Hotel berhampiran Karlsruher Tor, Rastatt

Good hotel for a stopover. Comfy room. Breakfast not available on hotel currently but breakfast to go was provided. This was a large breakfast with two rounds of sandwiches, yoghurt, fruit, cake, fruit juice, etc. Fed us for breakfast and lunch so excellent value.

Dans une ville aussi chic, c'est miracle de trouver un hôtel si abordable ( prix et situation ! ). Quelques minutes ( à pieds ) seulement pour récupérer le centre ville historique ou ses promenades bucoliques le long de l'Oos. La chambre est ou semble petite par la faute d'un lit aux dimensions démesurées ( 2m x2m) qui domine tout l'espace. Mais bon, il est super confortable !! La Télé est nulle. Mauvaise réception, 150 programmes en mémoire mais une trentaine accessibles ( je sais, on n'était pas là pour ça !) L'ensemble accueil/réception/salle de petit déjeuner perd de sa superbe au moment du rush matinal ( effet cantine garanti). Service bar/snack nul . Pour le snack 3 pizzas ou rien , pour le bar c'est ( histoire vécue ) : 1er soir, 2 fonds de 2 bouteilles en choix en vin blanc, 2ème soir, plus aucun choix dans ce même vin ! Mais, il est où le fournisseur ? Bon petit déjeuner. Parking disponible mais vite rempli . Personnel charmant mais vite dépassé (décidément). Bonne adresse cependant.

Fantastic and very unique hotel, in a very quiet but convenient part of the town. On arrival the receptionist was super helpful with information, and directions. The rooms are very large and have good facilities, very nice decorations & very modern facilities. Breakfast was an excellent huge selection of food and drinks, work very friendly staff serving it. In a lovely breakfast room setting. Fabulous

Ottima posizione in pieno centro e vicinissimo alle famose terme della città. Stanze molto ampie e pulite. Parziale fornitura di set per bagno. Accoglienza e cortesia del personale alla reception. Disponibilità di parcheggio a pagamento. Disponibilità di wi-fi e TV in camera.

We have chosen this hotel based on very good views and comments from other guests and off course the location of it . The hotel is located at the heart of Baden-Baden, walking distance to the park , different restaurants, cafe's and shopping area. We selected comfort room with double bed ( means two beds pushed together) whichwas spacious . Luckily, our room was with view to the park and square area. Thank you to the receptionist lady ( we do not remember her name ) . The room unfortunately does have a lock from inside or Door Security Chain Lock which feels un-secured . The iron and iron table is not available in the room but only on request. The breakfast was nice but was not with many varieties of food . The staff were friendly . The breakfast costs € 28 per person. There is a parking space available in the hotel which costs € 25 per day .

Had a 6.00am flight out of Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden airport at the end of our short break, so this hotel was brilliant. It is literally across the street. The 285 hourly bus from Baden Baden takes you to the doorstep. Quick registration and we were up in our room. Clean and spacious - no frills; it is just to stay one night before or after your early/late flight. One complaint.... the mattress was as hard as nails. Considering you only pay for hotels like these to sleep the night, it is always a mystery to me why hotels don't invest in a proper high quality mattress.

Hotel is closely located to the Messe Karlsruhe and easily accessible by public transportation. The look and feel of the hotel is modern in overall and is nicely done (floral-themed), the rooms clean and nicely furnished. Overall nice stay. However, two things we weren’t pleased about and also heard other people complain about: This hotel is not accepting any cash but cards only. For guests from abroad, even small bills needed to be paid with card and commission usually apply for each transaction. Totally get the thinking of the cards-only policy but it definitely is not guests-friendly at all. The other thing is that we forgot to bring our travel adapter. Not the first time but in all previous hotel, we have also been able to borrow one from the reception. From a hotel which is located closest to a venue like the Messe Karlsruhe and with almost 160 rooms, we would’ve expected that they are prepared with a few travel adapter. Fact is: they have not a single one. As said: overall nice stay and we would probably book again, if we’re going to visit the Messe Karlsruhe but otherwise, we would definitely look for another hotel.

I have chosen Radisson Blu based on my many experiences with the hotel chain I gained in USA before pandemic, boy was I wrong to chose them in Karlsruhe. The room was clean and as on the photos, in order and ready to be used - that's about it. At the arrival I have informed the receptionist we don't have a reservation but that I could do it online right away, she promptly offered to do it herself, when I asked about the price difference I have been told ''it should be more or less the same''. Her booking was 151 euros, the online was 71 euros.. so I booked online with my phone right in front of her. We needed to leave early in the morning so we were happy to learn the breakfast is 6.30am so we confirmed our attendance. When we presented ourselves at the breakfast 6.30am sharp we have been told there was an error and it will be served later. So we waited, when we were allowed to access the breakfast the staff lady realized our room number have not been charged for the breakfast, we offered to pay at the check out as the wallet was in the room upstairs, unfortunately the lady would not bend the rule and insist on the payment before consumption. Early morning, with a hungry 7yo, after waiting already because of wrong information provided, that's not what you want to hear. Fast forward, we are about to leave just to learn the parking was not part of the deal - 17euros from 9pm to 7.30am. Unfortunately the whole experience was not over, my daughter forgot her stuffed animal in the room, when I called the receptionist asking for options on how to get it (we were hours of driving away) I have been told they are ok to hand it over to a currier if I organize one. I am genuinely asking myself if Radisson Blu is still in hospitality business, the complete lack of focus or consideration of client's needs is just striking. I have provided my review to the Radisson Blu directly using the platform I booked with, they came back with automatic answer telling me they have ''taken care'' of the issues signed. I won't come back and I won't recommend.
