Love the warmth given by the innkeepers. Being invited to join the local culture of tea drinking (or tea sipping) from morning until night is such a fun time for us. We got to chit chat, exchange knowledge and cultures. Love it. Will revisit.

We had a nice stay for 2 nights in this little, historic place in the heart of old Quanzhou. The courtyards are very beautiful. The rooms are renovated and clean. The owner is helpful. No English but this is expected in a small place like this, and this is more authentic! One thing we did not like was that they only provide one-time use shower towels that are not comfortable to use. Parking in Quanzhou is not very convenient as this is an old city. We managed to find spots about 10 minutes walk from the hotel. It was no problem for us but be aware of it.

The name "Yuqing Courtyard" evokes a strong sense of home. It's a centuries-old house; stepping inside feels like stepping back a hundred years. Sitting in the courtyard, drinking tea and chatting is incredibly relaxing. The owners, a young couple, are very welcoming, especially the wife, who looks very blessed. It was a wonderful stay, and I would definitely go back again. I loved this guesthouse!

We chose this guesthouse called Yuqing because of a golden shaded dog named Tangyuan. We heard it was a converted Qing Dynasty house, run by only a father and son, yet their warmth and hospitality were evident in every review. Since it was the off-season, the guesthouse wasn't full, and the owner immediately upgraded us to a room with a courtyard for free. Sitting in the courtyard was a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle. We stayed for three days, and every morning Tangyuan would come to play with us. The owner was incredibly attentive and helpful, even inviting us for tea. He was so kind; even my dad said we had a very comfortable stay. 🌸

The hotel has a fantastic location, right between Quanzhou West Street and Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street. The courtyard in front of the house is very tasteful, and the decor shows great care. The host was incredibly helpful in every way. We were extremely satisfied with this guesthouse.

The room was very comfortable, and the owner was very welcoming. He always helped with my luggage and even took it out when I left. I will definitely come back. The location is great, right next to West Street and Zhongshan Road. This is my second time in Quanzhou, and I will definitely come back. I really love Quanzhou! ! ! The owner's cat is super cute! ! ! !

Yuqing Courtyard Homestay in Quanzhou: The Owner's Kindness Warms the Heart More Than the Scenery This time, I stayed at the Yuqing Courtyard Homestay (West Street Kaiyuan Temple Branch) in southern Fujian, and I was deeply moved by the owner's sincerity! Because our itinerary was delayed, we were worried about not being able to check out on time. The owner proactively said, "Take your time packing, an hour or two late is fine," making us feel completely at ease. Later, when we wanted to borrow a means of transportation to explore the surrounding area, the owner readily gave us his own electric scooter, specifically instructing us, "Ride as you like, don't be shy." It wasn't until chatting with the homestay's caretaker that we learned the scooter was the owner's own vehicle for picking up his child. He had taken a special detour to pick up his child that day just to lend it to us, without mentioning it to us. This selfless tolerance and unreserved help were more unforgettable than the hustle and bustle of West Street or the scenery of Kaiyuan Temple. Next time I'm in Quanzhou, I'll definitely choose this place again!

The courtyard is very rustic and has great photo opportunities. The owner is very nice and takes good care of guests, making for a great experience.

The owner was very nice. We hadn't checked the quadruple room we'd booked, but he even helped us change rooms. Thumbs up! The B&B has a charming, quaint atmosphere, right in the heart of the ancient city. The location is very convenient, and the room was clean. There was a slight odor from the wooden furniture, but it was negligible. The glutinous rice balls were also very cute. Worth a stay!

The location is great, quiet at night, and convenient for shopping and sightseeing. The owner even upgraded the room for free.

Luxurious! Highly recommended! The owner is also very attentive 🤩 (please specify a firm pillow when ordering, and they'll be happy to discuss and prepare!) The decor is all solid wood, and the stay was wonderful (with five kids 🎊 hahaha)... Conveniently located, less than 300 meters from the pedestrian street, the place felt peaceful and cozy! The only downside is that parking requires a walk through a traffic light (about 8 minutes), and you have to pay for your own parking fee of 60 yuan per day.

The environment is great, quiet, and comfortable, making it a top choice for family trips. The owner is very welcoming, and the cat named "Tangyuan" is affectionate and will come when called, so you can pet it without worry. There are also free-roaming turtles in the dining area.

Our last stop on the trip was this guesthouse in a late Qing Dynasty-era residence, and it was a delightful surprise. The house was incredibly beautiful and clean, especially with the skylight providing excellent natural light. We could smell the fresh scent of wood as we fell asleep. The courtyard was picturesque at every turn; just sitting in the courtyard and gazing at the sky was enough to bring joy! The owners, a and her husband, were incredibly nice! Upon arrival, they treated us to tea and local cuisine! The owner's father even fed the turtles to the children in the evening and gave them cat treats to feed the kitten (a particularly gentle kitten that would come to our room to play with the children). He also brewed tea for us! We experienced the leisurely pleasure of chatting and relaxing over tea. The location was also excellent; everything we wanted to go was within walking distance! I'll definitely choose this place again next time I travel! I'll try to experience all six of their different styled rooms!
