Avoid if you are not multi cultural, going out of this hotel for anything is like being in a zombie apocalypse where nobody likes you or speaks English... In house is better but you are outcast by rude bar staff and Spanish entertainment all day. Entertainers do try but find comfort in there own and move on quickly. We were all inclusive (so we thought) 11am til 11pm is not all inclusive in my book, not being able to even get a coffee or cold drink before 11 is unacceptable, never experienced that all inclusive ever and Jet2 do not make this clear when booking. No drinks machines to even buy anything either, get some bottles of water and keep in fridge is my tip Bar Staff are rude and the quing is horrendous, with only 2 staff working i felt it a stalling tactic. Every drink have 4 large pieces of ice, another money saving tip from management? Ask for no ice and they look you up and down... Won't serve drinks in big containers, only small so you end up having 2 which leads to extra litter and over run bins around the pool. Why you can't vend cold drinks yourself would cure the waiting times... this is only available in the restaurant and not poolside, why? Main pool is dirty, maintenance spotted jet washing into pool and I didn't see anyone testing the very murky water prior to opening which is possibly why my family had a serious sickness bug which was very unpleasant and so did many guests we spoke to when leaving. Ive rated this hotel at 3 star as i feel 4 star this is not Dated in places although eating area is newly refurbished and our room to, beds were comfy TBF I would recommend upgrading room as the standard does not keep children in a separate room and therefore everyone is together in the room, 2 children sharing a double bed. Air con is very poor and integrated (not a spearate unit you can control) so you can't control it at all. Keep door shut, curtains closed and lights off all day is the best solution to keeping room cold, this needs doing all day and whilst sleeping - very uncomfortable Food OK, not much variety at tea time. Breakfast was best 👌 Be careful with the dodgy Spanish man in the arcade who likes to refuse prizes to your children as ”they have won enough” bearing in mind we probably spent 50 euro a day in there. When confronted... the kids got their prizes - very dodgy Slides were good, the beach and sea I wished we would have gone on more what put me off was you had to pay extra for sun beds (5 euro each), the breeze was nicer on the beach, the poolside was like an oven and uncomfortable at times, extra sun umbrellas 16 euro to buy and they are needed as little shaded areas. 30+ degrees everyday, another money spinner for the hotel. If managed better this hotel could be so much better, maybe its the Spanish way? I won't be returning Cheap and Cheerful holiday all in all, you get what you pay for I guess. This was our first holiday with our 4 year old son. We looked at the reviews and noticed a few people mentioning that it was mostly Spanish holiday makers, that the staff seemed to focus on them and the English were left out. Well yes that statement is true it is, but it’s Spain what do you expect, we actually found the staff very friendly and spoke very good English, they included our son in most things, and where it was an activity that was complicated it didn’t seem to bother him that he couldn’t understand a word they said, as a matter of fact it was quite amusing watching three children of different nationality playing and talking to each other even though they didn’t have a scooby what the other was saying. The hotel itself was smart, and very clean, all staff went the extra mile to help. The food was delicious with a great variety for all tastes, even our son on his beige diet ate quite well. There were meat and fish options along with veg and salad, rice and pasta, and a selection of desserts including little tubs of ice cream. The pool area was really good and perfect for what we wanted, with different areas for different age groups, and conveniently if you have mixed ages it’s easy to position yourself to see both. The beach is nice but the water gets very deep very quickly, but little ones can still enjoy the water without getting out of their depth. It’s not really sand it’s more very tiny gravel, so depending on how you cope in bare feet, take something with you. Finally to the hotel manager, thank you for making our holiday such a special occasion, and thanks to the bar staff for putting up with my attempt at Spanish, they were very nice and friendly. Well deserved 5stars

Il n'y a que des éloges à dire comme avis sur cet hôtel qui est situé en bord de l'autovia.Les chambres sont neuves,le lit est immense aussi bon qu'à la maison,certe la décoration est innexistante,le personel est souriant,le petit déjeuner est dans la moyenne pour la catégorie d'hôtel.Notre GPS ,WAZE,GOOGLE ITINERAIRE ne nous ont pas indiqués le chemin à suivre alors pour les futurs clients l'hôtel se trouve à la sortie 800 de l'autovia dans un sens ou dans l'autre.C'est un bon hôtel pour séjourner deux ou trois nuits. Merci de m'avoir lu.

