The first room I stayed at had a connecting door to the adjacent room. The issue was that there was a one inch gap between the bottom of the door and floor. Through this hap entered light but more impactfully, noise from the next room. I was unable to sleep for half the night as I listened to my neighbor’s television

Had a great stay at Markee. The staff was very helpful during our stay tending to the room and booking a taxi for the ride to the airport.

Very nice hotel in great location close to many restaurants and squares. Comfortable bed and pillows. Only reason for 4 rather than 5 stars is that there is a lot of street noise at night.

Rooms are very clean and All staff is extremely polite and accommodating. Had the best night sleep in ten years, king size bed was very comfortable. This building is over 500 years old and well maintained. Felt very safe walking the streets at 11:00 at night. I would definitely return.

Problem: check in was not possible until 5:00 pm I was told they only had one cleaner and that they needed more time to finsh the rooms.

We took advantage of the downtown location to walk to dinner, check out stores, and have local Mezcal drinks. It was great.
One recommendation is to add shampoo and other bath items holder to the shower, as the one there is too small.
