As part of our ongoing Europe trip, I stayed with my aunt and my friend for 4 nights; we booked 2 rooms, our bed looked like a double but was 2 single joined so it was great for me and my aunt as we separated the beds. The hotel had good amenities - private bathroom was huge although for some reason the lights would just turn off randomly? I don't know if it was just our room or everyone else's. The swimming pool is only opened in the summer!! so it was closed for us, which was sad.
The staff was really nice and they gave us extra blankets, coffee machine and a kettle when we asked for it! Really appreciated their help and trust me there was so many large groups always arriving at this hotel so they were doing amazing. We paid for dinner once and a breakfast. Dinner was hit or miss - I loved my Chicken salad, but the others weren't impressed with the burgers they had but breakfast was definitely better. I think the star was the beans because wow they were good.
The only major cons about the stay was that our room was located right next to the elevator (same as Florence) and it was noisy all morning and late at night, plus some construction at like 8am ish so please if you can, ask for a faraway room! Also the distance from the city centre was quite tiring, yes it is only 23 mins metro from the Torre Angela station but an 11 mins walk from the station to the hotel and with our suitcases and the station exit not having any elevators, it was hard work. To get to the hotel side, you need to first go down the stairs, then up the stairs and go down again so if you are walking from the station to the hotel, be prepared!

Siamo già stati alcune volte al 325 e confermiamo le buone impressioni. Camera pulita, spaziosa, posteggio gratuito e buona colazione, molto varia con proposte dolci e salate. Prezzo competitivo, anche per la settimana di Ferragosto. Forse un po' alta la tassa di soggiorno (24 euro a testa per 4 giorni di pernottamento) Rispetto alle altre volte c'è la novità dell'accesso alla struttura e alle camere con un codice da digitare su di un display, così non c'è più necessità di portarsi dietro la chiave Unica cosa che abbiamo trovato poco pratica e forse non molto ”green”, l'aria condizionata centralizzata. In sostanza, non è possibile manovrarla in modo autonomo in stanza, ma viene gestita dalla reception. Ci è dispiaciuto dover disturbare una notte il servizio notturno per chiedere di alzarla perché la camera era diventata una ghiacciaia. Ma a parte questo, tutto bene.

Unfortunately my friend chose this because it was close to our airport. But I implore you to look elsewhere as you will find much better places to stay. You will find no food in this hotel. Nor did I see a vending machine. Breakfast is it. And a tiny bar can give you a basic drink or tiny water. The room is basic but was clean. We each got one small lumpy pillow so I needed to ask for more. The shower had seen better days with stained and dirty grout and a shower head that constantly fell down. And the cleaning left much to be desired with long hairs found everywhere. There is a restaurant next door but give it a big miss as the staff are rude and the service and food is horrific. Movie Movie Hotel has quite new facilities, not like the dated hotels in city center of Rome. It was only 3 minutes walk from metro A line station. The hotel upgraded me to top floor with a spacious room. Everything worked fine. The only complaint was the tiny shelf (not a table) next to the bed. I found not much space to put things next to bed. Other than that, seriously it was a good discovery for visiting Rome for future trips.

It was a decent hotel, I'd say this is more of a premier Inn type of hotel, there's not much range when it comes to breakfast, bacon and eggs and mostly cake. It's quite far from Rome center so will need to get the metro, 15 minutes walk to the metro and then about 30 minutes on the metro to Rome center. I think getting charged £45 for tourist tax is ridiculous, especially being far out, with this extra money could have booked a hotel closer to Rome center.

Our family of four spent three nights at this hotel last month (Europamundo put us there). We didn’t like it at all. Our room was dirty, with mold all over the shower tiles, stains on the carpet, and dust on the night stands. The fridge was not working. They kept the lights in the hallways low; I guess because they didn’t want us to see the condition of the hotel. I used the stairs one day and they were full of dust motes as if they hadn’t been cleaned in a long time; I had never seen anything like it. Breakfast left a lot to be desired. The area surrounding the hotel was ok during the day, but it was pretty sketchy at night. Also, it was pretty far from everything. We were planning on doing a lot of walking (something that we do in every city we visit), but it was impossible to walk from the hotel to the main tourist sights; for example, the walking distance from the hotel to Vatican City is two hours, each way. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone; the place is a dump. Please, avoid at all costs.

