酒店環境不錯，類似國內的亞朵和全季。地理位置優越，旁邊有中餐館。早餐很好吃！ The hotel environment is good, similar to the domestic Atour and the whole season. The location is excellent, there is a Chinese restaurant next to it. The breakfast was delicious.

A great new hotel in Quito’s financial district, with plenty of great eateries around. The breakfast had something for everyone from cereal to toast, waffles to fruit. Staff were really attentive and always pleasant, polite and helpful. We chose this hotel as it had private underground parking, which was ideal and safe. My only criticism would be having to get the attention of someone to open the barriers to enter and leave. Thanks for a lovely stay, would highly recommend as an affordable stay in the city.

Very helpful and friendly staff and many spoke English. Our room was in the ”modern wing” which had posted signs in the hallways asking that you keep quiet. Filtered water was available from 5-gallon jugs at multiple locations in the hallways. The room itself was very comfortable. The bathroom area had two sinks, plenty of counterspace, and separate ”rooms” for toilet and shower. Room also had a safe. No A/C but windows did open -- and there was an overhead fan. You are able to close the window when sleeping and able to block much of the noise from overhead planes. Had two sets of blinds to block out any light. The grounds were well manicured and attracted various birds, to include the gorgeous Vermillion Flycatcher (see photo). At least three Llamas roam the grounds and the friendly house-cat, Sylvestre, stopped by to say hello several times (we sought him out the 2nd night). The restaurant had a large dinner menu and offered a nice selection of local dishes that were freshly prepared. We ate two breakfasts - buffet style; fresh fruit, cereal, breads, cold meats and cheese plus hot items (scrambled eggs offered each day). At one end of the parking lot there is access to a nice trail and the neighboring farm - we walked around this area and felt safe at all times. While we had our own airport-transfer organized, the hotel does state that they offer this service. It's about a 20-25 minute drive to the airport. For bird-watchers, there is an eBird location called ”Hosteria San Jose de Puembo.”

Really good experience. From the start people super friendly and felt welcomed. Excellent service and location. Although is located in a busy street and area, there is security and really close to malls, restaurants, banks, supermarket and also a nice barber shop next to the premises. Breakfast to die for. Will definitely recommend.

Excellent service.Staff in all areas ready friendly so kind, educated and helpful in all matters.The cleaning and if the room and all the things are so neat.The restaurant excellent, they present a delicious menu , breakfast buffet always ready on time and variety, omelette my favorite and the natural juices. I will recommend this hotel in Quito to my friends, collages and family for future travels . Thanks to the staff for everything during my week in Quito.

Hotel Residencial el Viajero more than met our needs for a clean, safe hotel close to the Quito Airport with shuttle service for an evening arrival followed by a super early morning departure. Our host was in the arrivals area holding a card with our name when our flight arrived, even though our flight was several hours late, and we joined a small group of students and teachers also staying at the hotel on the short shuttle ride to the hotel. Our small room was clean and comfortable, with a hot shower, and the next morning our wake-up call was right on time as was our 5:30 am shuttle to the airport (reasonable fee). The folks running this hotel are super nice, and very reliable - highly recommended!

The Suites Metropoli may not be as stunning as some of the really fancy hotels one can find in Quito. It's a bit more quaint, much smaller. It is also far better - at least for anyone looking for a really great experience where you don't need to rely on tour groups, can get private (and amazingly knowledgeable and caring drivers - including the owner who is one of the kindest and most caring people you'll meet, so much so that it's hard to think of him as simply 'the owner'; he is someone very open-minded, intelligent, worldly and will take guests to amazing places in his car - a personal touch you'll find no where else. The rooms are quaint - they aren't these massive luxury rooms of some hotels - but they are what you actually want (you just don't know it yet!). It's a very 'authentic' experience - a place where you are made to feel at home, a place where you can learn and experience Quito and Ecuador at your own pace, and in a way that allows you really do things you want, with great guides you'll come to consider friends almost immediately. You won't get stuffed on tour busses and forced to experience things as a 'typical tourist' who isn't really immersing themselves in the country - a real shame for one of the most incredible places on Earth. The hotel is near the top of part of the upper city, close to Pinchincha, and you can see the entire city, Cotopaxi and other volcanoes from your windows - you'll really be on top of the world. If you are only staying a day or two, then this may not be the right place. If you want to actually experience Quito, Cotopaxi, Mindo, the Amazon, Guayaquil, etc. without being wrangled into tourist traps and with just those people you want with you, with incredible guides then this is where you have to stay. You can stay in grand hotels that try and keep you in, and not experience the city if you want - but if you are someone who isn't the 'tourist' that wants to just do the 'big hits' really quickly then you can't do better than Suites Metropoli. The owner, Santiago, also has some Air BNB's - and if you are looking for something a bit bigger, more private without feeling like you're in a hotel in Chicago - if you are visiting Ecuador from Europe, the US, Canada you can find fancy hotels that are designed to be ridiculously over the top anywhere - and if you are going to Ecuador for that experience, you aren't going for the right reasons. This is the diamond in the ruff, an incredible place that you'll love. It has served as a hotel for diplomats and foreign officials over the giant hotels for a reason. And I leave you with an anecdote to show you how great Santiago and his staff are: we wanted to go to a real touristy part of Quito. We asked him to get us a taxi - he refused! Now, why is that good? Because he refused due to a dramatic increase in crime against tourists in that part of Quito - he wasn't willing to help us go somewhere alone where he thought we could be in danger. This was truly one of the most amazing places I have ever been. The rooms were very nice and well kept, and the staff were so so friendly. They made us three amazing meals a day - plus two snacks in between - and were always willing to explain new meals to us and to show us fruits we’d never heard of before. The grounds are super nice - there is a small soccer field and a sports court that has a volleyball net and basketball hoops, plus a rec room with ping pong and pool tables, which was so much fun. I desperately hope to be able to go back again :)

我們沒有預訂酒店接機，正好碰巧遇到酒店接機的車，就送回酒店了，太太太幸運啦。機場距離酒店非常近，坐了好幾十個小時的飛機✈️衹想趕緊到酒店休息哈哈。酒店工作人員都非常熱情友好，大堂放着一大束玫瑰花🌹很美，我想我還會再次入住温德姆。之前在海南也住過温德姆酒店，服務也是很好，大集團的管理很棒！對了我們去餐廳用餐，服務人員都很熱情介紹，菜餚味道很好👍，坐在大大的落地窗前，吃着美味的菜餚，是人生很幸福的時刻。希望酒店越辦越好

The courtesy of the staff really stood out to me. Everyone was friendly, helpful and pleasant. It was a refreshing place to stay on my return trip to the United States. From when the moment we got off the plane we were greeted at a holiday inn staff member and helped direct us to our shuttle. Getting off a plane in a foreign country is disorienting, and this was super helpful. The room had everything I needed for a comfortable nights stay, and coffee in the room was a nice way to wake up. I highly recommend this holiday inn.
