Hotel Roses dengan Kolam Renang

On arrival with group, I was not on list, although I was lead booking for myself and friend. Waited over 1.5h before allocation. Reception staff had limited English so sometimes had to wait for change of duty before resolving queries Room adequate, but cheaply decorated and furnished. Bathroom also adequate, but bath stains scoured out, so large white patches. Safe jammed open and was told that I had to wait ( not a problem) and that I had to be in attendance for any work etc done in my room. That’s a new one on me ! Telephone never worked entire trip. No tea/ coffee making facilities, ? room service ? Towels changed every day, even when put back on rail; which shouldn’t happen in this environmental age Bar area bleak, with uncomfortable chairs and tables. No service before 16.00, and most unwelcoming Dining room like school refectory, and we had to sit with our own travel group. Food poor: large selection, but displayed in unheated dishes, so often lukewarm / dried up. We found the microwave hiding behind the servery ! Too much wastage, desserts with lots of jellies etc so often not eaten. Few staff, one of whom also doubled after 16.00 in bar, and was also the electrician This is rated a 4 star hotel, which it misses by a mile, even allowing for country variations in grading A disappointing stay, made worse by no prior information telling us that we were staying “out of season”, so lack of facilities and things to do in Roses, which was a 30/40 walk away with very limited public transport

Great little hotel - in a great location opposite the Port of Roses and the Marina, at one end of a promenade, and a 2 minute walk to the beach. It has a pool - and the poolside area is spotlessly clean - as, indeed, is the whole hotel Rooms are comfortable, and all of them have a balcony, and at least a partial view of the sea. Our room was the cheapest available, and the view from the balcony was stunning. Breakfasts are excellent, catering for all tastes. The hotel is reasonably priced, and for a quick trip away, it was good value for money. Car parking at the hotel itself is highly restricted, but there are 'drop off' places for you to drop off your bags. There are two car parks within a minutes walk (over the road in front of the hotel, and over the road to the side) that are free to use.

We were loyal customers of the hotel. We have been there for many times. Due to the pandemic, we did not visit the hotel for three years and we were unpleasantly surprised by the changes that we saw in August 2023: 1. The buffet became meagre, especially of a dinner. You can see savings in everything. The menu of dishes became smaller, from the main dishes - fish, pork, poultry and rabbit. The menu has not changed for 2 weeks. They do not know how to cook rabbit at all, some kind of dried mummy. We did not see beef and lamb even once in 2 weeks. The choice of soups is limited, gazpacho, which was always wonderful in this hotel, disappeared. 2. The choice of fish dishes is also meager. There is no seafood at all, except in paella. 3. Regarding fruits there were melon or watermelon for dinner and apples. No peaches, no flat peaches, no grapes. This was in August, the time of the harvest. 4. The location of the hotel is really great because it is on the beach. The hotel has its own lawn under the eucalyptus trees, on which the sunbeds were placed. The lawn was always limited by a wooden fence and bushes on the sea side, which created a certain privacy for the hotel guests. We were very unpleasantly surprised that the hotel opened a through passage to the beach through this lawn in front of the hotel to everyone who wanted to, cutting down the bushes and opening a passage through the fence. The place became accessible to everyone and unsafe for safety of things. Previously a calm and quiet place turned into a passage tunnel. The access to this lawn, which belongs to the hotel, became accessible to everyone. If you go to lunch and leave the rented sunbeds, strangers immediately took it and sat for free for the rest of the day. In addition, strangers came to the lawn, just sitting on the grass and even with dogs. The hotel staff turned a blind eye to this, although previously outsiders were not allowed into this area at all. Accordingly, the trees now smell of urine, not eucalyptus. 5. The sunbeds and towels are now paid for, and the hotel saved on an employee who supported the sunbeds, cleaned the territory, and was a gardener. The sunbeds were given out by bartenders, who were very unhappy with this additional responsibility. In fact, if in previous years the lawn was always well-groomed, filled only with hotel residents, now there are 2-3 people from the hotel and a crowd of strangers. 6. There are no more entertainment programs in the evenings, they even removed the stage for this. Before that, the entertainment was every evening. 7. The once beautiful Spanish-style hotel has deteriorated greatly. The rooms are old, there are chips and damages on the furniture. The towels and bed linen leave much to be desired. The air conditioning system in the rooms also requires updating, as it clearly cannot cope with the load in the evening and at night, or the hotel is also saving on electricity consumption. 8. This is the most fabulous hotel! Location is perfect for total relaxation, away from the town of Roses. Roses is fantastic base to experience local art and culture in the surrounding area of which there is plenty to see and explore. Situated on this stunning coastline the hotel overlooks the most idyllic small beach. Costal paths take you to two other beaches on either side of the hotel with views that will take your breath away. It’s a small, intimate, family owned hotel where the service and attention to detail is unquestionably 5 star. The staff at this hotel are outstanding, nothing is too much trouble, every department without exception going out of their way to make our stay perfect. Would highly recommend if you are looking for somewhere to get away from it all and spend some time relaxing and recharging in a beautiful hotel, with stunning scenery and lovely people.

Almadraba Park nailed it again and offered us a splendid stay in terms of hospitality, service, excellent culinary experience. The perfect place to unwind, enjoy the summum of catalan cuisine, access to sea, beaches, gardens, options for daytrips, bar, pool, restaurants, parking, EV loading and much more. Just a great place run by great people. Would love to give perfect 10 starts, but sadly Tripadvisor only allows five. We are returning guests and will be returning again!!

Vue magnifique sur la baie de Roses et la mer, que ce soit du balcon des chambres mais aussi de la terrasse où l'on prend ses repas, superbe! Climatisation dans les chambres, heureusement. TV et ventilateur également. Salle de bains refaite et très propre. Buffet à volonté où l'on se sert et où l'on débarasse sa table. Beaucoup de choix dans les entrées, les plats changent tous les jours, desserts variés. C'est simple mais de bonne qualité. Vin en supplément. Personnel très souriant et compétent. Piscine avec transat et de plus à 20 minutes à pied du port de Roses! Attention au retour cependant car l'hotel surplombe la ville et ça grimpe fort !! Très propre, le ménage est fait tous les jours et personnel très agréable. Pratiquement que des Français par contre. En revanche, l'insonorisation est très insuffisante dans la chambre, beaucoup de bruits de pas, de claquements de portes et même les voix des voisins qui résonnent... Vous pouvez vous fier aux photos du site elles parlent d'elles-mêmes ! Je recommande donc à 100% cet hôtel !
