The hotel is not far from the intercity bus station, but you have to climb two hills, one of which is quite steep and long. The cleanliness was acceptable; I didn't experience the issues mentioned in other reviews. I stayed for three nights. For two nights, I was at the end of the 2nd-floor hallway, and the soundproofing was very poor; I could hear traffic passing by all night. For one night, I stayed on the 3rd floor in a room a bit further from the end, and it was very quiet at night. The kitchen is well-equipped with pots, bowls, and cutlery, and there's a microwave, oven, kettle, dish soap, and dishcloths.

Excellent service and location, but temperature of water during shower is unstable.

the front desk staff was so nice & helpful , as well as the other hotel staff! only thing wanna say the entry to hotel basement parking is too small / narrow for a big car (we are hiring Mitsubishi outlander) so please be careful when cornering at the entrance! overall, spacious room, comfortable bed and convenient location & check-out (just drop a key inside a box next to the roller gate if you driving!)

Easy to find and within walking distance to the city center, but driving is easier during the evening when it is cold. Very helpful and nice people always at the reception. Free washing machine and dryer at the same building. Deck has a bit of view of the lake. Nothing to complain, except was not too sure the slippers were for re-use or not coz looked a bit dirty or not as white, so did not use them.

Service Disaster Ruined Our Wedding Morning - Stay Away We stayed here in November 2025, and the hotel staff completely failed us right when it mattered most. My wife to be needed a room for her makeup appointment, and we asked for a late checkout of just an hour. The night receptionist assured us this would be fine: if the room wasn't available, they guaranteed a private area we could use instead. The only thing was we had to check back at 6:30 AM on checkout morning to confirm. We woke up early and followed their instructions exactly. At 6:30 AM, the morning desk staff flatly refused both the late checkout and the alternative private area, completely revoking the promise made hours earlier. This was a shocking and frankly cruel way to start our wedding day. If the night shift staff didn't have the simple authority to make that promise, they shouldn't have opened their mouths. We were completely misinformed, and it left us scrambling under extreme pressure. This hotel's internal confusion and lack of care for guests is appalling. They ruined our plans and showed zero respect for a commitment they made.

Just got back from a fantastic 3-night stay at this hotel! I absolutely loved the place and how convenient it was for everything. The room was so comfortable, and having that balcony was a real treat. It was the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the views. I'd definitely recommend this hotel for a great getaway!

Walking distance to town. Bed was not flat, but still comfy. Shower stunk like mold.

Clean, comfy beds and located right in the central. 5-10 minutes walk to the heart of queenstown. Our best stay in NZ!

It was a lovely place. Kind of up the hill you may be panting the moment you reach your place walking. Walkable but you may also take bus to the Queenstown mall. Very nice overall. Love it.

The room is spacious, great views, however, the housekeeping staff were not really clean the room. They even forgot to take the dirty towel. Location wise, it's a bit uphill, although it's less than 10 minutes walk to reach the downtown area

Pros: the hotel room was really clean and spacious Location was good, really near the main shops area Cons: the hotel informed there was no parking available as their carpark was full and it was first come first serve. So guests are expected to circle the hotel vicinity for a lot when they arrive? Especially when it’s stated that parking is available onsite. Front desk staff was really rude with an attitude. She suggested street parking but I told her I wasn’t comfortable with parallel parking and she just got really rude with a take it or leave it attitude. We booked two rooms but she only gave one room’s card and I had to remind her for the other room’s card. Anyways. The hotel is a maze where we had to take lift to a different level, walk to a different building and take another lift to get to the room. Abit creepy for solo travellers. Overall; the rooms are well maintained but beware of the lack of parking + rude staff

good location. very close to Queenstown mall，about 7～8 mins on foot. clean and comfortable room with all kinds of household appliances，including oven, washing machine, dryer, four-burner induction cooker, microwave oven, electric iron, heater, fan heater……especially its very cold in july，but its warm anywhere in the suites. very satisfied.

Bed is comfortable, clean not too far from the mall.
