Great hotel, staff were friendly and loved the ale house bar. One thing that could be improved is the Lift speed, it is painfully slow! I would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again

Recently reburbished smart hotel a five minute walk in to town, parking was easy but can imagine it will get full quickly. The hotel was very busy during our stay but the staff were excellent and nothing was too much trouble, our room whilst small was fine and had a fantastic view of the gardens which are a work in progress. We had dinner in the hotel and it could have been better but breakfast was very good, overall a good stay and would return.

Location is an easy walk into Ripon itself and near all the tourist spots. Room excellent size and recently refurbished. Staff generally very pleasant and helpful with the exception of the breakfast staff who were less so. The bar is very good with a wide selection of drinks. The one thing that lets the place down is the food quality. The breakfast was not the variety advertised and the first morning they had almost run out of food although we were not late. The terrine starter for the evening meal was poor and the mains just OK. I would stay again but eat in one of the Ripon restaurants.

A lovely hotel in a great location. Our first time away with our collie puppy and the team were brilliant, an ideal hotel. The hotel room was spacious, exceptionally appointed and very clean. The team were very efficient and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was plentiful and excellent quality. We’ve stayed at Inn Collection hotels a few times and have always been impressed, talking to staff at the Ripon Inn they were very complimentary about their employers, stating what a good company it is, this is commendable but is evident in the way the team seem to enjoy their roles and their approach to customers.

We stayed 2 nights with dinner on the first night & breakfast both mornings. A beautiful hotel & grounds in a very good location. Our room was extremely small with a tiny shower & small double bed, definitely not reflected in the website photos & should be charged less than a normal double room which appear to be very spacious. Dinner was poor, one main had to be returned as was inedible, mash on the other tasted like it was from a packet & the starter mussels were the tiniest I've ever seen. The waiter was very good though, apologized & had the main replaced quickly. We had drinks including some cocktails. The first bartender was friendly & made delicious cocktails however the other bartender was rude, lacked the simplest of manners, made inedible cocktails & clearly couldn't be bothered. We both slept well & in the mornings all the cleaning & breakfast staff we met were extremely friendly & chatty. Breakfast was a very good selection & what we had was tasty. It was only on our second night that we discovered the Ale House Bar, we hadn't been informed about it & wrongly presumed this was just an extension of the main bar. However this is open later for residents & the bartender there was excellent, friendly & chatty. This hotel has many positives but also many negatives, however I would look to stay again & hopefully have a better overall experience.

Good value with grate service Welcomed the dog throughout the hotel. Breakfast had a good selection of items and evening meals were good value and were tasty

Great location, just a 5 min walk from the centre of Ripon. Great nights sleep, in a very comfortable bed.

Stayed at the Ripon Inn for 2 nights as we were at a Wedding at Grantly Hall. Absolutely lovely hotel, the staff are really friendly and happy to help, we had breakfast in the morning which was lovely. The room was perfectly sized for 2 people, kingsized bed and a huge bathroom! Will definitely return!
