Valamar Bellevue Resort

First visit to Croatia so didn’t know what to expect but this hotel was one of the best I have stayed in for an all inclusive holiday. We travelled with TUI and were met at Pula airport by a friendly driver to travel to the hotel which is approximately 40 minutes from the airport. The check in at the hotel was quick and friendly by Bruno. We had a beautiful sea view from the 4th floor. As a family of 4 including a 12 & 13 year old it’s increasing difficult to get a family room with proper full size beds for the children, no problem here at the Bellevue. The bathroom is a different layout to normal and you need to like each other as it’s not very private as it has frosted glass but it was fine for us as a family. It looks newly renovated as does the whole hotel. The hotel has many steps but there are lots of lifts. There are 3 pools, we struggled to get a sun-bed on the first day which was a weekend but it was fine after that and there are lots of umbrellas as well. The views from the infinity pool are amazing and look over to the island of Cres. The sea is so calm. Two slides in the main pool kept the children happy. The all inclusive food was fresh, lots of salad, grilled fish and meat. The pizza is made in a stone oven and was very popular with my children. The drinks are self service with soft drinks, red, white and beer on tap. White wine very good, red not my favourite but ok. Coffee machine with good coffee at all meals. After a week of all inclusive it does get a bit repetitive but not the hotels fault. Tables are cleared regularly and the chefs are always out looking at the food on offer. There was no evening entertainment the week we stayed, I think I saw that starts in June. We occupied ourselves with UNO so maybe take some games to keep children busy. There is a tourist train that takes you into Rabac town, we enjoyed it but the driver was a bit grumpy! It was 12 euros each way. Beautiful views and a few shops and restaurant all with views of the sea. We felt very safe and would definitely return to this hotel and recommend it to family and friends.

Amazing resort. Incredibly clean and well run. Very helpful staff. Most enchanting views across the bay. Food was delicious with good variety (the local Istrian fare is fantastic). Beautiful beaches and swimming pools. Easy transfer from airport. Lovely walk into Rabac. Minor *******; Drinks not great (beer OK, rest not so much), pillows uncomfortable, some bar staff seemed miserable. Not sure why some pools have saltwater. Evening entertainment for adults was lacking but perhaps as not in high season. Overall: 5* stay and we would love to return!!!

Great rooms, restaurants, stuff and activities! Enough parking spots near hotel/resort. Helpfull and nice workers. Cleaning rooms daily. Alot of pools, activities and places to see inside resort. Great for family vacation with children. Great food with so much choice.

We spent fantastic two weeks here. It's an ideal place for families with little kids. The rich entertainment program for kids (Maro Club, kiddie pools) as well as for adults (live music) is top-notch. +) The staff are super friendly and professional +) The all-inclusive buffets leave nothing to be desired +) The whole resort is very modern, clean, and beautiful +) The surrounding area is beautiful Minor things that are not meant to detract from the excellent overall experience, but are pointed out in the name of perfection: -) The 'no reservation of the pool recliners' policy should not be just announced, but also enforced . Guests, unfortunately, tend to rush to the pool recliners in the morning... only to disappear for hours. -) Healthier soft drinks for kids (real orange juice?)

Excellent Resort. Clean and modern. Located in a beautiful environment. Friendly staff. Variety of food under the all-in option is great. Fantastic swimming pools.. the view from the infinity pool is amazing. We had some issue with the airconditioning in the room... temperature could not be regulated, only centrally. It had to do with the switch-over between heating and air-conditioning. For those who love to play tennis, there is a club at 10 minutes walk with 14 courts. Around one hour drive from Porec & Umag etc. We had a great time!

Very very kind personnel, excellent animators, high cleanness standards and ecxellent food :) We especially liked variety in pool area, and found pleasure for all of us. Spa center is also very good, indulge to some treatments together with your children ;)

The place is amazing, super clean ( like Japan), staff are friendly and always helpful with big smiles. Lots of facilities for kids, and fun events for them to bond. The sea views are surrounded all bars/restaurants/pools with an en easy access to swimming. The resort is super green which make it unique. Food and all inclusive option is good way to rest from home duties. Staff are speaking many languages such as English, Italian and German- always saying hello and being very helpful. Will come again!

Excellent facilities and service. High quality drinks and food and very clean I would highly recommend this resort. All inclusive food and drinks are good plus there is a wide range of premium offerings. Multiple activities available for all age groups

Amazing feather pillows! Lovely staff and the views from the pool are beautiful! A perfect location for those looking to get away from everything and relax as very remote. This was unexpected but has worked out perfectly now for us. Thank you 💚
