It is in the middle of everything. Pamela met me at the front desk. She was helpful since she knew I had just traveled for 24 hours. The service throughout the hotel was superb. Grethel, Roberto and Germathia were all delightful with meals and directions. Daniel attended to my room needs every day. There is a shuttle to the airport which is about 15 miles away from the hotel. Fabulous hotel.
We stayed here in late June after our plans to stay in Old Town were scuttled by Quito general strike and demonstrations. We found the hotel to be closer to a regular Holiday Inn rather than a Holiday Inn Express. The room and bathroom were a comfortable size. Comfortable beds and nice bathroom layoutBreakfast spread was kept hot and fresh and featured egges etc and Ecuadorian items. For the early birds there was a cart with coffee and a few breakfast snacks to tide one over till breakfast area opened. The area has a few local restaurants and a couple of restaurants next door. Many things were closed due to the general strike. But the area is a generally pleasant area with Quito's Carolina Park and Artisinal market with an 20 minutes or so walk. The telefrico a short cab ride away. The gym is on a top floor and one could use the equipment while enjoying the skyline views of quito. A nice way to enjoy a workout. Perhaps the best reason to stay here, however, is the staff. Breakfast area staff went out of their way to be helpful and get our day started on a high note. Front desk staff answered questions about the limited options available to guests due to the situation in Quito with honesty and professionalism and helpful advice. Special recognition for Maria at the front desk and German of the concierge staff for their assistance with friendliness and courtesy and above all understanding of the situation in Quito with the requirements of thir tourist guest. Not necessarily an easy task to balance but they did the job and balanced the various things in a marvelously guest friendly way and not skipping a beat in being helpful and effectively communicating with great command of English. Thanks for a good stay in difficult circumstances.
We’ve been in Quito/ LEPARC hotel for 3 days and I have to say that Domenica and Elizabeth at the restaurant/bar gave us an excellent service. Their kindness and attention were best and we really appreciate all the staff for their warm welcome. Thank you Dominica , vivir en Ecuador es un sueño ❤️❤️
I had an outstanding experience at the Embassy Hotel in Quito, and it was made even better by the exceptional service provided by the front desk agents, Diana and Luis. From the moment I arrived, they were welcoming and attentive, ensuring a smooth check-in process. Throughout my stay, they were always ready to assist with any questions or requests, making me feel valued as a guest. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located, making it a perfect choice for my visit to Quito. I highly recommend the Embassy Hotel and commend Diana and Luis for their exceptional hospitality.
High quality hotel with grand look to interior. Nice facilities; the indoor pool was decent size and warm. Cute little outside pool is joined to it for nice weather. Good size gym. Bar area is smart and comfortable. Enjoyable bar menu. Mega pizza. Restaurant nearby. Breakfast room smart and well laid out. Excellent selection of continental options alongside cooked food made to order at the kitchen. Lots to fill you up on a day out. Room was nice and big. Do miss a carpet in a room like this but it is well styled and has all you need. Bed massive with good solid mattress. Took me a while to workout the black out blind control as there are no traditional curtains. Clean big bathroom with two basins and good size walk in shower. Easy to use safe and quality coffee making facilities. Good location for a few restaurants and spotted a bar too. Supermarket up the road. Some rooms have nice views of the surrounding hills. Finally pleasant staff who are always there to help. Bar staff were great.
The hotel was very clean and in a very good location in the old town. All the staff we encountered were lovely and helpful The main parts of the hotel were beautiful with some lovely flowers in window boxes However, the room itself was very basic and could easily be improved with simple things like a shelf in the bathroom ( all our toiletries had to sit on the floor) an extra mirror and waste bin in the bedroom would have been appreciated and we only had 1 bedside table when 2 could have been accommodated The Breakfast was very hard scrambled eggs and bread and there was no choice. The juices were delightful !
Stayed in January 2024. Arrived late and was welcomed with a smile. Rooms are comfortable and quiet since mine looked out into the closed inner lobby. Breakfast was great (two eggs cooked to your liking, fruit, toast with butter and jam, juice, and coffee). The breakfast room has the nicest of views. The square where the hotel is located is lovely but it does get very quiet at night. The hotel is very safe. I did step out after dark, particularly to head to a small backstreet right behind the hotel (La Ronda), which had plenty of cute restaurants. During the day, there is no issue walking anywhere. BTW, there is a metro station (San Francisco) nearby in case you are visiting places located further away (the metro felt safe). The hotel was quiet during my stay due to the bad press around visiting Ecuador but I received white glove treatment from the personnel.
