Very good hotel if you wish to be near the airport. A lot of local restaurants nearby and the shuttle bus runs regularly.

We liked the hotel, great breakfast the only complain is the attitude of the manger there, she was so rude and seem to be upset about the bug bed and we requested to change new room. We got the room changed but with a very bad attitude of the manager. So sad we like the rest of the staffs there. The location is perfect, unfortunately we won't stay there again.

I thoroughly enjoyed my one-night stay at this hotel before my day-long-haul flight back to Australia. The room was spacious and I recommend booking a room with the airport view - this was a huge plus! I sat and watched the planes, being an av geek as I am.
The room was large with separate areas for the bed and the dining area and had a nice bathroom. I didn't like the shower over the bath though - just a minor thing...at my age, I could slip getting in and out of the thing!
The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The foyer area was magnificent! I loved the grand piano and the music provided during dinner - there was no need to go outside the hotel for drinks or food.
I will sure stay there on my next trip to Thailand and avoid the chaos of Bangkok for a few nice peaceful days!

The hotel is a great place to stay, especially if you're just there for airport purposes. We got in late, around 9:00 PM and the restaurant was open, and we had a lot of great food!

They do their absolute best to provide a top notch experience.
We had one issue where there was a loud noise which occurred around every 10-15 minutes in our room and mosquitos. It was about midnight and every time we went to go to sleep, it happened again, waking us up.
The first maintenance guy brought bug spray and listened for the noise but of course didn't happen while he was there, (he didn't stay long enough!) so the manager called and we were insistent. So he sent two more hotel staff for "as long as we wanted them to stay" and we all ended up sitting in the room quietly until it happened again.
Finally they heard what we were talking about and made efforts to repair it - something in the AC duct.
Anyway, they sincerely do everything they can to ensure a great stay. I'd go back, but make sure they put in mosquito plugins!

What I really like about this hotel is that there is a crystal restaurant that offers variety of food on their menu. I am a strict vegetarian and I had so many options to choose from. There is also a tour guide who is very friendly and offers a great deal. In addition to this, airport shuttle operates 24 hours and they pick up for free from the airport to the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel if you want to stay close to Suvarnabhumi Airport.

Siam Mandarina Hotel has improved since August 2023 with the addition of anti-slip carpets on every bath tub but the rooftop is still not open for plane-spotting, and shaver has to be requested for use from the reception. The hotel has expensive transport transfers to Don Mueang Airport and other city destinations in Thailand but the return airport transfers to Suvarnabhumi are complimentary. The hotel restaurant Crystal Restaurant now sells different types of ice cream, thus making dining pleasurable. I like the windows allow me to view the airport runway except the far distance of flight landing. I will stay here again if I am sure the aircraft takes off from Suvarnabhumi towards the right direction.
