Hotel berhampiran Griesschlucht, Reichenbach Im Kandertal

We stay here for 4 nights with a group of friends. It is not far from Interlaken West station (lee than 10 minutes walk) It has nice room, comfy bed but a little soft and fluffly pillow. The location is quite good, near supermarket and restaurants. Nice staff. Very good breakfast. It provide a lot of amenities with 2 bottles of mineral water everyday. Also have common room for guest's leisure and have some snacks.

Nach vielen Jahren kamen wir wieder mal in die Jugi am Tunersee. Der Kontakt war schnell hergestellt und die Antworten kamen im Vorfeld rasch. Wir wurden herzlich begrüsst und das Team bemühte sich, dass wir uns wohl fühlten. Zwar war es in der Jugi etwas frisch (eine Heizung gibt es nicht), aber das wussten wir schon. Die beiden Essen (Abend und Frühstück) waren sehr grosszügig als Buffet aufgetischt worden. Einzig das durchsetzten der Nachtruhe wünschten wir uns am Abend. Denn im Stübli wurde noch sehr lange und laut gespielt. Aber sonst kann ich diese Jugi für Romatiker/Träumer, aber auch als Ausgangspunkt für das Berner Oberland sehr zu empfehlen.

quelle belle découverte ! L'élevage de truite, la clarté du lac et la découverte de la dame immergée avec l'aide du navigateur !!! Avons pris le repas sur la terrasse, divine salade et truite. Le personnel très accueillant, service agréable. Bel endroit pour marcher dans ce petit boisé quoique un peu difficile pour personne à mobilité réduite. Certes le lac est petit mais bon c'est une attraction, il y a des endroits pour faire un picnic, de confortables grandes chaises de bois pour se relaxer en admirant cette belle nature. Effectivement il y a un prix d'entrée et pour le stationnement mais bon c'est les vacances. J'y retournerais avec plaisir.

The hotel is located about 650m from Interlaken West station. It is a direct, flat and easy enough walk, even dragging suitcases behind you. It is an old, traditional style building, with 2 sections - front and rear - with the rear section possibly a bit quieter than the front, from a traffic perspective, but the road is not overly busy anyway. The rooms are a little dated, but comfortable. We (a couple) were upgraded to a family room (mezzanine second bedroom) in the rear section, although the main area was still relatively small. The room had a balcony, which is always nice, but no fridge or air con. Two portable fans were in the room and these were needed, in conjunction with an open balcony door, given the days were hot and nights warm. However, the important things were good - a comfortable bed and a good shower. The staff were very helpful and friendly; the predominantly cold breakfast was quite reasonable; there was a bar/lounge on the ground floor of the rear section; the Old Town was a 10 minute walk and there were a number of restaurants within the same 10 minute walk, so the location was fine. All in all, although not really modern, it was comfortable and it provided a pleasant stay.

Love the stay at Eiger! Hotel was opposite the train station and butler was at the train station to help us with the luggage without even us asking for help. Got a room with the mountain view and it’s so beautiful! Definitely recommended and would love to come back to this hotel if we were to be back at Mürren. Thanks Adrian for helping us w the luggages to the train station when we are going back as well!

The hotel is a building built in 1891. It has undergone renovations over time, but still needs to update its standards. We were only there one night. The room was small, as was the bathroom. Access to the shower was a little frustrating, because the old sliding doors did not slide well. They were supplied with soap and shampoo, there was no hair dryer. They don't have air conditioning, but in September, we opened the windows and the temperature was fine. The room had a standing fan. They offer breakfast and it had options and was well cooked. For us it was very good: juices, hot dishes, yogurt, cheese, we had a good breakfast. The best thing about the hotel, the location and the staff who assisted us that day. You can walk the distance between the station and the hotel, more or less 7 minutes, and around you find shops, markets, restaurants, internal bus routes. We were attended that day by Lucía, who received us with great enthusiasm and warmth, she recommended how to go to the places and the beautiful parts of the lake, which buses to take, and gave us some passes to take free public transportation. We feel very well cared for. We were also assisted by a guy who explained to us how to enter the hotel after 9:30 when the reception closes. He was also very attentive and friendly.

