Hotel berhampiran Riverside Municipal Auditorium, Riverside

First impression was not good. There was someone smoking pot in the parking lot when we pulled in and the hotel has this funky smell to it. Also, the hotel is located in the middle of an industrial area w/ the highway right across. So it seems very desolate and uninviting at first. But when you get your room, it's pretty nice. We had a 2 bed room and the beds sheets/pillows were clean and there was enough room for both of us. I was expecting a dungy bathroom but it was nice as well. Good room for the shower and sink/toilet. Also very clean. Yes, there is some funky smells in the rooms that others have pointed out. I'm not sure where it comes from but you smell it and I guess we get use to it. It's not overbearing but a bit of an annoyance. Maybe it comes from the Air Conditioner. But best thing was proximity to the university. You don't need to take the highway from here to get to the university. Side streets and you'll be there in about 10 min time. Price was cheapest in the entire area of hotels. Booked thru Costco Travel. For a 1-3 day visit the hotel will suit your needs.

before making reservations i called the hotel because for some reason my employee discount was not going through for my second nigh, so i was transfer to reservations and there the nice representative told me to just book the night and when checking in to tell the receptionist to use my employee discount for the 2nd night (she told me there was available rooms for my second day and didnt understand why i wasnt able to reserve) i also asked her if it was ok to switch one room to a queen bed and she said ”of course just let the receptionist know and she should be able to accomidate you”...so i booked. next day we arrive we were not even greeted by the receptionist ALISA(but notice that the guest before and after us were nicely greeted they were both african american guest)she had a really bad attitude, rolled her eyes a couple of times when we asked questions, i let her know about what the reservations agent told me to tell her and so she tell me that she count accomidate me for the second night so i told her that why would someone tell me something an another one something else...so i said its fine...so shre proseed to doing the reservations and i told her if she can atleast change my room to a queen bed,she right away took a long breath and rolled her eyes and stared to the screen for a minute and then went to the back desk and slammed the doors csame back with some room keys after we just went to our room...the room was nicee and clean except when we went to the restroom...there was haair in the floor and pieces of toilet paper like if the floors werent sweep.....we would not mind going back there but they need to talk to thats ALISA girl!! the ”breakfast” was a joke ....an orange,muffin,granola bar and peanuts in A brown bag...it was kitty carders like ALISA had said when we asked her about the breakfast....no temperature checks,no sanatizers.

Meja penyambut tetamu sangat membantu. Keselamatan agak gongho tentang pekerjaannya. Tiada sarapan pagi seperti yang diterangkan dan termasuk dalam bayaran kadar setiap malam dan mereka tidak membayar balik perbezaan tersebut.

Nice clean hotel! Love that they gave us extra towels in advance. Breakfast was AMAZING! Good variety of food. Starbucks across the street was the deal breaker.

Hotel ini tidak jauh dari lebuh raya, tetapi ia sangat tenang dan agak baru, dengan peralatan tempat tidur yang selesa. Walaupun jauh sedikit dari Desert Outlets, ia jauh lebih baik daripada hotel berhampirannya. Harga tak mahal. Sikap kakitangan perkhidmatan juga sangat baik. Terdapat Wal-Mart kira-kira 3 kilometer dari hotel, tempat anda boleh menjamu selera dan membeli makanan. Tiada restoran di sekitar hotel.

Everything was great. Except the room wasn’t cleaned up very well which made me feel pretty uncomfortable. The customer service was nice but the following morning I kept getting harassed over check out even though I requested and was given permission for a late check out at 1pm instead of 11am but other than that it was OK.

During my four-day stay, breakfast was not fully stocked, I didn't receive housekeeping, and I was told they did not have clean towels for two days straight. Initially, I assumed it was terrible timing. I travel a lot, and due to Covid-19, many hotels are understaffed and delayed shipment of their usual products. However, when I voiced my concern about housekeeping, the front desk staff told me that I only paid $95 per night to reserve the room despite the service being included. Based on his statement, he felt I wasn't entitled to the same services as other guests because I reserved my room at a lower rate. In addition, I am still wondering if my skin color played a role in the reason he chose to look at my billing statement instead of trying to address my concerns as a guest. His statement was inappropriate. I am still a paying guest and deserve to be treated as such. I will never return. 

Let me say the location is in a good area, not to far from Glen Ivy so it was nice, however the service there was beyond poor. We arrive well after check in, 5pm. to be exact. Upon checking in, they advised they needed an extra 15 mins to finish up, which was ok by me. They also advised they would have all the necessary things I needed such as the bedding for the pull out couch since we had 5 people in the suite, extra towels (since 2 would not cut it for 5 people). I understood since everyone is trying to work with what staff they have due to the shortage. I left to go grab a bite with my group, we were gone a little over and hour and still nothing from the hotel, finally it's ready. We go get the keys after a long day and the room is nice spacious and what we could tell clean. We all need a shower from our long day so we see only a few towels, we call the front desk, no answer. We call housekeeping, now answer. I tried for over 10 mins. I called from my cell to the main hotel number and Is got thru. I asked if they could bring 5 more towels up and the person (male) at the front desk rudely said ”oh you can come get them down here”. I said since we just got into our room and waited over 3 hours to get in, please bring them up. We all waited about 30 mins, we understand it wasn't going to be instant but in a reasonable amount of time, and still nothing. We finally had to go down stairs to get them and when asked if we can have the towels (2 of the ladies in our group) the man at the front desk again was rude to them and said “here”. Now I know customers service is hectic and can be stressful, however the hotel needs to put that happy face on and show some respect and consideration after all I didn’t request any thing more than my room when I was told 3 hours later my room wasn’t ready. Now here comes the kicker, we are all ready for bed after our showers, we look for the bedding for the pull and yet again the wonderful staff didn't leave in the room. I had enough, I went down stairs to discuss with the staff and found out the gentleman’s name (Kolby, Colby, Colbey) is the rude person at the front desk and on the phone and the lady was apologetic. However, this is just to much for me to deal with when you go away from the hectic days of everyday life. I hope you all see this post and make yourself aware of the hotel and I certainly wrote to the manager and corporate.