PPengguna TetamuI cannot recommend this hotel enough! I visited with my 14-year old daughter last month, with 5 nights in Rome at the beginning and 2 nights at the end. Based on reviews, price, and location, I booked this hotel -- we could not have been happier. Our room was spotless during both of our stays, as were the common areas, restaurant, etc. The hotel is perfectly located -- right in the middle of the historic center and walkable to everything -- Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Pantheon all a 5-10 minute walk. Whenever we needed a taxi (e.g. early morning tours that were a 25 min walk away), the front desk staff (Lyuba, Davide, Iustin) were helpful and the taxi was never more than a 4 minute wait (more about staff below). The hotel is on a road with restaurants, a few small supermarkets, a wonderful local pasticceria, and a 4-5 minute walk from Piazza Navona -- a beautiful, huge piazza with stunning fountains, surrounded by endless restaurants and bars. There's a pharmacy right off the piazza if you need anything -- I used it to get COVID tested to be able to fly home. It was fast, easy, and reliable.
The hotel breakfasts were fantastic - typical European breakfast with meats + cheeses, yogurts / cereals / berries, all kinds of coffee drinks, breads / rolls / croissants, warm foods (e.g. quiche, sauteed spinach, eggs, etc.), and endless baked goods. The staff wore masks at all times, and most guests wore masks while up and about at the buffet, taking them off while seated. The tables were set beautifully and the entire area was spotless -- it was easy to see how hard the dining room staff worked.
The rooms were great -- extremely comfortable beds, terrific linens, wonderful shower, all modern and new. Be aware, even with the window closed and on a higher floor, on the front side of the hotel the street below is busy and there's a restaurant / bar with outdoor seating in front of the hotel -- if you're a light sleeper, you'll hear sounds (people + traffic) late into the night. My daughter didn't notice at all -- I heard it all night. Our room during the beginning of our stay was on the rear of the buidling, opening into a small courtyard -- it was lovely, quiet, airy, and had a wonderful balcony (4th Floor). If you can get one of those rooms, I highly recommend it.
The front desk staff: ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL. As a mom traveling alone with a young teenage daughter during COVID and the instability in eastern Europe, I had concerns before traveling. Lyuba, Davide, and Iustin were attentive, helpful, accommodating, and informative. Whether it was checking us in early when we first arrived from the airport, arranging taxis, storing our luggage while we traveled to Florence, or helping figure out COVID testing to return home, they were on point, efficient, and kind. The afternoon before our flight home, I realized that the Rome Marathon was scheduled for the following day. They helped me trouble shoot while I was out with my daughter, trying to be present with her while simultaneously communicating with them via WhatsApp to figure out how to get to the airport the next morning. Requesting a taxi 1/2 hour before heading to the airport would have been disasterous, as they were closing all the roads, and no taxis would have been available. The staff arranged a private driver (worth the cost) and were in close contact with him and his dispatcher to make sure we were all apprised of which roads were closed. My daughter and I did have to walk 10 minutes to the river with our suitcases and cross to the other side, as all local roads had been closed, but it was actually a piece of cake. Our driver was waiting for us exactly where the hotel staff said he would be, and from there it was easy getting to the airport. If the staff hadn't been responsive and seriously on top of it, we would not have made it to the airport that day.

