Hotel berhampiran O'Neills, Quarteira

Hotel mewah yang sangat bagus berhampiran dengan padang golf yang indah. Ia mempunyai bilik-bilik moden yang besar dengan pelbagai kolam renang yang sangat bagus yang terletak dalam persekitaran taman tropika yang sangat indah. Sangat baik bertemu. 3-5 minit ke marina dan pantai dengan Teksi/Uber atau hanya menaiki pengangkutan ulang-alik hotel. Alangkah baiknya jika mereka boleh menambah beberapa mi soya dan lumpia ke dalam sarapan barat mereka yang sangat lazat.

My 5 stars goes to the apartments not Vilamoura itself. One of the best 3 star hotels we have stayed in A credit to the cleaners from the apartments to the public areas all spotless. Free air con included Rooms large and spacious, hob and microwave but no oven. Pool is freezing even in July but lovely once your dunked in! Plenty of sun beds. Spar around 5 mins walk. Use Uber much cheaper than local taxis reception will tell you not to use but just ignore we had no issue in 10 days , Uber for up to 4 people around 5 euros we got dropped off at restaurant il trio and walked down the steps to the harbour . Turn right by the Irish bar use the steps to the right this will bring you to a lovely square of restaurants. Vilamoura itself looks the part but I would not return. Look up and you will see the massage parlours and the **** supermarket, up the side and back streets you will see the gentlemen’s clubs and massage parlours with an atm conveniently situated outside of each. Although this will cause you no problems I couldn’t help but notice the girls outside the massage parlour, drunken men leaving barely able to walk never mind anything else ! On the back and side streets the girls do stand in the doorway calling to the men as they walk past, this will cause you no bother as they are spaced out and it’s done very discreetly, I just find it contradicts what Vilamoura claims to be. It’s easy to just ignore it and not see it if you choose not to. I’m sure it is happens everywhere I’ve just never noticed it before. The marina is lovely, food expensive nice for a few drinks sat overlooking the marina. Would never return though.

For a 3 star hotel this is excellent. We had to check out of our villa at 10am - but with a late evening flight home we needed somewhere to dump our cases and enjoy a pool somewhere for the day. We booked this (had to phone due to strange check in/out that we needed) we booked the room from 10am-7pm , obviously we had to be charged for the full day (80 euros) what a bargain! We weren't expecting much but we are pleasantly surprised (writing this sat by the peaceful pool ). Room is large and very clean - can't vouch for.comfort of bed as we won't be sleeping in them). This would make a great, value for money, base and you wouldn't be disappointed with pool and bar - we were feeling a bit deflated coming from a beautiful villa with private pool to a small hotel - but we love it! Staff are very helpful and friendly. If your looking for a good value hotel - this is it!

