Café da manhã e atendimento muito bons. Poderia ter serviço de praia para os hóspedes. O quarto bem simples e alguns móveis com manchas, dava pra perceber que não era feito manutenção a bastante tempo.

Atendimento impecável! Localização excelente, vários restaurantes e lojas na região. O ar condicionado é do modelo antigo, faz muiiiito barulho. O Box extremamente apertado, uma pessoa grande ou mesmo uma gravida teria dificuldade em usar. O café da manha, senti falta de requeijão e salada de frutas, apesar de ter as frutas cortadas. Apesar destes pontos, eu voltaria com certeza a me hospedar .

I opted for a bed in the 10-bed female dorm at Carneval. Cost me $90 with an official airport taxi but for this uninitiated female solo traveller I just wanted to take the easiest route for arriving late on a Saturday night. Very much a young backpackers place, you will party and you will drink here if you don't go to the 'English' bar across the road which is where I did go and had a grand time chatting to the bar staff who were a bit older than my fellow bedmates (who were all lovely, by the way). It's as clean as it can be for a quick turnaround place, free drinks between 7-8pm and the staff were just lovely. Helpful and friendly. Short walk from the beach. I felt safe wandering at night here and the Metro is a block or so away. Only tiny grumble is that the photos on tripadvisor are not of the Ipanema site; it's a lot, lot smaller!

A estadia com minha esposa foi ótima, quarto bem limpo e aconchegante, banheiro grande, limpo e organizado, assim como todo o quarto. Tudo funcionando, TV a cabo, abajur, frigobar, roupas de cama limpas e suficientes, armário com cofre para objetos de valor. Café da manhã muito bom com bolo, pães, ovo, frutas, iogurte, geleias, entre outras opções.

Pengalaman yang sangat bagus, kawasan kolam renang juga sangat cantik, dengan kaki lima yang cantik. .Ia hanya meninggalkan beberapa kekurangan dalam kebersihan bilik yang tinggal, saya mencadangkan bahawa semuanya baik-baik saja.

One of the worst hostel rooms I've ever seen. Smelt of damp, walls and mattress were absolutely filthy. Sheets were paper thin and stained. The room I was provided with had 0 space whatsoever. As soon as I checked in and saw the state of the room I asked to be moved to a different room. I was happy to pay whatever price difference there was but was told no other room was available for the duration of my stay. I booked a private room that was available for a few days and requested a refund of the remaining balance. I was told someone would contact me to discuss this. I waited a week and received 0 calls or emails. I called and emailed multiple times, and after it was clear I wouldn't be receiving any response I resigned myself to this review. The staff are friendly enough but I wouldn't rebook this hostel again if it was the only option in rio. The bonus was the ants everywhere in the private room and the lack of courtesy to get back to me on my partial refund request.