Ein tolles 3 Sterne Hotel direkt am See,sehr freundlicher Empfang und wir durften das Zimmer schon eher beziehen. Toll Bein Anreise,-und Abreisetag darf man schon ins Wellness, es ist ein kleines Bootshaus mit tollem Panorama Blick auf den See, eine Bio Sauna und ein Dampfbad ,ein Whirlpool und ein kleiner Ruheraum, es könnten noch ein paar Liegen mehr sein, aber das bemerkt man erst beim schlechten Wetter. Das Highlight ist, man geht die Wendeltreppe runter und ist direkt im See. Man kann Massage buchen.Ein Fitness ist vorhanden, und was toll ist man bekommt die Panorama Karte, wo man mit dem Bus die Gegend erkunden kann, wandern z.b. die Hängebrücke oder am See spazieren geht,usw., und das Auto kann stehen bleiben oder man kommt mit dem ÖV super Verbindungen.Die Zimmer sind einfach,aber grosszügig und ebenso das Bad, Handtücher sind genügend da und auch extra für das Wellness.Das Frühstück war sehr fein, für jeden etwas dabei, Rührei, Spiegelei man konnte alles bestellen und am Sonntag gab es Lachs. Am Abend war das Essen auch wunderbar, super Auswahl,ob Fleisch,Fisch,Vegetarisch, tolle Weine. Vielleicht habe ich noch was vergessen. Aber auf jedenfall kommen wir wieder.

How nice it was to return to the Rössli hote in its quiet, convenient location only a five minute walk from Interlaken West railway/bus/boat interchange, from where you can explore the beautiful Bernese Oberland region and farther afield using the excellent Swiss Transport system. The hotel is a traditional, homely, unpretentious, clean and well managed establishment with friendly and helpful staff. Christopher the owner speaks six languages and he and the rest of the multi-lingual reception staff can help provide local excursion tickets, information leaflets and general help with your itineraries that save queuing at the station or local tourist information centre. The hotel provides the Interlaken Guest Card that allows for local bus and rail transport within the town and offers discounts at local shops and attractions. My room at the Rössli was very clean, simply furnished with a very comfy bed, writing desk, multi-channel TV, safe, electrical sockets including USB ports plus a shower and toilet. There is a compact lift that operates between reception and the first and second floor, whilst remaining access to the third floor is via stairs. 24 hour free tea/coffee is available in the ground floor lounge along with a large screen TV with video options. There is also a small multi-lingual library and a microwave cooker plus utensils available so guests may bring in and heat up their own foods. On the second floor is another TV lounge with video library and children’s play area. Breakfasts at the Rössli are continental style with a yummy scrambled egg and bacon option plus the usual cereals, breads, meats, cheeses, boiled eggs, jams, yoghurts and fruit juices. Tea and coffee are served at your tables by their friendly staff including Jean Louis (Christopher’s dad) who provides humorous commentary and useful pearls of tourist wisdom to his many returning guests. The hotel also provides free parking and offers a pay as you go laundry facility. Across the road from the hotel are a pharmacy, Bank ATM, Pizza restaurant and within 150m is a well stocked Co-oP from where you can stock up on drinks, fruit and snacks that will sustain your on your daily travels. As the hotel is very popular, I would advise booking early to avoid disappointment. If you want a family friendly, cosy retreat that won’t entirely empty your wallet, then I would recommend the Rössli without hesitation.

Die Zimmerausstattung ist einfach und eher auf 1* bis 2*-Niveau. Der Innenbereich des Hotels ist insgesamt recht abgenutzt und bräuchte eine grundlegende Renovierung. Obwohl bei der Buchung kostenloses Wifi angegeben war, hatte ich auf meiner ganzen Etage kein Wifi und es gab nur im und um das Foyer herum Empfang. Das Personal wirkte gestresst und recht überfordert. Weder bei mir noch bei einem anderen Gast lag eine Buchungsbestätigung und Zahlungsbestätigung vor, so dass ich zunächst doppelt bezahlen musste, später aber das Geld zurückbekam. Keine Empfehlung!