Before heading out to Portugal I was in regular contact with the hotel and they we're very prompt and helpful with my queries. They also organised transport from the airport which was €45 for the two of us, however, on the return journey, it was €55 as it was before 8am - something we were not advised if up front. (We later learned that you could organise an Uber or transport direct from the airport for around €25-€30, so it pays to do more research beforehand). Arrived at the hotel to be greeted by lovely, courteous staff and was told we had been given a room upgrade (we had booked a 2 bed apartment with balcony and this was upgraded to one of their 2 bed terraced apartments) - WOW! I shed a tear when we found the terrace!  The hotel also accommodated our request to be away from nightly entertainment noise - so grateful for that! The apartment was huge, clean and was very well kitted out - full kitchen, crockery, cutlerty, cooking equipment, fridge with mini freezer, hob, microwave, kettle etc, lovely lounge/diner area and two huge bedrooms, one with ensuite, and another bathroom. The usual liquid soap, shampoo/ bodywash and  conditioner all supplied by the hotel. There are 4 USB ports in each bedroom and also a 2 x 3 pin plug sockets. The hotel is situated on a busy road, and depending on where your room is, this may be an issue. Soundproofing in the apartment itself is very good i.e. I couldn't hear my husband's snoring, but even with patio doors/windows shut, traffic and outside noise is very evident (even though they're double glazed).   I found the mattress very hard, and after chasing Reception twice, a soft mattress topper was provided, which helped a lot. I had an issue with a loose toilet seat and this was promptly sorted by maintenance. Housekeeping - towels and bed linen changed every 3 days.  Bottle of water supplied every day - they will provide more if required.  We booked all inclusive and found, like a lot of previous reviews, the food to be disappointing.  It was lukewarm and sometimes very dried out.  There wasn't a huge selection of salads, desserts or mains (2 different meats, 2 fish, rice, a pasta dish, some potatoes, kids section with fish fingers, nuggets, chips etc and a vegan section with 4 dishes) and as a last resort, you could have pizza if nothing took your fancy, which happened on several occasions. Soups were mostly fish or bean/barley based but there was a nice tomato and a carrot/pumpkin soup which was nice. Desserts were never named, and a lot of the cakes contained nuts so for those with allergens, I would recommend you ask the kitchen staff as to what's in the desserts before you tuck in. There was always fresh fruit and cheese and biscuits too (again, this never varied). There was a small selection of bread and rolls, which remained the same choice throughout breakfast, lunch and dinner. This place has friendly, helpful staff, a great breakfast choice, is clean and the apartments are spacious. It is a little too far to walk to the nearest beach but it has a well-kept swimming pool and it is within walking distance to some fabulous restaurants and should be more than 2 star rated!

Checked in to ria park as a last minute booking following a nightmare end of our holiday (in a local apartment) where my youngest son and I were unable to go home as planned with the rest of our family. We had stayed a night before we arrived at Ria park in another local 5 star hotel and had a terrible experience there. From the moment we walked in to the ria park we were made to feel so safe and welcome. The room we were given was perfect, we ordered room service and it was absolutely fantastic. The hotel is so clean. We received a lovely welcome tray with some treats for my son and fresh fruit and waters. The air con was perfect, great tea and coffee facilities. Maid service so efficient. We didn’t have a chance to use the pool but was clean and lovely, lots of loungers available. We were able to get a late check out which I was extremely grateful for after a difficult week and an evening flight. Breakfast was brilliant, lots of offer and we ate lunch at the pool bar. Brilliant selection, I was particularly impressed as I was able to get a vegetarian soja bolognaise. It’s in a great location for lovely restaurants and days out. I’m so pleased we stumbled across this hotel and will be booking to stay here next year. A special mention to Marta on reception. The was just the most kind and lovely person. So helpful. Thank you!

The hotel is situated a short walk from the centre of Loule. It is a nice, clean hotel with lovely decor and friendly staff. Our room was big, clean and comfortable. The breakfast had a wide variety of choice and was tasty. The only real drawback is the view from our room was uninspiring. Overall, I would definitely stay again and would recommend it.

We had a decent holiday but our accommodation could not be described as 4 star.We were allocated 036 supposedly a superior apartment, we requested overlooking the pool and away from the road but that didn't happen.The apartment must be privately owned and rented out as most of the storage cupboards were locked.The apartment was in poor condition, door handles coming off,smoke alarm broken off,no cushions very basic and spartan.Wi fi non existant. Cleaning didn't happen every two days as stated in the info leaflet. We have been to Clube Albufeira several times but the service has deteriorated. No shuttle bus,no help with luggage and it is very hilly,not very user friendly. We have had some good holidays here but we won't be going again.aIts a shame .

It’s a good hotel near everything. Staff is friendly and helpful. If you can find a good deal, it’s definitely recommended. Just the bathroom leaks a lot when showering, which can be annoying if you’re staying many nights.

Absolutely gorgeous grounds and building, spent a few hours wandering the public gardens and the private grounds, the house and enjoying the pool. Fantastic services, delicious breakfast, lovely front of house staff. Would recommend eating dinner in the village, I enjoyed delicious dourada and wine for 10 euro at O Belo Sol. Taxi from the palace to the airport is 20 euro and takes 20 mins.
