The location was great! It takes you only 15-20 minutes to arrive at the craters of Etna (Crateri Silvestri). The staff was VERY friendly and helpful. They gave us great tips for our trips. The wellness area was wonderful too and we spent a lot of time there. The rooms are good and facilities too. We definitively recommend you to stay there!

A beautiful setting with incredible views. The cave entrance onto the beach is amazing! The beach is pebbles. Crystal clear water. The complimentary shuttle to town is nice.You must request passes in the morning, for the time you would like to use the shuttle that day. It is confusing where to actually get on the shuttle, so be sure to ask at the desk. The property was once a grand establishment. It is tired and worn with need of a refurbish. The staff was nice at front desk. I contacted housekeeping one evening for extra coffee for the room and was told ”They have gone for the day.” Seems odd for a resort.

Hotel in posizione spettacolare con vista sui Faraglioni. Camera pulita e ben tenuta, bagno piccolo ma funzionale. Sembrava appena ristrutturata. Personale cordiale. Colazione ottima con ampia scelta dolce e salta nel bar dell'hotel. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo essendo fuori stagione.

We stayed for three nights as we were attending a wedding locally. The hotel was lovely and the staff were first class. Everyone was very helpful and extremely friendly. Unfortunately the pool and spa area were out of action but it didn't matter as we spent time outside around the pool. The barman was also very friendly and knowledgeable about the drinks he served. I would definitely recommend the hotel for a short visit as there isn't much to do locally

Splendida accoglienza di Raffaele e lo staff. Albergo piacevole, cucina eccellente, terrazza mozzafiato. Ci siamo sentiti a casa. Il borgo di Milo tranquillo e delizioso, accanto a cantine dalla storia affascinante (I vigneri tra tutti) e a due passi dai Monti Sartorius, che offrono uno splendido punto di vista dell'Etna. Speriamo di tornare presto!

We found this hotel via Jet2 and thought it sounded nice. The hotel was stunning and we loved it (we are quite fussy) The lobby area is modern, the pool is beautiful and the breakfast setting and food is excellent. The pool food was ok (our children age 8 and 9 loved it) and the setting again is beautiful. We often went across the road to the restaurant Valentino's and bought pizza to eat at the pool or in the hotel garden. The pool does get busy so get a sun bed early (we had enough space every day). The sea is stunning and very easily accessible. The beach is pebbly but if you get shoes it's fine. Further down the beach is a lovely restaurant for lunch called Valentina (owned by Valentino's daughter). The rooms are dated but clean and spacious, the beds were very comfy and one large room was big enough for a family of 4. The location is great the beach, restaurants, shops and the boats are easy to walk to. Taormina is only 25 mins on the bus and it costs 2 euro pp. we did a fantastic boat trip to see the caves with Poseidon from Giardini Naxos and visited Taormina and Castelmola. Would go back tomorrow! Giving it 5 stars because it has everything you need for a lovely Italian holiday. For context our flight was cancelled and we were moved to another hotel free of charge (inc all food and drink for our last night). We checked in looked around decided the Marriott was far nicer and returned immediately (at our own expense). It was worth it!

I have just returned from a lovely week here and I have to say that it exceeded my expectations. The staff are great, friendly and very helpful, quite a bit of English is spoken so it's fairly easy to get help with arranging things such as taxis, trains etc. It really helps when it comes to my general incompetence with the Italian language. My room was very clean and perfectly comfortable with air con which I imagine you will be very thankful of in the summer months! The pool area is also clean, tidy and well equipped with loungers and chairs, there's even a small bar where you can get what you need at a reasonable price. I chose to eat at the restaurant in the evenings and the food was excellent, a good selection and fairly priced in my opinion, portion sizes are also generous. There is a beach fairly nearby, say 1-2 km which you can walk to or there are bicycles available at the hotel if you are feeling confident, the roads are a bit ”exciting”, however this is not unusual in Sicily/Italy, there are always taxis and these are not expensive and probably safer. It is advantageous to have your own transport as it is a fair walk to the centre of Giarre and of course you will want to visit the many stunning sites on and around Etna itself, there is ample off-road parking at the hotel. In summary this is a fabulous place to use as a base to explore Etna and the many tourist hotspots up and down the coast, it's a very calm and relaxing place with a nice atmosphere, a good mix of nationalities and excellent food at a very reasonable price. It is the staff that made my stay so enjoyable, they are all lovely people and genuinely friendly, this to me makes a trip special and makes me want to return. Modern hotel on the outskirts of Acireale with all things you would expect from an All Accor hotel. Pleasant, helpful staff on arrival got us settled in nicely. Good size room with large bathroom. In fact the bathroom was bigger than our whole room in Singapore!🤣 Room had everything you need for a short stay. WiFi and air con worked well. Good breakfast but watch out for the kitchen staff…..they’ll have your table cleared before you come back from getting another brew! After that, we made sure one of us stayed at the table when the other went for a top up. We only had one small problem with the room which we mentioned to reception staff and that was sorted out before our return later that day, thank you. Be mindful this hotel is out of town and only one restaurant within walking distance (it was shut for 2 weeks when we stayed!) Large shopping complex is right next door, handy for bits and bobs and to stock up the fridge. Enjoyable stay and would not hesitate to book here again.
