Das Hotel liegt direkt an der alten Stadtmauer, perfekt für einen Bummel durch die historische Altstadt. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit und das Frühstück war ebenfalls reichlich und lecker.

Hotel a gestione familiare comodissimo per visitare la bella città di Rothemberg. Pur essendo nelle immediate vicinanze delle mura (a pochi metri dall’ingresso c’è una delle scale che consentono l’accesso diretto alla passeggiata sulle mura di difesa della città) è vicinissimo alla piazza centrale. Oltre le mura, a meno di 100 mt c’è un grande parcheggio che risolve ogni problema per chi viaggia in auto. Stanze pulite e di buone dimensioni. Mediocre la colazione. Unico neo quando abbiamo chiesto di lasciare i bagagli dopo colazione (servizio che ogni albergo, anche il più piccolo, offre ,anche per liberare prima la stanza) ci è stato chiesto più volte di lasciarle in macchina, alla fine però ci hanno consentito di lasciarle in un ufficio.

Absolutely lovely stay. It is a family run hotel and the front staff was ran by the father who is an absolutely lovely man. We were always greeted warmly and was a wealth of information and history. The room was very charming and quite large. We stayed in the basic double room and it felt far from basic. It was also quite clean. It is situated on the edge walls of Rothenburg and although we didn’t upgrade to have a valley view, you do get nice views from the hotel patio or the breakfast area. Highly recommend this hotel. Only downfall, is no elevator, but understandable considering the age. The hotel is charming throughout. It was a toss up between this hotel and Hotel Markusturm, which is owned by the son of the man who helps operate the Burghotel, so either way we were staying with this family. We were happy we chose this hotel though as it is a bit off the hustle and bustle of the town.

경치좋고 한적한 시골, 트렁크 끄는 소리가 시끄러워 조심히 들어서 몇번 끌어보았던곳. 체크인장소는 식당과 같은공간이었고 동양인은 드물었던것 같아 첨엔 긴장했지만 주인분은 매우 친절히 우리를 맞아주어서 긴장을 한층 내려놓을수 있었고 편안한 휴식을 맛볼수 있었다. 방은 예상대로 좀 좁았고 열쇠로 문을 여는 시스템은 신기했지만 싫지만은 않고 분위기와 잘 어울렸다. 창문건너편 강아지들은 너무 귀여웠고 아침에 맛본 조식은 훌륭했다. 반숙 달걀과 크로아상은 나의 원픽이었고 쥬스, 커피,요구르트,식빵 등 맛도 양도 충분해서 매우 만족스러웠다.

Das ist ein sauberes, ruhiges Hotel, ca. 10 Minuten (zu Fuss) von der Innenstat. Das Hotel bietet ein Frühstück—mit veganen Optionen—an, sonst keine Gastronomie vor Ort. Andere Annehmlichkeiten wie Fitnessräumlichkeiten, eine Minibar, Wäscheservice, oder ähnliches hat das Hotel nicht. Manchmal werden seltsame Fragen gestellt, wie, „Sie sind doch allein; warum wollen Sie ein Kingsize-Bett haben?“ oder „Sie bleiben zwei nächte bei uns. Möchten Sie, dass wir das Zimmer so zwischendurch reinigen?“ Letztere ist sicherlich ein Überbleibsel aus der Covid-Zeit, aber bei €130/Nacht finde ich es offensichtlich, dass ich die Bettart wählen darf, und zwar ohne die Wahl rechtfertigen zu müssen. Außerdem finde ich, dass die tägliche Reingung des Zimmers automatisch zu einer der preisuntensiveren Hotels der Stadt gehört. Dennoch waren die Menschen im Hotel nett und zuvorkommend. Es gibt sehr wenig (4-5) hoteleigenen Parkplätze und während meines Aufenthaltes waren sie stets besetzt. Das ist aber überhaupt kein Problem, da man problemlos nah und sicher überall auf der Straße parken kann.

Arrived via train from Wurzburg around 10.45am and was allowed to check in by a kind plump lady, room 206. Avoid this room in the summer as its directly above the night entrance of the hotel. No problem in the winter, lucky us! Room was smaller than it seems (22sqm), twin beds so close to each other, safe, small minibar, fan, TV, bathroom with a tub. When booking, breakfasts was 16.50 euros each, cheaper than 18.50 during check in. We are not breakfasts people, so avoided. Common areas are nice, modern with an elevator. Facade was made to look like half timber but it seems to be purpose built, concrete building. Why we rated it 3 stars was because of a lack of a kettle for the cold winter. They offered a thermos flask instead but its a chore to go down to the Restaurant every-time the thermos is empty! When asked about the bus for Dinkelsbuhl, the same plump lady spent 3-4 mins to check on her computer then told me to check by myself …so much for a 4 stars hotel! We found a 8.29am bus but waited 20 mins in vain! So took a taxi to Dinkelsbuhl for 100 euros instead! See my review for 3 stars Hotel Piazza in Dinkelsbuhl. The greatest asset of this hotel has to be its location, probably the closet hotel within the walls to the train station, 10 mins walk with no luggage. Add 2-3 mins more if with luggage. Overall, our 3 nights at this hotel was fine but we had expected more for the price we paid for a 4 stars hotel.

チェックインが１２時近くになりましたが問題なく、とても対応が良かったです。お部屋はおしゃれで可愛いライトがあり、タオルもたくさんあり、紅茶もお水も用意されていました。バスタブとシャワーが別々になっていてゆっくり広々できました。朝食が何よりも素晴らしかったです。朝ごはんを食べる際に自分の好きなものを選択することができ、また種類も豊富でとても美味しかったです。ローテンブルクにまたくることがあったら必ずここにまた泊まります。

かわいいホテルでした。コンパクトな部屋ですがとても親切なスタッフの方でした。朝ごはんも美味しかったです。日本語地図も下さったし、チェックアウト後荷物を預かって下さいました！おすすめホテルです。

The hotel is very central, the design of the lobby is interesting, room had a big window but was a bit outdated, which is ok, as the house and the town are old too. We loved everything
