Hotel berhampiran Rudolf August Wiemer, Rheingau-Taunus-Kreis

Recently stayed at this lovely small hotel which is very nicely located centrally in Rudesheim but far enough away from train noise or busy streets, although there is a bar opposite we were unaffected by any noise being located in a Comfort Junior Suite in the eaves of the hotel. Our suite consisted of a small sitting area and bathroom on the entry level and two bedrooms up a spiral stairway, this would be my main issue that you had to negotiate this stairs in the night if you needed the bathroom, plus the dressing table and storage area for the outer bedroom was also downstairs. There was a little dressing table and some shelves in the inner bedroom but storage is quite minimal so be prepared to live mostly out of your suitcase. However despite these issues the room had air conditioning, was spotless, beds were comfortable and bathroom well proportioned with lots of storage and a good hairdryer, there was also a good sized fridge which was very handy. Breakfast was served in the beautiful little restaurant which was unfortunately closed this year, there was also a nice little courtyard area where you could eat, we had a lovely lady waiting on us each morning and her helpfulness and friendly nature made up for the frosty unwelcoming woman who checked us in upon arrival. English speaking guests should be aware that it can be difficult to be understood, many staff have little English and learning a few basic German phrases would be helpful, this whole area is not really geared up for the English speaking market and is more aimed at native clients, this is reflected in the food also but that was fine we were there to experience something different and enjoyed the fare although asking for decaff coffee proved very difficult in some places its a bit of a rarity apparently! Overall we were very happy with our accommodation and thought it good value for money, maybe keep the frosty lady away from reception to ensure first impressions are true to the real hospitality of this charming hotel.

We had a lovely 1 night stay! On arrival we were helped with car parking straight away, and offered a glass of sparkling while we were checked in. The team members were welcoming, and the service at dinner and breakfast was friendly and professional. Food was delicious and particularly enjoyed the ‘made to order’ omelette. The Hotel was very clean, and our room was spacious. We had a shower over the bathtub which was ok for us, but may cause others difficulty. Location is fantastic and in easy walking distance to everything. We hope to stay again, thank you!

We stayed at the Hoteltraube in July 2020 and of course things and procedures were not quite normal, due to corona regulations. The hotel is located in front of the river Rhine, a few steps away from the Drosselgasse end the historic town center. Yes, there is a railway in front of the hotel, but we didn't hear trains passing during the night. We had a room on the first floor, overlooking the river. Our room was nice and clean and included a private bathroom and TV. Maybe the room was a bit outdated, so what, it was clean and comfortable for the weekend. And breakfast was served at the table, because a self-service buffet was not allowed at the time of our stay. But the hotel did everything to make guests having a great breakfast. The hotel also offers a private car park at the back, but public parkings are also nearby. Staff was friendly and helpful. The value for money was good.

It was a pretty good hotel. The breakfast was decent and had plentiful options. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was convenient for day trips from the train station. There was a shopping mall next door with restaurants, drug store, shopping and grocery stores open until 10pm most nights, except Sunday. There were a large amount of restaurants within walking distance or under 15 minutes, the local buses, a lot of them stopped in front of the Hauptbahnhof. So that method of transportation was also very easily used. The hotel was pretty clean, the showers were a decent size. They did have at least one English Channel of the television so I could watch the news at night.

Das Hotel ist sehr zentral gelegen, in der Nähe des Kongresszentrums und auch zur Innenstadt. Das Team ist äußerst motiviert und zuvorkommend. In dieser Freundlichkeit und Kompetenz erlebe ich das selten! Frühstück ist sehr gut gewesen und die Dame, die zuständig war war ebenfalls sehr sehr freundlich! Das EZ war sehr klein, jedoch sauber und funktionell! Sauna vorhanden und Fitnessraum. Alles in sehr gepflegtem Zustand!

Located right by Market Plaza; Close to everything; especially Kurs Park which is like NY Central Park. The hotel has a policy of every other day for housekeeping but you could request everyday as needed. The hotel is a bit dated. The bathroom is small and poor designed. The bathroom amenities (soap, shampoo) are low quality. Please bring your own. Towels are worn out. The restaurant is good. Breakfast is tasty but very limited options. Staff are super friendly. Housekeeping is bad. I had a trash bag that they didn't collect for days. Shampoo, body wash are running out but never got replaced. This was before I decided to get my own since their products made my skin dry and itchy. They forgot to replenish water or the minibar as required for Privilege Room.

We booked this hotel because our friends recommended it. Apparently, as they said the quality has plummeted down in comparison to their previous stays. Rooms are good size and very clean, beds comfy, the pillows, however, are old and lumpy, it’s time to replace them. I couldn’t get shower water temperature right, it was going from hot to cold without me changing the setting. A disappointing experience with the hotel air-conditioning system. We stayed on the days when the outside temperature was ranging +28+32C but the hotel already switched the system to winter mode and our room felt boiling and stuffy. We were kindly offered an upgrade and the new room was on a different side and slightly cooler but I heard other guests complaining to the hotel stuff about the same problem. I would like to thank the gentleman at the front desk, who moved us from 640 to room 345 on 18th August, I’m sorry I didn’t ask his name but I want to make the hotel management aware about his professionalism and patience that he demonstrated while dealing with our complaint. Breakfast was decent and tasty. Bar team is friendly, I had great hospitality experience, Merci to the Iranian bar manager Isa (sorry I am not sure how to spell the name). The hotel is walking distance from The Museum which I recommend to visit and the Old Town.

Sehr zentral gelegen in Stadtmitte alles gut erreichbar.nahe Kurpark.lädt gleich zum spazieren gehen ein. Ein gutes Mittelklasse Hotel.guter freundlicher Empfang .sehr behilflich bei Problemen werden gleich behoben. Gutes Frühstück für jeden etwas dabei.alles sauber und ordentlich. Wir hatten ein ruhiges Zimmer. Zur Verbesserrung an die netten Zimmermädchen Spiegel und Teppiche besser reinigen.

Absolutely amazing experience!! Very Friendly staff, EXTREMELY accommodating, great breakfast buffet, and VERY clean rooms. Really happy with our stay. Also has a tiny corner in the lobby with a few activities for kids such as books, puzzles and blocks to play with. Underground parking available with an extra fee if desired.

Sehr freundlicher Empfang, auch Personal im Restaurant sehr freundlich. Der Wellness-Bereich ist sehr schön und großzügig gestaltet, wobei wir nur den Pool (klein, aber fürs Kind hat er gereicht :-)) genutzt haben. Frühstück ist sehr umfangreich mit allem, was das Herz begehrt. Das Restaurant haben wir einmal genutzt, auch hier war alles sehr nett und das Essen sehr gut. Wir kommen sicher wieder, wenn wir in der Nähe sind (was sehr bald der Fall ist). Lage ist etwas außerhalb von Wiesbaden, fußläufig kann man dort nichts unternehmen. Wenn man ohnehin nur mit dem Auto unterwegs ist, ist das aber okay.
