It's a great place tucked inside forest like area. About 15mins drive from city center. The resort is spread over a large area, full of trees and provides for a quiet ambience amid nature. Rooms are clean, comfortable and have balconies offering a view of the forest. Restaurant serves good and reasonable food But is only thali (Fish/Chicken/Veg) and needs to be ordered an hour in advance. The staff is super good - very polite and ever ready to take care of any of your requests to ensure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable

This resort is situated about 10 mins before the Guhagar beach with the entry signaled by a board right on the highway. The place itself is massive, bordering a beautiful and serene lake. The location just can't be more beautiful. The property itself is laid out very well, with rooms right alongside the lake, with a massive garden in the center bordered by cottages on the right. The staff here are very helpful, right from the reception to the kitchen. The breakfast spread was good, although I would definitely recommend bringing up the quality and quantity of the rest of the meals as they were just about ok. Also, if possible would recommend introducing maharashtrian thalis in the meal as options as that would complete the konkan experience. A small adventure park for the children right inside the premises, with a sperate parking make this a complete stay.

property is nice but seems shortstaffed due to off season, rooms had issues with mobile network as property in outskirts but all they were facing wifi network issues , so no connection with outside world… food / restaurant staff was very good and supportive… as property is quite big & covered with trees , visibilty at night is very low when trying to move within the property… they have lights on walkway but located at bottom hence very less illumination, it would be handy to carry torch light… overall nice and comfy stay as property is located at malgunda beach
