Hotel Stromboli

Great little hotel. Location excellent. Pay for what you get. Station nearby and will hold luggage for you.

Great location, close to train station. Seamless check in, room is normal. Only shower is no option for hot cold. Around 50 euro per night. Breakfast is good spread however not quality focused. Wifi is not stable.

It’s a great location next to Rome Termani if you are just overnighting or transiting, very convenient for trains, subway, buses. It’s pretty basic but to be fair the price reflects that. To my great surprise the room was very clean but no amenities, not even soap. The breakfast is very basic but you can find something to eat, some pastries, cereal, bread juice and not ok coffee. The lift is ‘dodgy’, better take the stairs. Paula the Receptionist is very nice. I came in late and an old Chinese guy (must be Night Manager) shouted at me. I appreciate the Security check but his manner was very rude and not appropriate. Perhaps he can’t speak English but it could be a better more hospitable approach to the guests. In the breakfast room pictured the sun was streaming in, but it was covered with a horrible old curtain. Just take it down and let in some natural light. The shower was fine and towels good. If you are on a budget and out all day it’s fine. Basic suits to the price.

Breakfast , disappointment. Give you bread but there is no toaster , cost €10.00 for toaster these days. WiFi always disconnects . Air con basic but not good, room okay. Reception staff good. Can hear noise outside of your room. But street noise you can’t hear. Don’t forget the password and user name you need to login 100 times. Shower had no door so need to shower one way

The location of the hotel is very good, just in front of the train station and a walking distance from the main sites. In general good, but bathroom was very small, the door wasn’t closing properly so the water was coming all on the floor. Breakfast is basic, food wasn’t fresh.
