El hotel está muy bien situado, cerca de todos los sitios de interés. La atención del personal fue excelente. La habitación era espectacular, con unas impresionantes vistas de la ciudad. Repetiremos.

While booking the hotel we certainly came across more fancy sites & locations. Despite the traditional perception transmitted by the website the heart was more impressive than the shell. The dynamic staff and trendy setting did charme us differently. Turns out that surprisingly the hotel is a perfect oasis in a quite noisy city. Once inside no noise no stress just a nice trendy cocoon covering all the aspects to regenerate after a busy day in the city. The rooms are nicely designed with a view. Breakfast is still in the “old” setting, but luckily did receive a inspiring touch. Offering a lot of variance it is a good start of the day. The parking concept on the site was vague, but perfectly expected by the caretaking staff on the phone. Although close to the city centre most of the bar & restaurants are at the other end of the town, but when the weather is fine “who cares !?”.

An sich ist das Apartment in Ordnung, ausreichend groß, hell, modern eingerichtet. Es gibt alles, was man brauchen könnte, auch die Verdunkelung der Fenster ist möglich. Aus dem Inneren des Hotels hört man fast nichts, die Zimmer sind relativ gut voneinander isoliert. Es gibt gute Möbel, eine gute Küchenausstattung, alles ist relativ hochwertig. Dann kommt aber das erste große Problem. Das Hotel liegt direkt am Bahnhof Rotterdam Centraal, was auch sein Vorteil ist. Gleichzeitig ist es dadurch im Zimmer sehr laut. Bei den Apartments, die in Richtung des Bahnhofs liegen, hat man im Schlafzimmer die ganze Nacht die Geräuschkulisse einer Autobahn. Die Fenster sind absolut nicht schalldicht. Hier sind Ohrstöpsel zu empfehlen. Der zweite große Nachteil ist die Klimaanlage - es gibt keine Heizung, also muss man die Temperatur mit der Klimaanlage regulieren. Wer das kennt, wird sich denken können, dass die Luft beim Heizen sehr trocken und unangenehm wird. Dadurch, dass das Hotel sehr große Fensterfronten hat, kann es auch ziemlich kühl werden. Auch die Sauberkeit lässt leider zu wünschen übrig, vor allem wenn man den Preis pro Nacht bedenkt. Der Teppich im Zimmer wurde ganz sicher nicht gesaugt. In der Preiskategorie kann man schon besseres erwarten. Nun zu den guten Seiten: - In der Küche ist wirklich alles notwendige vorhanden, inkl. Salz und Pfeffer, auch ein kleiner Geschirrspüler ist integriert - Die Betten sind sehr gut - Guter Föhn, eine Seltenheit, wenn es um Hotel-Föhns geht - Es gibt kostenlosen Kaffee in der Lobby - Aufmerksames Personal - Man kann die Waschmaschinen und Trockner gratis nutzen Insgesamt ein befriedigendes Hotel, aber nicht wirklich top. Vielleicht war es einfach Pech.

Das Hotel a&o liegt direkt an einer Straßenbahnhaltestelle. Mit der Straßenbahn 125 kommt man direkt an den Central Bahnhof. Sehr freundliches Personal. Das Zimmer und das Hotel war sehr sauber. Jeden Tag wurden die Zimmer gereinigt.

Perfect location just next to the shopping district Lijnbaan and only a 10-13m walking distance to Rotterdam Centraal. The room was comfortable and clean, the staff is kind and helpful. Om addition they havw a 24/7 self checkout store with nice food snacks and ammenities.

From the time we walked through the front door to when we left two days later all was perfect. The staff very happy and helpful. The room was very nice and well appointed . We chose this hotel because it is connected to-the Rotterdam Cruise Terminal. It is close too many eateries. Ifwe return in the future we will rebook. This is a five star hotel. Thanks all.

I had an amazing stay.. the hotel staff were very friendly and attentive.. the hotel room was clean, and the beds were comfy.. the decor in the public areas was incredible.. there was a great selection of food at breakfast and I really appreciated the fact it was served until midday.. I would highly recommend this hotel.. and if I ever travel to Rotterdam I would definitely stay here again.. 😊
