Our room was like entering a 1970s time warp! Strange flowery curtains and as others have said, very antiquated overall. Very basic furnishings and badly stained carpet. Room and bathroom were clean but permeated by a sense of neglect. One of the most depressing rooms we have ever stayed in. This was our first visit to the area so very disappointed and the hotel did not help to inspire us! Good breakfast with variety of choices. Would have preferred yoghurt and fruit to be chilled both warm. I cannot imagine returning anytime soon.

We stayed here one night on our cycling trip, and after a rough start (rather grouchy proprietor man at the front desk who didn’t speak any English and seemed sick of cycling guests, although we were only 4 easygoing people), enjoyed our stay. Bike storage was up around the corner through a garage that the proprietor had to open for us. We had a nice big room (though our friends had a tiny single next door to us and a larger single across the street and up several flights of stairs, so they were less thrilled). Our room was over the little walking street but quiet and comfortable. There was plenty of space, a big bed, closets and shelves, a big bathroom, and a good little desk and fast Wifi. The hotel is in a great location in the main old streets of Zell, with one side facing the river and the other the walking street. There is a good, expansive breakfast buffet in the huge dining room downstairs overlooking the river, with friendly and bustling service. Strangely, even though it was still tourist season (early Sept), and it was a Tuesday night, we found almost no restaurants open for dinner and were even turned away at more than one (at 7-7:30pm). But we ended up having an excellent dinner at a friendly Italian restaurant near the hotel.

This hotel is becoming a regular for us. We like the Motel One chain, with small, comfortable bedrooms with good showers, and with a good bar to relax in at the end of the day. This particular hotel is well located for drivers, with effectively unlimited parking as it is built over a shopping centre with which it shares the car park, but also next door to the main station in Wiesbaden, and close enough by foot from the town centre to be bale to walk out for dinner.

Clean hotel with great location: excellent access to Wiesbaden main train station and nice mall next door. City also in walking distance. Very friendly staff all around. Kaif at hotel bar is phenomenal. Would definitely stay again.

Wir waren auf der Suche nach einer Unterkunft für eine Nacht, da ein Konzert im Schlachthof anstand. Die Location ist quasi direkt gegenüber - sehr praktisch. Vor dem Check-In im Hotel erhält man die Möglichkeit einen Online Check-In zu durchlaufen. Für das Öffnen der Zimmer und des Hotels außerhalb der Rezeptionszeiten erhält der Gast einen Zahlencode. Der Parkplatz ist kostenfrei und ohne Voranmeldung zu nutzen. Sehr praktisch. TIPP: Die Zufahrt zum Parkhaus ist über die Murnaustraße hinter dem Haus. Der Hinweis am Haupteingang ist leider zugewachsen. :D Der Check-In selber verläuft problemlos. Man bemerkt hier schon eine gewisse Nonchalance, die aber durchaus sympathisch ist. Im Eingangsbereich gibt es Snack- und Getränkeautomat und Computerarbeitsplätze. Die Zimmer sind helle, alle einheitlich und kompakt. Fenster lassen sich öffnen, die Klimaanlange arbeitet gut. Die Betten sind mit 80*200CM gerade noch groß genug und haben einen angenehmen Härtegrad. TV und WLAN waren da. Letzteres mit wechselnder Qualität. Sehr ordentlich war die Sauberkeit. Das Frühstück ist mit 10,50 EUR p.P. wirklich günstig. Auswahl und Qualität sind in Ordnung. Kaffee gibt es aus dem Vollautomaten, Saft aus dem Spender. Neben den üblichen Verdächtigen stehen auch Knäckebrot und Süßgebäck zur Verfügung. B&B erfüllt genau das, was man mit der Marke verbindet. Die Unterkunft ist günstig und praktisch.

Absolutely amazing experience!! Very Friendly staff, EXTREMELY accommodating, great breakfast buffet, and VERY clean rooms. Really happy with our stay. Also has a tiny corner in the lobby with a few activities for kids such as books, puzzles and blocks to play with. Underground parking available with an extra fee if desired.

Sehr freundlicher Empfang, auch Personal im Restaurant sehr freundlich. Der Wellness-Bereich ist sehr schön und großzügig gestaltet, wobei wir nur den Pool (klein, aber fürs Kind hat er gereicht :-)) genutzt haben. Frühstück ist sehr umfangreich mit allem, was das Herz begehrt. Das Restaurant haben wir einmal genutzt, auch hier war alles sehr nett und das Essen sehr gut. Wir kommen sicher wieder, wenn wir in der Nähe sind (was sehr bald der Fall ist).
Lage ist etwas außerhalb von Wiesbaden, fußläufig kann man dort nichts unternehmen. Wenn man ohnehin nur mit dem Auto unterwegs ist, ist das aber okay.

PPengguna TetamuWe had a lovely 1 night stay! On arrival we were helped with car parking straight away, and offered a glass of sparkling while we were checked in. The team members were welcoming, and the service at dinner and breakfast was friendly and professional. Food was delicious and particularly enjoyed the ‘made to order’ omelette. The Hotel was very clean, and our room was spacious. We had a shower over the bathtub which was ok for us, but may cause others difficulty. Location is fantastic and in easy walking distance to everything. We hope to stay again, thank you!