PPengguna Tetamu Where I stay when traveling is as important to me as where I am going. That is the difference between being a tourist and a traveler. When I travel, I search out family run bed & breakfasts and or small boutique hotels. Why? The people. People make the difference. On this trip to Rome, I was traveling with my father. I was looking for a small boutique hotel in a quiet location but a location from which all of Rome is easily accessible by walking. I couldn’t have dreamed up a more perfect property than Hotel Monte Cenci. Located on the Via Beatrice Cenci, a quiet location just one block from the Tiber River, and surrounded by gorgeous buildings with window boxes spilling over with geraniums, the Hotel Monte Cenci is a livable work of art. Designed in a historic palazzo this 30-room hotel feels more like a stay in a beautiful private home. Entering from Via Beatrice notice the two story marble lobby flanked by book cases which run the length of the lobby behind the reception desk. You will be greeted as though you are a long friend coming home for a visit. At the south end of the lobby is a magnificent 2 story window that allows light from the lobby to flood into the hotel bar. Just a few steps down from the lobby is a reception room and access to either the elevator to your room or use the stairs. We utilized the stairs. The bedrooms are generous in size with plush bedding, gorgeous ensuite bathrooms (some bathrooms have marble sink tops from historic hotel in Rome), casement triple glazed windows with views onto the surrounding buildings and streets in this quiet enclave. We enjoyed breakfast every morning on the rooftop terrace. In the afternoon the terrace with its lush plantings and awnings is a great place to escape for a quick nap or down time reading a book-also great in the evenings for a glass of wine or an Aperol Spritz. The location is perfect. Every attraction is walkable and the best way, and only way in my opinion, to see Rome is to walk. Rome is an open-air museum full of art and architecture and history. Stroll down streets, take the alley way, follow the delicious scents, and discover a small neighborhood osteria or bar. Shop the shops away from the large tourist attractions. Discover a fountain in a piazza and take the time to see Rome, truly see Rome. The beauty of staying in a small boutique hotel is that the people at the hotel will also share with you their favorite places to eat, shop, sip and walk and share historical tidbits. I cannot find the words to express how wonderful the people at the Hotel Monte Cenci are. They are kind, informative, helpful, funny, welcoming and feel like family. Whether first thing in the morning or late in the evening I looked forward to every interaction with all members of the staff. They make you feel as though you are a family member visiting. PPengguna TetamuStaff was very friendly and helpful. Kept our luggage for us. Breakfast was good! Scrambled eggs were superb, good bacon and European cold cuts. Room a little small and AC was a little slow to cool us down due to sun exposure. We were on the first floor a bit exposed, wish we had been higher. Train station, subway station and all services right across the street. A good place to spend a little time as a tourist in Rome.

PPengguna TetamuWir haben letztes Jahr im Oktober unseren Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel gebucht. 5 Nächte Superior Doppelzimmer. Bei Ankunft im Mai diesen Jahres erhielten wir den Zimmerschlüssel und bekamen ein winziges Doppelzimmer mit alter Ausstattung. Bei Nachfrage ob dies das Superior DZ wäre sagte man mir, nein, es ist ein Standart Zimmer. Das Hotel wäre leider ausgebucht und könnte uns kein Zimmer der gebuchten Kategorie anbieten. Mir wurde als Entschädigung ein Discount von 50 Euro angeboten sowie ein anderes Zimmer ab dem nächsten Tag. Außerdem wurde angeboten das Gepäck in das neue Zimmer zu verbringen. (Gepäck wurde auf meine Nachfrage erst gesucht, aber lassen wir das) Das neue Zimmer war dann sogar ein geräumiges 3 Bett Zimmer. Die vorabendliche Reservierung für den nächsten Tag im Hotelrestaurant hat auch nicht funktioniert. Als wir zu Tisch wollten waren dann alle Tische belegt….. Beim auschecken wurde mir eine Rechnung über 5 Nächte Superior DZ vorgelegt. Nach Reklamation wurde der Discount von 50 € eingeräumt, aber Achtung, finde den Fehler! Standard DZ 170€, Superior DZ 220€, wir hatten eine Nacht Standard Zimmer und von dem berechneten Superior DZ wollte man 50 € abziehen. Ich soll für etwas bezahlen was ich nicht erhalten habe, bekomme dafür was ich nicht wollte zum regulären Preis. Dafür ist mein Ärger ja umsonst! Ich bekam noch den netten Hinweis das ich ja dann das größere 3 Bett Zimmer erhalten hätte (was ich nie gefordert habe) Ich bin ein gutmütiger Mensch und habe Verständnis wenn mal ein Fehler passiert, aber soviel Unvermögen ist mir in noch keinem Hotel unter gekommen und ich bin viel auf Reisen! Kein Hinweis auf ein Zimmer der niedrigeren Kategorie beim einchecken! Keine eigenständige Korrektur entsprechend der erhaltenen Räume beim auschecken!