We have stayed here before - not by choice - family booked around 15 years ago to visit some cousins who lived nearby and wow, it was even worse the second time around. Not a lick of paint or upgrade to any furniture or amenities in the 15 years since we first encountered this dated, tired hotel. Extremely tired and dated. In need of some new furniture, beds made my body numb, extremely small room for a family of 4 (we had to climb over the beds to get to the bathroom), linen was itchy, aircon not controllable - we were all so cold we couldn't even sleep. Food and restaurant - the worst part of the hotel- In the basement with no natural light or air. We actually left a day early and lost our money as couldn't handle another night . Such a lovely location - with a little investment this hotel could be at least average, but I am afraid to say it is really poor.

We stayed for 3 nights and played golf twice. The hotel looks quite grand when you arrive,and we had no trouble parking, although it’s low season. In high season I expect you would have difficulty finding a parking space outside, in which case you would have to pay to park in the hotel underground facility. Our room had a lovely view with a small balcony over the swimming pool. It was fully functional and clean, but pretty tired. The air conditioning seemed to have been set to winter mode, so the room was 25C. Maybe okay for Spanish guests, but far too hot for us. The chamber maids, maintenance man, then hotel Director all tried to rectify the problem, which was subsequently rectified the following day. We were offered a move to an apartment, but didn’t fancy that. The beds in the room were also too hard for us, and the maids put on toppers the second night which made them a bit softer. Breakfast was pleasant, standard fare. We didn’t have dinner, but ate in the bar, which again was fine. We sat out on the terrace one lunchtime in the sunshine, and I suspect the pool area is lovely in high season. One lunchtime, the hotel recommended a restaurant in Aguadulce, restaurant Mistela Gastronomia, which was excellent. Very easy and cheap to get a taxi there and back. We played golf twice. Both days were at the weekend, but the course was very quiet, and we were not paired with anyone else. Very unusual even in low season. The area, and course is very hilly, so I would recommend a buggy (unless you’re super fit). It’s a woodland course, which I found quite interesting and challenging. Any water features are dry at the moment. ‘Rustic’ is the description I would use to describe the course. The pro shop were very friendly and surprisingly well stocked with a variety of clubs. It’s difficult to see how the hotel has achieved 5 star status, but the place grew on us, as all of the staff were so friendly. Despite having to complain, everyone we came into contact with tried their best to help, and seemed to want us to have a nice time. Not sure we would return, but we had a pleasant couple of days.

Stayed here for 4 nights while having meetings in one of their conference rooms. Staff is friendly, the rooms are not overly big but have all the bells and whistles, breakfast was ok, not the best I ever had but certainly not the worst either and valet parking very convenient . The best part of this hotel is the location. Most everything is close by including some great restaurants that are within walking distance.

Friendly and efficient check in. Nice modern hotel, rooms clean and spacious. Good location next to shopping centre and good restaurants and tapas bars within a few minutes walk, hotel bar very quiet , over all a nice experience with no complaints, staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast is a buffet with the usual selection of ham, salamis and cheese with bread and nice cakes. The hot cooked selection was adequate. A good hotel frequented by many business people.

After spending 3 days in the local Government hospital my wife & I stayed here for 2 weeks before we were repatriated back to the UK. Excellent hotel in a lovely area with amazing staff who were very attentive professional & extremely helpful - the manager was very supportive. The hotel is situated just outside the city centre but only a short walk away. Very near the hospital & a large shopping mall. The food was very good especially the breakfasts with a variety of choices on offer. Very near to a host of good restaurants/tapas bars which serve excellent & great value for money food. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a city break at a most reasonable price.
