Stayed late Oct, early Nov 23 for 3 nights. Check-in straight forward. Chinese breakfast included, real bread available. Rooms clean, comfortable, quiet and smoke free. Hotel has free laundry and tea area, but not much else to offer. From the main intersection (China Post) walk north for Starbucks, walk west for Confucian temple and Zhongshan Lu (main tourist area). Turn right here to Xi Lu (pedestrian street) for Kaiyuan temple. Back to the China Post intersection, walk South to a small river and right for Guandi temple and the mosque. Take bus 203 or 604 on Dong Lu (the extension of Xi Lu) for the Muslim cemetery and walk back to the Maritime museum, both worth a look

非常推薦，環境特別乾淨，房間很好住，前台人員服務也很到位貼心。旁邊就是西湖公園，離木偶戲劇院也可以步行的距離，點外賣會有機器人送上樓。下次來還會住這裏，比之前住的華僑大廈都好

My recent stay at Fu’an hotel was wonderful overall, with just one minor concern regarding a language barrier. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted warmly by the staff, and the hospitality throughout my stay was exceptional.
The hotel itself exceeded my expectations in terms of cleanliness, amenities, and comfort. The room was spacious and well-appointed, providing a comfortable retreat after a long day of exploring.
However, one challenge I encountered was a slight language barrier with some of the staff members. While most were proficient in English, there were a few instances where communication became a bit challenging. Despite this, the staff made genuine efforts to assist me and ensure my needs were met to the best of their ability.
Despite this minor inconvenience, I would still highly recommend Fu’an hotel to others, as the overall experience was outstanding. With its excellent amenities, convenient location, and attentive staff, it offers a fantastic stay experience.

NNitinMy wife and I spent our weekend at this amazing hotel. Our whole experience since we checked in all the way to checking out has been awesome. The front desk manager ALEX was very helpful and kind to upgrade our room from Garden view to Lake view. The room was very spacious about 55sqm and was very clean. The bathroom was gigantic with bathtub. The swimming pool at the hotel is big and very clean. There is a water park right next to the hotel which was fun and we had a very nice time. The breakfast at the hotel was delicuous especially the egg omlette and scrambled eggs. There were western and chinese cuisine for breakfast. Front desk manager Alex was very attentive and he made sure our stay was pleasant and comfortable. All the other staffs in the hotel were very nice and had smile on their face all the time, they would greet you whenever they see you in the lobby or the hallway... I would definitely visit this hotel again in near future...

AAli in ShanghaiThe place is an old mansion that’s been turned into a hotel. It has very nice architecture, with beautiful sofas, chandeliers, and other furniture and decorations.
Room/facilities:
Our room had a bathroom, a bedroom and a living room with a dining table. So there was plenty space for hanging out.
There’s an old grand piano that can be used by guests.
The breakfast was okay. But at least you can have coffee in the hotel.
There are balconies, a beautiful courtyard, and a rooftop, with many sofas, chairs, and tables, where you can relax. We were there in February, but I’m sure it’s a very nice place to relax in the spring and fall.
Location:
It’s close to old temples, and the walking street that has many restaurants, cafes, and shops to buy juice and snacks. There is a great duck restaurant close by. It was the best duck, a local specialty, that I’ve ever had.
Service:
The staff is very hospitable and helpful. They really make you feel at home. They even shared some local tea with us.

ZZuzanahThe host of the homestay is very kind and helpful. The communication was perfect. The room has a view on the pagoda. The place is right next to the Kāiyuán Temple whivj is definitely one of the highlights of the city.

The beach is absolutely amazing & it’s worth paying a little extra to wake up to the view over the sea.
There is lots of choices for breakfast both western & Chinese.
We didn’t have any children traveling with us but it was great to see some many youngsters having a whale of a time.

The hostel would send you a recommended itinerary for your stay which saves you time from planning where to go.
As this is a budget hostel, you would need to set up your own bunk bed linen during check in and check out. There is an attached bathroom in your bunk bed room. As for room's cleanliness, it all depends on your roommates hygiene civic mindedness. My luck wasnt so good.
Location wise, it's about 15 minutes of drive away from Quanzhou railway station. If you are heading to tourist spots, it's about 8 mins of walk to the nearest bus stop.
