Hotel Rio Hato dengan Bar

This was our 3rd visit to Royal Decameron Panama and we loved it. Enjoyed the new Plus Option, A La Carte meals for all 3 meals you took a picture of the menu board on arrival and we also had guaranteed dinner reservations that we booked on Mondays. We really enjoyed the food in all the restaurants, one night the Cowboy Restaurant was not great service, they seemed to have forgotten us and we waited a very long time to be noticed but we gave it another try and the steak and burger were out of this world amazing and great service 2nd time around. It’s VERY hot in Panama!!! Felt like 43 most days and no rain just a couple drops. Be prepared to wear lots of sunscreen and try to find shade! There seemed to not be enough chairs when we were there hardly any around the pool and you desperately need a chair with shade. The members only private area had sooo many chairs and hardly anyone there. Hope they get this resolved. Also we saw many peoples chairs being taken by other guests they just took off other people’s towels or just took over their belongings and sat down that kinda blew my mind. Never seen that before at other resorts. Weekends were busy. Lots and lots of stairs. 95 from beach to our room and a very steep incline but we love the exercise, it was a work out. Great service at the bars. Thanks to Kelvin and Katiusca. Loved the conversation and great drinks. And Lobby 1 guy in blue baseball hat (sorry forget your name) made the best drinks and started to make them as soon as he saw us! Spanish coffee and whiskey sour please. We walked to town and bought hot sauce and chips really good price at grocery store. Went to Nico’s for beers on walk was going to go to La Fogata again went other years but to be honest the food at the resort was so good I didn’t feel the need to book off site. We walked down the beach to Playa Blanca loved all the walking and no sea****. Need a hat! I’m definitely going to try to learn more Spanish and we are coming back in 2025! Love Panama. The hotel is beautiful, the service is ok. The beach isn't good, but the pools compensate. The restaurants are amazing, very very good! The bed and the pillows made me suffer the 2 nights!! Tried to relief the pain in the tube, but there was no hot water in it, only in the shower. Went to the spa, very good service and massage! If you are looking for a nice pool, good drinks, a very good spa and amazing food, is a place to go. But bring your pillow!!

The hotel has a lot of potential but unfortunately should not be hosting guests at this time. It is so rundown, the bathrooms the doors the handles the closets. I'm just going to mention the basic necessities that weren't up to standard to any hotel. All my children did not receive blankets until the end of our stay. Cleaning service will take out towels without replacement. No running hot water had to take showers literally by the sink. My elderly mother's room had puddles of water and mold. They were worried about slipping and falling the whole stay. They would not switch us out to another room. Front desk was polite but never gave consistent true answers and just kept stringing us on.

Las instalaciones deben actualizarlas. No contamos con lámpara de noche, y tampoco secador de cabello, el que tuvimos que solicitarlo. Algunas baldosas del balcón estaban quebradas y el piso de la ducha manchado. El personal muy amable, la comida buena, sin embargo sólo pudimos acceder al bufet no logramos visitar otros restaurantes. Las piscinas, playa excelente. Los salvavidas muy pendientes y colaboradores.