This welcoming, ideal boutique hotel is buried in the heart of historic Quito. This quaint, centrally located hotel is kept impeccably clean and rooms are nicely appointed with all the travel essentials and necessities, with nice artistic touches that give it unique character and charm. Of note, the staff were excellent in their service and English was widely and fluently spoken. Communication with the staff prior to our arrival was timely and helpful. The rooftop terrace offers views of El Pancillo and the old town - the perfect venue for your morning coffee or evening, night cap drink. Part of the terrace is also covered in case of rain. You can feel secure and rest assured for your own safety as the venue security protocols are thorough. Airport transfers can be readily arranged through the hotel. You're a short 10 min walk into the old town from the hotel. Sadly we couldn't indulge in the breakfast as we had to depart early, although the dining area looked very nice. This is a highly recommended boutique hotel that won't leave you disappointed.

PPengguna TetamuThe Fogo de Chao Brazilian-style restaurant is the only standout feature of the hotel. Otherwise, (apart from the lovely roses), it's just like any other Marriott hotel. That's not to say it's bad. The rooms are spacious, comfortable & well soundproofed. At a superficial level, it's lovely. But one feels one is being processed by a hospitality machine, rather than being welcomed as a guest. Given the choice, the Casa Gangatena is a far better option.
PPengguna TetamuThe courtesy of the staff really stood out to me. Everyone was friendly, helpful and pleasant. It was a refreshing place to stay on my return trip to the United States. From when the moment we got off the plane we were greeted at a holiday inn staff member and helped direct us to our shuttle. Getting off a plane in a foreign country is disorienting, and this was super helpful. The room had everything I needed for a comfortable nights stay, and coffee in the room was a nice way to wake up. I highly recommend this holiday inn.
CcicchiamichaelVery nice hotel with small gym. No pool. Very accomodating stall and very nice buffet. They did add to the cost for a third person which I do not think they should have done since I indicated that I will book a family room as we will have 3 persons. They still added to the cost when we checked in. Good hotel though, in a nice neighborhood of La Floresta. Diana and Gabriel are wonderful. They served us at the breakfast buffet and they are cheerful, friendly, and efficient.
PPengguna TetamuA great new hotel in Quito’s financial district, with plenty of great eateries around. The breakfast had something for everyone from cereal to toast, waffles to fruit. Staff were really attentive and always pleasant, polite and helpful. We chose this hotel as it had private underground parking, which was ideal and safe. My only criticism would be having to get the attention of someone to open the barriers to enter and leave. Thanks for a lovely stay, would highly recommend as an affordable stay in the city.
I cannot say enough good things about this place. It's close to the airport (with a free shuttle to/from the airport), extremely clean, absolute paradise and a true home away from home. Its staff genuinely cares about your wellbeing. Mauricio (manager) and Jorge (front desk) in particular are naturals in all things hospitality and made us feel especially cared for during our stay. We only planned to stay here for one night, but decided to extended our stay. So lucky to have stumbled upon this place.
PPengguna TetamuMy husband kept raving about this hotel. Ignore any negative reviews you might spot here. Front desk staff were attentive and pretty fluent in English (although it’s presumptive to expect that wherever we travel). The hotel is on a quiet street for Quito and had double-glazed windows (unusual in this temperate climate) so it was super quiet. I got there at night and closed the heavy drapes; only in the morning did I discover there were blackout shades, too — a nice touch. Abundant hot water (not always a given in Ecuador) and a spacious room. This hotel felt very luxurious to us. The pool and workout area, which we did not have time to use, was amazingly well appointed. Breakfast buffet was pretty varied and phenomenal as well. We felt pretty spoiled staying here. When we were there the English Ambassador and his entourage were also staying there, so I think it’s considered to be a pretty good place.
The staff are professional, and friendly. one of the part of the hotel is quiet, but the other part is bustling, probably needs a little station with the windows. The breakfast is good and healthy, the coffee is local and good.
First, the rooms are huge, comfy and outlook the street below. Great pool and massage services.. the restaurant serves the best food around, eat there most nights and the bar makes the best mojito. Staff is nice and rooms are very clean. A couple issues with reception desk, they lost our laundry and then found it, just had to remind them, the key card kept not working and having to go down to complain
Kkathy hEstephania was a wonderful server. Juliana was super duper too. The front Desk was accommodating at all turns. Lots of walking trails metro station across the street. Restaurants were all about the streets. In the middle of the city and near the metro
