Coffee at breakfast very mediocre - sad for 5 star. Mold in shower - also not 5 star. The worst is the fact that we had to wait at checkout ”because they needed to check if we took something from mini bar” - that's like ”we think you are lying 🤥”. After 15 minutes of waiting for their check we had to go to the counter again as they clearly forgot about their check ...and then we ”got permission to leave” :) For the rest it's a nice hotel, not noisy and good beds. Good location. Tip : reserve your parking yourself in ”Erasmus brug”. Cheaper then via the hotel.

The location of the hotel is great, walking distance to many sights and shops as well as the metro and tram if you want to travel further away. The rooms facing the canal have a nice view but it's a shame the windows are small. There is a good car park next door to the hotel but hotel guests get no discount for parking there (24 Euros per night). Rooms are on the small side but fine for a couple of nights. They include a safe, which is nice to have. The hotel is not cheap, though. Around 200 Euros per night (without breakfast or parking) for a basic hotel chain like Ibis is quite steep. For that money, the hotel should at least make sure the curtains are not full of holes! They don't seem to have family rooms either, so families have to pay for two rooms per night.

Was booked into this hotel by my son who was getting married in rotterdam. Not knowing what hotel was like looked at some tripadvisor reviews. some good some not so good. what a great surprise we got when we got there. a fantastic mixture of oldy worldly and modern great facilities wonderful friendly staff who couldn't do enough for you. Comfortable bedrooms gave us a good nights sleep.If I have a critiscism it is the breakfast was a little expensive for what you got but quality was awesome. Great 2 nights stay wouldn't hesitate to go again

Motel One ist immer eine gute Adresse für Städtereisen. Dieses in Rotterdam ist jedoch besonders, nicht nur durch die Lage in der Fußgängerzone, sondern auch der Nähe zur Markthalle, die ein Muss in dieser tollen Stadt ist. Uns gefällt hier besonders die Roof-Top-Bar, die nicht nur einen tollen Blick über die Stadt besonders nachts hat, sondern hier auch eine tolle Auswahl von Gin aus aller Welt geboten wird. (allgemein bei Motel One's zu finden) Die Zimmer sind wie bei Motel One üblich relativ klein, aber bei der Ausstattung sehr inteligent aufgebaut.

Just opened hotel in the center of Rotterdam has bright spacious rooms . Room has flat screen TV, free of charge WiFi in the entire building. Walk in shower has screen protector. Hairdryer and toiletries are free of charge. Hotel is located in museums area, maritime museum is in approximately 350 meters away. Unfortunately during COVID-19 time it was closed.

Good location middle in the centre with all the shops around in the area. Also possible to rent bikes in the hotel, so you can see the whole city in a day. The staff was very friendly and helpfull with information of the city
