Hotel Best Western Plus di Rome

As part of our ongoing Europe trip, I stayed with my aunt and my friend for 4 nights; we booked 2 rooms, our bed looked like a double but was 2 single joined so it was great for me and my aunt as we separated the beds. The hotel had good amenities - private bathroom was huge although for some reason the lights would just turn off randomly? I don't know if it was just our room or everyone else's. The swimming pool is only opened in the summer!! so it was closed for us, which was sad. The staff was really nice and they gave us extra blankets, coffee machine and a kettle when we asked for it! Really appreciated their help and trust me there was so many large groups always arriving at this hotel so they were doing amazing. We paid for dinner once and a breakfast. Dinner was hit or miss - I loved my Chicken salad, but the others weren't impressed with the burgers they had but breakfast was definitely better. I think the star was the beans because wow they were good. The only major cons about the stay was that our room was located right next to the elevator (same as Florence) and it was noisy all morning and late at night, plus some construction at like 8am ish so please if you can, ask for a faraway room! Also the distance from the city centre was quite tiring, yes it is only 23 mins metro from the Torre Angela station but an 11 mins walk from the station to the hotel and with our suitcases and the station exit not having any elevators, it was hard work. To get to the hotel side, you need to first go down the stairs, then up the stairs and go down again so if you are walking from the station to the hotel, be prepared!

Very good location, brand new and styled design. Conveniently located for 5 mins walk from the Roma Termini and central point for most of the tourist attractions in Rome. The only complaint is the lift for accessing the gym is very slow as the gym is contracted out for fitness class and always occupied. Staff are friendly and allowed to have late check out till 1230 to met out train schedule.

The staff and location were perfect… room are clean Very safe place for a solo woman .. train station across the road where itself like big shopping mall where .. restaurants are all over the place specially behind station

The first day when I check in they gave me the room which face to the back of the building with the very dirty pipes and somebody bathroom window. It's a dark room with a sad feeling which I paid £336 for 2 mights. When I booked the hotel it didn't say anything from the website that you are facing somebody toilet and the pipes. If I knew it, I won't pay that much for this kind of room definitely!!!!! I asked for a change but they just as usual, said that nothing available. I was angry, for the money I spent, I believe I should have a decent room. After one night I really can't stand, so I called trip.com. they contacted the hotel and right away they let me change to a decent room. See the photos of both bedrooms. I'm appreciated of the service from the trip.com. Only one bin in the bathroom, no bin in the living room. Breakfast is very basic.

The best hotel I have ever been, the bed is the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on, the breakfast is amazing, everything so good and fresh, the Spa is to die for, i had a massage aswell and it was very good, they also give free products in the fridge for you which is a bonus, very clean, the position is amazing not far from town center, I wish I could go back now. Big should out to ever employees, always with a smile, always nice, nothing is too much of a problem, thank you for making this experience for me so effortless

Cosy room. Close to transport, amenities deceiving as linked with other hotels, spa area not in this hotel but another up the road. Upstairs balcony/ bar not in service anymore but ok for a quiet drink you can take up as self service. Coffee not great, suggest to go elsewhere. Amazing seafood restaurant nearby would highly recommended, SaTanca Crostaceri.

Stayed here for 3 nights, never felt like staying in a 4* in any way. The only good things about the hotel were its location and some options for breakfast. During my stay, I never felt welcome here. No one even had the courtesy to even say 'good morning' or 'welcome'. This was probably one of the places where the reception staff is equally rude and cold as the restaurant staff. What kind of 4* hotel restaurant has a single coffee machine which servers one cup at a time ? Or a single toaster which can toast only one bread at a time ? What kind of 4* hotel doesn't have an electric kettle in the room ? When asked for a kettle, the reception staff throws terrible attitude at you like ”Do you know it is not included in your package ? Ok, let me think about doing this as a favour for you”. Wi-Fi was terrible most of the time. I would recommend not to throw money by staying here, there are many better options around.