We recently stayed at Best Western Globus hotel in Rome for 4 nights and we were very disappointed in the room provided to us. On the first night we experienced a/c trouble so we contacted the front desk, they sent a technician to our room who tried to fix the problem for around two hours but was unable to. We were then told that the problem could be fixed in the morning, and in the meantime, we were given a fan for the night. The second night the a/c stopped working again approximately at 12-1 am we again called the front desk but this time they did not have a technician so we were told to wait till the morning for it to be fixed again. The third night we arrived in our room at approximately 8:30pm to the a/c not working again we then requested to change rooms that night. We then able changed rooms where the a/c finally worked. I was very disappointed in the service provided to us, we were unable to enjoy our visit to Rome in these hot days as we were tired every day from not getting proper sleep and no a/c made the nights unbearable. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a relaxing trip.

PPengguna TetamuAbbiamo alloggiato in questo albergo per due notti. Appena arrivati ci hanno sistemato in una casetta esterna alla struttura principale con circa 5/6 stanze. Abbiamo lasciato le valige velocemente per andare a cena, e solo al nostro ritorno abbiamo iniziato a notare delle cose che via via sono andate a peggiorare. Abbiamo richiesto un ferro da stiro, e ci è stato detto che non sapevano dove fosse e che avrebbero chiesto l'indomani alla signora delle pulizie. In vari hotel a 4 stelle il ferro da stiro è addirittura presente in camera! Rientrati in stanza, abbiamo iniziato a notare dettagli relativi alla pulizia e all'aspetto della stanza. Nella doccia erano presenti capelli, la tavoletta del gabinetto era totalmente ingiallita (costo su Amazon € 15 spedizione inclusa!), l'unica sedia presente in stanza aveva un cuscino bianco con delle macchie nere e la pellicola protettiva totalmente strappata. A parte delle abat jour presenti ai due lati del letto, non esisteva un punto luce sul soffitto. Il telecomando della TV era rattoppato con dello shock nero, e appena preso in mano lo shock si è tutto srotolato. Ma il bello è arrivato quando, richiedendo un quarto cuscino che ci è stato prontamente portato, ho notato che esternamente aveva un mega alone giallo a chiazze. Inorridita ho avuto la malsana e fortunatamente giusta idea di controllare anche gli altri tre cuscini... Due di questi erano pieni di macchie gialle all'interno, anche sui bordi, che fuoriuscivano dal lenzuolo!! Chiamato il ragazzo alla reception l'ho caldamente invitato di portarmi cuscini immacolati, data soprattutto la presenza di mio figlio di 3 anni, altrimenti davvero avremmo dormito senza! Se non avessimo anticipato il pagamento (struttura consigliata come seconda opzione per un matrimonio) ce ne saremmo andati all'istante. Ci servirà da lezione: chi chiede il pagamento anticipato non è un albergatore serio!!! Dopo vari minuti sono stati portati i cuscini, puliti, ma senza nemmeno una scusa e nemmeno una parola! Ulteriore tasto dolente: la colazione ... Una colazione del genere viene offerta forse in un albergo a due stelle! Arredamento della sala imbarazzante, colazione misera, senza opzioni sempre presenti in un 4 stelle come le uova o della frutta fresca, bevande calde da una macchinetta di pessima qualita', due scelte di succo annacquatissimi... Il top è la vaschetta degli affettati... Di plastica, con delle crepe al livello della maniglietta per sollevarla, storta.... Il mio bimbo che adora il prosciutto cotto ne ha mangiato una fetta, mi ha guardato e mi ha detto che non era buono... E aveva ragione! 4 stelle dove? Anche 3 stelle sarebbero regalate! L'unica cosa positiva che ho visto: la cameriera della sala colazione, da sola, che correva da una parte all'altra e lavorava come una matta e senza che le chiedessimo nulla ci ha portato la sedia in più per il bambino mettendoci in un punto con più spazio, dato appunto le dimensioni ridotte della stanza. Prima e ultima volta!
