I stayed here for 5 days and the staff at the reception desk such as Fabio were extremely friendly and helpful. The location is about 20 mins walk from the Colosseum, which for me was ideal. The neighborhood is quiet, a short walk from San Giovanni subway station and has plenty of nice restaurants and cafes in close proximity. The rooms are on the small side but you get what you pay for. The breakfast for 6 euros is superb value too.

It was pretty good stay overall. It was a decent sized standard sized room. The bathroom was a really good size as well. What impressed me the most was how immaculately clean it was from the minute I checked in thru the duration of the stay. They cleaned the room daily and left a bottle of water when I first checked in which was nice. The staff is nice and friendly for the most part. The breakfast was also pretty good in my opinion. It’s quite varied and a great selection. As far as location, it’s not terrible but not great. It’s a 13 min walk to the metro. However there is a bus around the corner about 2 blocks where it takes 20-30 min into center of town with all major sites. If you’re looking for a stay away from the tourist sites and peaceful then this place is perfect. There are some restaurants and bars in the area that are good. The only thing I was disappointed in was with an issue I was having with a restaurant reservation. I asked the staff to see if they could contact the restaurant to double check on a reservation I made prior. The date was not available on the email I sent. It seemed like the staff was bothered by the request. Just for the record I normally handle these issues myself but it would be a costly call with my phone plan. And I figured since on the website they do state that they help with these types of things I didn’t think it was such a bothersome request. But that was the feeling I was getting back from them. Also I tried making the call from the room but they don’t allow any local calls. Other than that I would not let that minor issue overshadow my stay. I enjoyed the hotel overall.

La posizione è molto centrale ma non è agevole muoversi perché la fermata della metro è a 1.500 metri e a piedi si raggiunge in 22 minuti (google maps). La struttura è in un palazzetto d'epoca con un ampio parcheggio che costa 10 euro a notte, in linea con i costi dei parcheggi nella zona. La struttura sarebbe anche gradevole se non fosse ridotta molto male, c'è bisogno di una totale e profonda ristrutturazione. Il personale è molto gentile e disponibile ma un po' disorganizzato, se fai una richiesta ad una persona non è detto che venga riportata a chi viene a sostituirla, creando dei malintesi. La camera doppia era piuttosto piccola, numerosi gli urti contro gli spigoli dei tavolini, i mobili sono vecchi e rovinati, l'aria condizionata funziona bene, il televisore è piccolissimo e non riceve che pochi canali, esteri, nessuno è venuto a risintonizzarla. Il frigobar, vuoto, è praticamente inutile a causa della temperatura interna quasi uguale a quella ambiente, un problema per me che dovevo conservare un medicinale. Wi-fi gratuito e protetto da password ma piuttosto lento, problemi con lo streaming. La cosa peggiore è l'uso esteso di moquette, vecchia e macchiata, davvero inaccettabile... sarà che io odio la moquette negli alberghi. La camera, che affacciava sul retro era silenziosa ma aveva i tendaggi parzialmente non funzionante. Non è stato possibile sistemarla da parte della manutenzione. Il bagno sarebbe anche accettabile se non fosse, come in tutto, necessaria una modernizzazione, mancano le salviette di carta e sono scarsi i saponi di cortesia. La camera è stata pulita a giorni alterni nella settimana di soggiorno, la biancheria cambiata una volta, gli asciugamani due volte. Per il soggiorno, non previsto, di una seconda persona sono stati richiesti 20 euro a notte, più 6 euro di tassa di soggiorno, più 10 euro per la colazione. Ok per la tassa, non dipende da loro, ok per i 10 euro per la colazione, ma 20 euro a notte per una camera già doppia ed un cambio di asciugamani fatto 2 volte, 120 euro mi sembrano francamente una esagerazione, soprattutto quando nella grande maggioranza degli hotel che frequento anche una dozzina di volte l'anno per una media di una sessantina di notti, in genere la seconda persona soggiorna senza pagare degli extra! Insomma alla fine ho pagato, oltre alla camera doppia uso singola per sei notti dal costo di 750 euro più 36 euro di tassa di soggiorno, altri 216 euro tra secondo ospite, parcheggio e tassa di soggiorno, per un totale di 1.002 euro e cioè 167 euro a notte, un po' esagerati viste le condizioni in cui si trova la struttura attualmente.

We had a wonderful time at this hotel. The staff are absolutely amazing, they had not only helped me when I ran into some booking issues, but they also were very helpful in regards to giving us tips and advice when it came to the trip, and generally gave us a very welcoming stay during out first leg in Italy. As for the rooms they are very comfortable, and well taken care of, yes the rooms are close to the train lines but the windows are have 3 different layers to help block out the sound which makes it much less disturbing. Additionally the neighborhood is friendly with many local restaurants I would highly recommend having one night of dinner in the hotel area. I would definitely go again, thank you Crossroad staff for such a wonderful and welcoming stay. PS. I initially had a bit of worry on their self check in process due to my own anxiety and the fact that we arrive at 2am but it was extremely smooth and easy!

Honestly，my experience this hotel is a little bit lower than equivalent level hotel. The mattress in this hotel is not bad. However， unfortunately， it mattress gonna be only point I satisfy with it. The service is normal，but their equipment maintenance is concerning，there are several bulbs down in my room and the shower door in the bathroom seems hard to push. Most importantly，air conditioner in the room is not powerful enough which is a terrible infomation for tourist in this summer. The picture attached in this comment is it outside environment，it might be not clear enough， but I have to say it outside is too dark😂， but it is not a luxury hotel in city centre， therefore it is still acceptable . This hotel is generally good， but there are still large spaces that it can move forward to increase it customer satisfaction.
