Overall the stay itself was fine. Not the best hotel but the price was in line with this. However, I called the front desk morning of to ask about check in, and was told that check in was at 3 and early check in was at noon, and would be free if I was a Wyndham rewards member which I am. Arrived at noon and the man at the front desk told me that check in was at 4, early check in wasn’t until 3 and when I told him what the person I called had said, he insisted I must’ve called the wrong number and that they would not have told me that. He then told me that they required a $100 deposit despite the fact I paid with my credit card, which I would assume should be adequate insurance for the hotel. Everyone else was polite and kind, but my first experience with the front desk was off-putting as he was rude, dismissive and essentially called me a liar.
