness of staff: There were some language barriers due to my lack of fluency, but the staff tried to help as much as possible to make sure I was comfortable. If there was a problem it was resolved quickly and if I didn’t understand, they were patient and tried to explain it another way.
Other than these things, I’ll say there are actually two 2208 buildings in the same area. One has a view of Kaiyuan Temple from some rooms and from the rooftop; the other seems more modern but without this view. There is cleaning service available if you need it and free water bottles daily.
If you are looking for amenities such as a television or breakfast, maybe this is not a suitable option, but if you want a place to sleep nearby the best sites in Quanzhou, and have friendly staff greet you each day, then it’s a good choice.

LLeeA warm welcome by hotel staff,Connie (小余）with fruits and was personally guided to our rm on the 2nd floor. A spacious 40m/sq rm with fascinating seaview meets our eyes. Rm was clean and not a smoking one as preference requested. A highly recommended vacation accommodation. Ideal location with walking distances to various eateries and attractions. Will be back to enjoy the facilities such as swimming pools and KTV. Staff were polite and breakfast was good with some rm of improvement. Thanks Connie and all west gulf staff.

JJo78The hotel is beautiful although the location is a bit uneasy due to the Chinese sign board. Moreover, the interior accommodation is very good. There is a fridge, washing machine, hairdryer, hotwater, toothbrush, shower gel, electric kettle, TV, spacious for two or three people because there is a couch too. It has beautiful window view and feels like a homestay better than a luxurious hotel. I love to go back here.
