Hotel Champagne Palace

it is located just few minutes walk from Termini, which is very location. You can walk to a lot of tourist attractions like Colosseum and there are a lot of restaurants and supermarket around. I would not say the service is poor as the staffs are polite, as I did not make any extra request, I cannot judge. The facilities are quite hard to comment, as I paid only around 60pounds per day, I would not anticipate any extra so I brought my own toothpaste, shampoo etc. But I definitely felt uncomfortable while there is no hot water at late night while I desperately needed to take shower. I knew little hotel wanted to cut cost so they will have limited supply of hot water, but please let the guests know in advance so that we could plan in advance. And the water inside the shower tube did not drain very well which was quite stressful. I would suggest the hotel to update their photo to give the guests a more genuine picture so they would not over expect as this hotel is definitely not a 4-stars hotel

This hotel is way below 4 stars, the room is super small I understand but there was no hot water for bathing. We requested for change but they told us wait until 11.30pm to see if they could change room for us. We waited for more than 2 hours, up and down for more than 6 times but they can't do anything. I hope trip.com could re-review their standard before putting them under trip.com for reservation or booking. Melissa Yap.
