The hotel is good, bus stops are not very far. You can walk to the center of Poetto beach in 15 minutes, and to the extreme western part by bus in 30 minutes, taking into account the waiting time for the bus. Of the minuses: It is not always convenient to get to Cagliari and back in the evenings, especially pay attention if you need to go to the airport early in the morning and decide to get there by public transport.