We stayed in nice hotels on this trip. This was the best of the best. It is located near a tiny hamlet called Johannesburg which is near the Rhine River. Town does have a couple of restaurants and also a bank with an ATM machine. There is also a Shell station very close to the hotel. Located on a beautiful vineyard. Hotel is spacious, relaxing, tranquil. It is a modern two story structure. One drives through a gated entrance (no guards, left open). Parking surrounds the hotel and is easy. Next to the parking is a building housing two restaurants that have incorporated the remains of a 19th century pseudo castle. Room was very large, elegant, modern. Bathroom also large and modern. Bed was comfortable but the cot they brought in was torture. Window faced the front of the hotel. We could see the 'castle', vineyard. Hotel staff were very nice. Provided us with gifts of wine and other amenities. I had concerns booking this. We wanted to spend several days seeing the Rhine river castles and I was worried it was too far from that. Adding to my concern was that it was only 35 minutes to drive to Frankfurt airport. So I thought this was out of the way. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the hotel was a great base for exploring the best parts of the Rhine. Drive along the river was pictureque and we could easily reach what we wanted to see in a short time. The hotel is located on a slope rising above the river. Driving downhill through the small town brought us to the river's edge. There is a car ferry that runs frequently taking one to the other side so we did that one day. Another day we drove the highway on our side of the river. Both were great drives. Getting to the airport on our last day was quick and easy (helped that it was Sunday when everything is closed). FYI - for those with a rental car you can fill up at the airport just as you get to the rental return/departure area.

PPengguna TetamuRecently stayed at this lovely small hotel which is very nicely located centrally in Rudesheim but far enough away from train noise or busy streets, although there is a bar opposite we were unaffected by any noise being located in a Comfort Junior Suite in the eaves of the hotel. Our suite consisted of a small sitting area and bathroom on the entry level and two bedrooms up a spiral stairway, this would be my main issue that you had to negotiate this stairs in the night if you needed the bathroom, plus the dressing table and storage area for the outer bedroom was also downstairs. There was a little dressing table and some shelves in the inner bedroom but storage is quite minimal so be prepared to live mostly out of your suitcase. However despite these issues the room had air conditioning, was spotless, beds were comfortable and bathroom well proportioned with lots of storage and a good hairdryer, there was also a good sized fridge which was very handy. Breakfast was served in the beautiful little restaurant which was unfortunately closed this year, there was also a nice little courtyard area where you could eat, we had a lovely lady waiting on us each morning and her helpfulness and friendly nature made up for the frosty unwelcoming woman who checked us in upon arrival. English speaking guests should be aware that it can be difficult to be understood, many staff have little English and learning a few basic German phrases would be helpful, this whole area is not really geared up for the English speaking market and is more aimed at native clients, this is reflected in the food also but that was fine we were there to experience something different and enjoyed the fare although asking for decaff coffee proved very difficult in some places its a bit of a rarity apparently! Overall we were very happy with our accommodation and thought it good value for money, maybe keep the frosty lady away from reception to ensure first impressions are true to the real hospitality of this charming hotel.

PPengguna Tetamu5 lady friends and I stayed at this quaint establishment for 6 nights. We had 3 rooms, each with its own character & charm. Jessica and her husband {proprietors} were simple the very best. Spoke English better than some Americans. Helped us with any need we asked about, from restaurants, reservations, where to find a self service laundry, bank, on & on. We were able to purchase tickets for many nearby attractions, boat tours, cable car, right at the front desk and have the cost go directly on our bill, so easy. Breakfast was well stocked, staff made sure we were happy, on the spot for coffee refills, need more eggs? Etc. Our departure was early in the am , since we had asked for daily breakfast, sandwiches, apples & bottled waters were made available to us for our ride to the airport. The beds and pillows were perfect, we all slept so well. Happy the morning buffet lasted until 11am, able to sleep late or take our time getting ready for the day! This was my second stay at this hotel , and it won’t be my last! Wunderbar experience each time!!!

Schlangenbad hat schon bessere Zeiten gesehen, aber das ist lange her. Die meisten Gäste werden jetzt wegen irgendwelchen medizinischen Behandlungen kommen. Das Hotel bietet außer sauberen Zimmern eigentlich nichts, weswegen man es aufsuchen sollte. Die Lobby ist große und kühl mit Marmorfußboden, ein Restaurant gibt es nicht, auch keine sonstigen Einrichtungen. Die Rezeption war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, ganz besonders möchte ich die Anstrengungen des jungen Mannes am Abend hervorheben, der mir einen Ausdruck einer mail organisiert hat. An den Zimmern gibt es nichts zu bemängeln, der Fahrstuhl ist winzig, was sicher dem Erbauungsdatum des Hauses geschuldet ist. Angesichts der enormen Kosten für einen Umbau wird man das wohl so belassen, denn wie schon erwähnt sind die großen Zeiten als ”Bad” vorbei, was anderen Kurorten aber ähnlich geht. Das Frühstücksbuffet war ausreichend bestückt, auch hier gibt es nichts zu bemängeln. Ein Rundgang im Ort lohnt sich, das schöne alte Kurhaus ist sehenswert und einige andere Häuser auch wie der ”Russische Hof”. Ob sich das wiederbeleben läßt? Fazit: erste ( und wohl einzige) Wahl, wenn man im Ort zu tun hat.
