This was a wonderful place to stay. It was in the middle of the oldest area of Rennes, in a very old building in which the historic features were retained while adding a modern bathroom. The room was comfortable and pleasant, and the proprietors were beyond helpful. I had hurt my leg prior to my stay and the only issue for me was that there was no elevator. (An elevator would not have been possible without compromising the historic nature of the building). A nice breakfast included in the stay. Hotel was just steps from restaurants and shops. When I checked out, there was a foot race blocking the streets and the taxi to take me to the train station didn't come. The proprietor (proprietress?) took my big suitcase and walked with me to the metro which went right to the train station!!!

Fantastic property in a great location. My family of four stayed comfortably in the unit. Shops and restaurants within walking distance, and a great staff at the property. Highly recommend.

We were only in Rennes for one night, but wish it would have been longer. This property was wonderful. Marion, the owner, treats you like family. We were in the Marnie suite, which was quite spacious and right off the main 'family room' area on the 2nd floor (right next to the breakfast nook). This was the most comfy bed we were in during out week in France. The property is from the 16th century, so everything creaks when you walk, but I think that adds to the charm. We have a friend that lives in Rennes and she thinks the street this is on is the most beautiful street in Rennes. Highly recommend this property.

My husband and I met some friends and stayed at Marnie et Mister H together in March 2022. The hotel is in a perfect location! Close to the main Metro station (Republique), blocks away from the Marche des Lices, and a lovely walk to the old center of town, Sainte Anne. The building is older, as many in the area are, and has beautiful, well maintained original features. The owner of the hotel was kind and accommodating. She had great restaurant recommendations and served a delicious breakfast! We will absolutely be back on our next visit to Rennes.

Wonderful location with a great staff and very comfortable rooms. Breakfast was really special and the staff went out of their way to be helpful with things like parking (which can be a bit complicated). Very highly recommended.

We LOVED this place. It's history and location, it's tastefully decorated interior and the exceptional host, all provided for us an amazing experience. Every detail, whether it was the expensive linens we slept in, the homemade breakfast goodies (banana cake one morning, and pancakes the next) or the B&B's personalized guide (including a map, shop/restaurant recommendations, and more), made our stay worthwhile. On a road trip with 4 different accomodations, this was by far our favorite.

A very special place. Friendly service, excellent location in the heart of the old town. Delicious breakfast. We stayed in the family apartment and had plenty of space for four people. The only thing to keep in mind is that there is no elevator- you need to carry your bags up to your room / apartment.

Great location in Rennes City Ctr in 15th century wood frame building that survived fire of 1720. The room amenities are good, although the tub only shower system is hassle. Marion’s service and breakfast are excellent, and there is no problems with noise from street. Just staying a night in this well restored old building is worth the rent. Stairs might be nuisance for people, and not great family hotel.
