"Very mixed experience here. On the plus side, the room was very spacious and clean, with a lovely shower room and the surprise addition of a useful fridge. The bed was very comfortable and the heating system in the room was superb. The single staff member we saw during our stay was very friendly and extremely hard working, covering Reception / cleaning / bar and admin as far as we could tell. The selection of drinks available in the bar was great and it was a very pleasant atmosphere to sit and drink in whole watching the football. On the negative side, the hotel was not offering breakfast, despite this being stated as included at the time of booking. The bar closing at 10pm is ridiculously early for a hotel and we would have liked to be able to stay in the bar for longer. Also, the mirror in the bedroom is woefully inadequate. There is a very large space on the wall by the door; please consider putting a full length mirror there, instead of the ridiculously small one tucked in a corner. Additionally, no nets at the windows is a personal gripe of mine as I thrive on daylight and was forced to keep the curtains closed while I was in the room, which I really did not like. Overall, not an awful hotel by any means and I would definitely consider coming back when they've solved a few issues, got a couple more members of staff, and I could get a cooked breakfast."

"Super experience at the Lawns yesterday, Quasim a polite professional and caring host, parked our car for 16 days. Nice secure location and stayed overnight upon our return to UK. Clean comfortable room. Super fresh breakfast of poached eggs on toast and filter coffee. Plenty of other items for those who want cereal and fruit etc. most definitely stay again when flying from Gatwick which is 5 mins away. Thank you for looking after snowy 😊"

"Arrived today went into room cracks on walls inside door hanging of hinges dose not shut unless u lift to shut needs updating straight away refused to stay so left not worth the £57 i paid more like £10 and thats being generous would defo not recommend this place seems more money has been spent on the pub not the rooms never go back i have taken photos of room 4 which i will post tomorrow asked 4 a refund which i expect in 7days and if not will get in touch with trading standers"
