Hotel berhampiran Bildstock, Randersacker

Stayed here on night in May. Hotel is tricky to find and we ended up asking some locals who told us we were in the right place but had driven past the entrance a couple of times! There is a tiny sign on the wall which is easily missed. Hotel has parking right outside and we got a place no problem. Our room was spotless and spacious and nicely furnished. We arrived late and the hotel recommended a restaurant two minutes walk away called the Spielberg so we walked round. From the outside the place looked empty but when we went in was heaving so we felt lucky that they found space for us on the end of a table. Neither of us speaks much German at all and the hotel has no menus in English but a very helpful lady from behind the bar came and sat with us to help. We ordered schnitzels and drinks and sat back to soak up the atmosphere which was fantastic. The restaurant is obviously very popular with locals with many family groups. The food was delicious and I can't recommend this place highly enough. A short walk and were were back at the hotel and we both slept like logs. Breakfast was really good with scrambled eggs cooked to order and a nice selection of meats and bread and a pot of coffee. Lovely small, well run hotel, we would definitely stay there again.

Well, one hostel had to be worst of my trip. I just wish it hadn't been quite SO bad. I could talk about their deceptive business practices. I could talk about the horrendous customer service. I could talk about the outrageous price. Instead I'll just say this. How on earth does a hostel only open their reception between 6pm and 8pm? You literally have two hours where you're allowed to check-in. Your train arrives at 4? Tough luck, gotta wait. Had a delay and arrived 8:30? Thanks for your money, but you ain't sleeping here. They don't even have a phone number in case any of their current guests have a problem. Lost your key or someone stole your wallet in the middle of the night? Good luck finding a bench to sleep on. They say it's because of covid, but covid exists in all of Europe. Are all the other hostels in Europe also closing at 8? Right, didn't think so. The reality is that this is because the manager is a cheapskate with zero regard for their guests.

Zu teuer, null Service, schlechtes und unausgebildetes Personal, dazu ein umständliches, kompliziertes, unübersichtliches Buchungssystem zu dem leider nur wenige Menschen wirklich erkennbar den Durchblick hatten. Ausnahme - die Mitarbeiter von der Zimmerreinigung (top, höflich und gründlich!). Weiter erwartet einen Gast ein sehr spartanisch eingerichtetes Zimmer ohne eine Möglichkeit seine Jacke / Anzug oder Hemden aufzuhängen, weil kein Schrank bzw. wenigstens ein paar Kleiderbügel vorhanden sind. Über das französische Bett wurden wir im Vorfeld informiert. Dann erhalte ich noch eine eigenmächtige Zimmer-Abrechnung mit falschen Rechnungsanschriften. Reklamation nicht möglich! Sehr viel Unprofessionalität für einen deutlich zu hohen Zimmerpreis 164,-EUR!!! Das Frühstück erfolgt dann wie in einer Mensa-Kantine mit Tablett, Teller u Tassen sowie Besteck selbst einzusammeln, um dann in einer schmucklosen Bahnhofshalle sein Frühstück einzunehmen. Selbstverständlich stellen (fast) alle ihre schmutzigen Tabletts in den Sammelcontainer. Da rettet auch der Begrüßungsdrink nicht hinweg. Kaum Personal und ein Glücksfall, wenn dieses dann auch noch deutsch versteht. Bevor mir MOXY wieder erklärt, dass sei ihr ganz eigenes Konzept und hilft „weltweit“ einheitlicher agieren, dann antworte ich darauf: Konzept auf ganz niedrigen Niveau und total überteuert! We traveled as a family to Wurtzburg for 2 nights. It's your typical chain hotel but there were two issues for our family. 1. The shower was a danger zone. You had to climb over the tub and there wasn't much of anything to grab onto except the towel rack. It had a partial glass door on the tub so you couldn't grab that as it moved. To add to the danger, the bathtub floor was slippery. Three members of our traveling group are seniors, but even younger me felt unsafe getting in and out. 2. If you are driving a larger car like we were and are not an experienced European driver then both the surface parkade and underground parkade are not suitable. Thankfully there was a huge parking lot just across the street and down a very short way. The breakfast was very good, they had lots of variety. The room was clean, and the location was great. For dinner, we went to the beer garden across the street and it was very good. If it wasn't for the dangerous bathtub situation, I would have given this hotel 4 stars.

This hotel is so good, one would never want to leave. The Eagles should rename their hit song Hotel California into Hotel Belle Maison. It has everything a spoiled guest would love to discover in a hotel. Every single detail is a definitive 100% score. I will return no matter what and it will be for more days. Is is amazingly clean, it has an atmosphere welcoming you because everything comes from the heart of Michaela. She is the sunshine and the soul of the hotel. Her energy is breath taking, and her smile is enchanting. My guess is that this hotel is her vision and I wonder why there is not a chain of hotels called Das Kleine Hotel under her supervision and guidance. A huge success is guaranteed. She clearly knows her business and also what a guest really wants. Many hotels could learn from her professionalism and her heart for details. I had a double room to be used by myself. The bathroom is modern with accents of a romantic era long gone by. The bed is excellent and the details are there to be absorbed by the guests. The price range is very okay, and even below from what I expected. In the morning a 'Reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet' will tickle your senses. That royal, and healthy breakfast will wake up your spirit and give you enough energy to jump quite happily into the daily affairs. I must have been in over 150 hotels in my life. This one is in my absolute top 5. And be aware I have been all over Europe, the USA f.e and many other countries. I know what I expect from a hotel and this one has the ultimate wow effect. Like Arnold Schwarzenegger once said; 'I'll be back.'

Das Hotel ist in die Weinberge gebaut und hat uns optisch nicht gefallen. Gut mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel zu erreichen. Zum Stadtkern nach Volkach ist es zu Fuß zu weit. Freundlicher Empfang an der Rezeption. Jedoch wurde die Lage des Zimmers nur erklärt um dann selbst - ohne Hilfe beim Gepäck - auf das Zimmer zu gehen. Zimmer sind ausreichend groß und ansprechend gestaltet. Auch ein sehr großer Balkon zu den Weinbergen. Leider nur ein ganz, ganz kleiner offener Schrank vorhanden. Doppelbett gebucht - zwei zusammengeschobene Einzelbetten bekommen. Zimmerreinigung nur wenn Karte an der Tür hängt - und es dauert lange bis es gemacht wird. Wenn man dann wieder im Zimmer ist, wird man gebeten in der Zwischenzeit auf den Balkon zu gehen. Auch keine frischen Handtücher... Spa-Bereich sehr schön, besonders die Schwebeliegen sind sehr angenehm. Schwimmbereich mit Massagedüsen schön und ausreichend. Saunenbereich schön. Frühstück: sehr guter Kaffe in verschiedenen Variationen, Säfte gut, gute Käse und Wurstauswahl. Die angebotenen Lebensmittel sind gut aber es gibt nichts besonderes (kein Lachs, kein Glas Sekt). Das Hotel ist noch sehr neu und möchte modern wirken. Im Ganzen war der Aufenthalt ”Okay” aber mehr auch nicht.

Für mich ein perfektes Business Hotel mit hohem Wohlfühlfaktor, allerbester Schlafkomfort, sehr geräumige Doppelzimmer, sehr empfehlenswert
